The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2313 War between the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe and the Crimson World

Cain’s hands tightened into fists as he observed the projection manifested by the Demon King’s energy. It was obvious that the Crimson World sat at the peak, while the center was occupied by the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe as it existed before the fracture and the disappearance of the Tenth Empyrean World. Yet, it was the universe situated at the very bottom that truly seized his focus.
The Scarlet King was well aware that the Tenth Empyrean World was currently the source funneling Depravitas into the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. However, that was not their original point of entry.
A single, persistent question had haunted Cain’s thoughts for an incredibly long time.
Who had orchestrated the Great War that nearly shattered the Crimson World and caused the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe to split? For the first time, a glimpse of the truth was revealed to him, and the revelation was grim.
His gaze snapped instantly toward the Demon King. But before he could unleash a torrent of inquiries, the Demon King lifted a hand to silence him. "I cannot answer questions or give details about my origin universe."
The Demon King let out a heavy sigh after speaking, his eyes drifting toward the horizon.
"It is not a matter of being loyal. Since I evolved beyond my base nature to become a Prima True Depravita with Adam’s assistance, I view them strictly as foes. However, our masters implemented safeguards to ensure we could never reveal such data. This was done so that if any of us were captured, the enemy could never exploit our memories to find our home."
Though Cain’s fists remained clenched in frustration at this explanation, he could do nothing but exhale sharply. He sensed no deception from the Demon King—there was no benefit in lying, as Cain lacked the means to force a True Depravita to speak. Nevertheless, as he processed the information, a sharp glint of realization sparked in his eyes.
"Masters? Do you mean leaders of your forces... or masters of the Depravita Race?"
The weight of that question was immense. If they were merely commanders of an invasion, they were simply more powerful Depravitas. But if they were the masters of the entire Depravita Race, it implied they belonged to a different, perhaps superior, species.
The second possibility made the situation far more perilous; any entity capable of dominating a Supreme Race would undoubtedly be a powerhouse of staggering capability.
Even though the Scarlet King had never encountered them, he could only categorize them as enemies.
The Demon King remained silent, yet the intensity in his gaze projected a wordless pressure that weighed heavily on Cain’s heart.
"Ahhhh." Cain let out a weary breath. The deeper his understanding of the universe grew, the more threats he seemed to uncover.
He looked back at the universe at the bottom, his instincts screaming in warning. These invaders had struck both the Tenth Empyrean Suns Universe and the Crimson World. Despite being driven back, they had vanished without leaving a single trace of physical evidence. Their existence was only known through the recollections of warriors from that era, and even those memories offered no clues regarding their origins or the possibility of their return.
Shaking his head after a brief silence, Cain pushed those thoughts aside to focus on the immediate crisis. The third universe was a clear threat, but there were more urgent problems at hand. His gaze turned piercing as he locked eyes with the Demon King.
"The Ancient One's plan for Unification—what exactly will happen?"
The Demon King did not withhold the truth from Cain.
"I don't believe that the Ancient One will use the power of the King of the Crimson World to aim at my origin universe. I don't think he can even reach them. However, he will definitely aim at the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe."
The True Depravita paused to weigh his words before continuing.
"The moment the barrier falls, the universes will start to merge, and the results will be catastrophic. Worlds will collapse and Realms will be torn apart, resulting in countless deaths. Because the Crimson World possesses superior strength and more stable laws, the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe will suffer the brunt of the destruction."
Cain’s eyes stretched wide at the grim news, yet the report grew even darker. The Demon King chose his next words with caution, knowing they would strike Cain at his core, but he refused to sugarcoat the reality.
"Once the convergence begins, the chaotic and violent nature of the event will cause the two Universe Wills to clash. Each will attempt to dominate the other, inciting their respective warriors to slaughter the opposition. The probability of an all-out universal war is massive, which would lead to unprecedented bloodshed."
Cain’s eyes narrowed, a surge of murderous intent and cold brutality flickering within them. Although he was a multiversal being with ties to both the Crimson World and the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, it was the latter he considered his true home.
While he had people he would protect at any cost in the Crimson World, such as Meylin, it was the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe where an entire Empyrean World revered him as their sovereign god. There, multiple Empyrean Worlds looked to him as a master of war—warriors who had bled alongside him against the terrors of the Emptiness.
If a total war broke out between the two universes, he would be forced to make choices he desperately wished to avoid.
After a few moments, the scarlet radiance in his eyes became incredibly thick and fierce. To prevent that dark future, there was only one path forward.
"Kill the Ancient One."
