The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2358 Burn the world

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
Cain unleashes the full might of his Scarlet Throne, manifesting the Gate of Babylon to summon a relentless rain of weapons forged from the souls of his allies. This overwhelming barrage decimates Radagon, leaving the King of the Root on the verge of total destruction. However, the tide shifts when a monstrous new entity emerges from the heart of the corrupted planet, possessing a ferocity that rivals the Ancient One. Despite Cain’s desperate efforts to sustain his attack, the creature braves the catastrophic explosions and closes the distance. The battle reaches a fever pitch as the beast raises its massive axe to strike at the Scarlet King’s throat.

"I've got you!"

The creature let out a thunderous roar, a sound layered with countless overlapping voices as if its frame were a vessel for a multitude of souls, each screaming with fury, insanity, and a limitless craving for slaughter. The sheer vibration caused the very void to shudder.

His right arm expanded to twice its natural girth, the flesh twisting and bulging in a grotesque display of power as he swung toward Cain's throat with devastating momentum.

However, just as the strike was set to connect, its entire force evaporated.

Cain had caught the blow with only two fingers—his index and middle digits.

The behemoth's limb trembled as every bit of the axe's destructive potential was neutralized, brought to a dead stop by those two narrow fingers. Throughout the ranks of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance, warriors watched in awe and reverence at such an inconceivable display.

Yet, their sense of relief was fleeting.

Cain's left arm began to vibrate with violent intensity.

"BOOM!"

A moment later, it burst apart.

Crimson mist sprayed across Cain's features as his arm was shredded from within, reduced to gore by the immense pressure he had redirected. Despite this, the Scarlet King’s focus did not falter. His gaze burned with a mixture of scarlet and golden light, saturating the emptiness with his indomitable will.

Though his left arm was lost, the captured energy had already reached his core and been instantly channeled elsewhere.

Rather than venting the raw power, Cain compressed every scrap of it into a Zero-State Sphere. His right hand glowed with blinding intensity as he thrust it forward. With a fierce grin, he slammed the orb directly into the monster's chest.

The entity was genuinely stunned.

He could feel the apocalyptic destruction coiled inside that sphere, a power capable of wiping out both physical form and soul. Even so, he did not flinch. Unlike Radagon, he wasn't built for conquest or complex plots. He was a creature of pure ruin, birthed from the heart of the Root for one task—to annihilate, erase, and spread a plague of eternal decay without end.

Instead of retreating, he launched an all-out counterattack.

His left axe whistled through the air like a tool of divine severance.

Both strikes connected nearly at once.

The Zero-State Sphere sank into the monster's torso at the exact moment the axe smashed into Cain's left ribcage.

Silence hung in the air for a heartbeat. Then—

"BOOOOOOOOM!"

A massive detonation tore through the void, hurling both the Scarlet King and the Root monster in opposite directions. The Zero-State Sphere flared outward upon contact, becoming a swirling vortex of Nihility and Entropy that consumed everything it touched.

The beast was hammered deep into the crust of the World of the Root, the corrosive energy driving him downward with unrelenting weight. Ripples of dark power—strong enough to rot time itself—radiated outward, devastating entire continents of putrid flesh and stagnant corruption.

Cain had paid a heavy price as well.

The axe had sliced through his skin, blood, and bone as if they were nothing more than parchment. Furthermore, it discharged a crimson shockwave that sent him spinning through the vacuum, causing the Gate of Babel to forcibly collapse.

Blood trailed behind him as his body tumbled through the darkness.

His physical form, which should have possessed the durability of a Late Alpha-Omega Overgod Treasure under Resurreccion, had been severed. Almost everything between his heart and his waist was gone, ripped away in a savage display of violence.

A flicker of surprise crossed Cain's eyes.

But in the blink of an eye, they flared with renewed determination.

The power of the Samsara Immortal Body ignited, draining a vast reservoir of energy in a single breath. Deep purple flames wrapped around his mangled form as his regeneration kicked in at a breathtaking pace. Before the eyes of every soldier in the void, his spine, skeletal structure, nerves, and organs rebuilt themselves one by one.

Cain’s silhouette was made whole again, radiating refreshed power without a single scar remaining.

However, he was not the only one capable of recovery.

"BOOOOOOM!"

A thunderous explosion erupted from the surface of the World of the Root as the creature rose. A gaping cavity marred his chest, and his entire front had been shredded. Yet, chunks of the World of the Root flew toward him, merging with his flesh and repairing the damage at an alarming rate.

The monster grinned at Cain with murderous intent.

The pain had only sharpened his thirst for the kill.

"At last," he growled, using a long tongue to lick the blood from his mouth, "after countless ages, I have found a foe worth fighting. I, Robuke, offer you my thanks."

His aura flared outward as his veins swelled, forcing his already terrifying power to even greater heights.

Cain narrowed his eyes, calculating his opponent's state.

"His physical shell is back to its prime," Cain observed internally, "but Zero-State Force eats at the soul. That wound hasn't fully mended."

He then checked his own condition.

"I am also depleted. Restoring my entire lower half cost a staggering amount of energy."

Drawing a steady breath, the Scarlet King manifested a Zero-State Spear, tempering the weapon with the Light of the Flow and the Primordial Force of the Void. He threw a quick look toward Anark and his companions. "Incinerate as much of the surface as possible," Cain ordered with cold precision. "Then fall back before the breach in the Wall of Fire and Flesh seals itself."

Without pausing, his Wings of Chaos unfurled and he lunged forward, diving past the Wall of Fire and Flesh as his spirit, soul, and will burned with intensity.

The Universe Matrix would no longer dampen the enemy's strength.

The coming clash would be infinitely more perilous.

But there was no path left but forward.

Axe and spear clashed once more, their conflicting energies exploding in every direction. The Power of Chaos flooded the hearts and souls of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance, sparking their fighting spirit and incinerating any lingering fear. As they surged through the gap in the barrier, they brought total ruin to the surface of the World of the Root, obliterating all that stood in their way.
