Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2767: 567: Armor Unsealed, Blood Battle Against the Demonic Horde!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The third comprehensive war has erupted as the demon horde launches a massive invasion against the Nora World. To counter the Gargoyles and their anti-wizard capabilities, the Nora Council has deployed powerful body-refining experts and a vast undead army from the Underworld. As high-level demons target the Ancient Dragon Continent, the Mechanical School activates the Continent Fortress plan, utilizing forty-nine Star Castles to shift the very tectonic plates of the land. With the support of the Ancient Mountain Dragon, the defenders prepare to trap the invading aquatic demon forces within the reshaped inland waterways.

The Ancient Dragon Continent underwent a metamorphosis in a matter of heartbeats. It reshaped itself into a massive ring, cradling an inland sea that spanned thousands of miles at its center.

Following this seismic shift, tens of thousands of Fish Demon elites rose from the depths. They were visibly dazed, struggling to comprehend the sudden transformation of their environment.

“What is happening? Have we been cast back into the ocean?”

“Curse it all, we must be trapped in an illusion!”

“Launch an attack!”

“Look toward the heavens! What is that thing in the sky?”

“It is merely the Sun, what else could it be?”

“But the heat is suffocating... I feel as though my very body is being evaporated.”

“This is disastrous! It is the Holy Light Magic of the Bright Faction!”

Above the ring-shaped sea, a sphere resembling a searing white orb manifested. It unleashed an incomparable torrent of radiance and heat, with the holy light focused entirely on this specific stretch of water. Immediately, a massacre of unprecedented proportions commenced.

“Damn you!”

A powerful Level 9 aura surged forward, belonging to a Level 9 Fish Demon. It had intended for its subordinates to simply submerge, never dreaming of such a trap. Witnessing the continent's radical change, the demon realized it had been deceived. However, its path was blocked by the Flame King Dragon, which roared as it ascended into the sky.

“Let the flames cleanse all! Destructive Heart Flame!”

Binding chains of orange fire manifested, lashing out at the Fish Demon.

Sensing the gravity of the situation, the five remaining Level 9 Demons threw themselves into the fray. Simultaneously, from every corner of the Ancient Dragon Continent, colossal dragons let out thunderous roars as they took to the air.

The Ancient Mountain Dragon, Frost Sky Dragon, Molten Golden Dragon, and the Tyrant of Horror appeared. Beside them stood the silver-haired, elegant Sword King Dragon, who brandished the twin blades "Heaven" and "Hell." He held his position against two foes at once without yielding an inch! Had Namia not been pregnant, she undoubtedly would have joined the slaughter as well.

From White Dragon Mountain, another Level 9 aura pierced the sky. Princess Nanette of the White Dragons swung her hand through the void, summoning a torrential frost waterfall with terrifying power.

The reinforcements did not end there. Two streaks of emerald light soon shot toward the sun; these were the brothers Green Ghost and Green Demon. As members of the congress, they were acting under the Nora Council's directives to defend the Ancient Dragon Continent—a mission that suited their personal desires perfectly.

“Hahaha, count me in as well!”

The Storm Star Ape gripped a chain of blue lightning, charging into the fray with relentless momentum, instantly shifting the flow of the battle from defense to a crushing offense.

Panic seized the demons as they found themselves encircled by nine Level 9 experts.

Their intelligence had suggested that the Dusk Palace Master was currently occupied in the North Sea and unable to guard the Ancient Dragon Continent in person. They believed that six Demon leaders and an elite legion would be enough to cause devastating damage, even if they couldn't seize the land. They had never expected the Ancient Dragon Continent to harbor such hidden trump cards beyond the four known giant dragons!

During this brief confrontation, the inland sea of the Ancient Dragon Continent began to literally boil. The Bright Sun descended further, instantly reducing low-level demons to demonic aura. Their Abyssal Cores and unique body parts were all that remained, sinking toward the seabed. Mid-level demons endured for a time, but they were unable to fly across the vast sea and were eventually consumed. High-level demons tried to tear through the void to teleport away, but it was useless; the holy light saturated the void itself. In the end, only a fortunate few managed to flee.

However, their escape was futile.

Encircling the inland sea were 24 bases housing the Mechanical School’s Demon Extermination Shuttles. Previously spread across the land, they now shifted like a complex magic cube, aligning themselves in a 24-hour formation.

Then, 24 silver, lightning-shrouded Demon Extermination Shuttles, each stretching thousands of feet long, tore through the air like interceptor missiles diving into the void.

Through constant refinement and upgrades, a single Demon Extermination Shuttle now possessed the power to wipe out a Level 8 Demon. When synchronized, they could even threaten a Level 9 Demon. They functioned as the precision blade of the Ancient Dragon Continent, capable of striking any mark!

Amidst piercing shrieks, the aquatic demon army was wiped out. Not a single soul escaped. Many of these demons had survived countless bloody wars, but they had never encountered a slaughter quite like this.

Shortly after, a small task force of wizards and knights descended upon the sea. They were specialists trained to salvage the spoils of war. Even though the Fish Demons' flesh had been vaporized, a massive wealth of precious materials remained.

Inside the command center.

Herman and his companions wore satisfied smiles.

“We can only play this card once... but the results were worth every resource spent!”

...

In the mere half-day since the conflict erupted, the land of Nora had been drenched in demon blood. The rapid generation of demonic aura had temporarily outpaced the cleansing effect of the oasis life. Consequently, numerous demonic aura restricted zones formed across various territories, serving as strongholds for demons to expand their reach.

Naturally, the eye of the storm and the war's ultimate focal point remained near the Heaven Continent. If this position fell, any small victories won elsewhere in Nora would be meaningless, as they would eventually be crushed by Level 10 Demons.

Despite the Nora Council's preparations, the interference of the demons caused some of the massive tidal waves triggered by the Heaven Continent's arrival to leak out.

These energy-laden waves were destined to create a butterfly effect within the North Sea. Among the Land of the Four Seas, the North Sea had the lowest population from the New World. This lack of inhabitants was the primary reason the barbarian tribes and Nora had chosen this location for the fusion.

Inevitably, portions of the New World faced destruction, and casualties were certain. Meanwhile, along Nora’s northern coast, various Nether Capitals, trade hubs, and mortal settlements began their emergency evacuation procedures.
