The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2311 Reuniting with the Demon King

The Crimson World's Fifth Realm was a vast expanse, filled with natural phenomena capable of claiming the lives of even the most powerful ArchDeities. Mirroring the Fourth Realm, the heavens here were strange; yet, instead of a solitary white sun, the zenith was crowded with drifting golden stars. These celestial bodies shifted at erratic intervals throughout the day, some moving with such violent momentum and energy that they literally sliced wounds into the firmament, rendering every inch of the sky a death trap.
For the past several decades, this realm had transformed into a colossal theater of war. The armies of the Freedom Path and the Life Path had collided here, their conflict unleashing enough power to make entire continents tremble.
Among the many regions devastated by this eternal struggle was the Fineal Continent. Its geography had been so thoroughly shattered that it was no longer habitable for ordinary mortals, and the air was so saturated with raging flames that establishing an Eternal Kingdom or erecting any complex formation was nearly impossible. Ironically, this total ruin had brought a sense of desolate peace to the land, though that silence was destined to end today.
The earth shuddered violently for several moments before the fabric of space tore open, allowing three figures to step through.
Waves of fatigue washed over Cain, causing his breath to come in heavy rasps. Crossing the Realm Barrier had proven more taxing than he had anticipated, despite his recent growth in Cultivation. Nevertheless, a faint grin touched his lips; they had reached their destination with time to spare.
Exchanging nods with the Enlightened One and Meylin, the Scarlet King and his companions immediately suppressed their auras. They began revolving their energy through their Meridians and Dantians to facilitate a steady recovery. The Demon King had promised to locate them upon their arrival in the Fifth Realm, so they simply had to wait. Given his peerless level, finding them in such a sprawling territory would be trivial. After several days of meditation, the trio had successfully restored their strength to its peak. Suddenly, the space directly in front of them began to vibrate.
An instant later, an old man manifested. He possessed a robust physique and an aura so domineering that the world itself seemed to bow in his presence.
Although this was the second time Meylin and Cain had met the Demon King, they had been far too young and weak during their first encounter to truly comprehend the scale of his might. Now, however, with their souls elevated to the Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank, they could perceive his power clearly—and it was utterly staggering.
“Is this truly the strength of one who has reached the limit of the Third Realm?”
Cain couldn't help but draw a comparison between the Demon King and the peak power Radagon had displayed when the abomination crushed Anark with a single strike. Even then, it was obvious the True Depravita was on an entirely different level.
Pushing those thoughts aside, Cain and his allies stood up and clasped their hands, bowing deeply out of respect.
“Master.”
“Master.”
“Lord Demon King.”
Cain and Meylin used the term 'Master' to address him, showing their sincere gratitude. Despite the brevity of their time together, the old True Depravita had provided them with immense guidance and protection throughout their journey.
The Enlightened One opted for the formal title used by the great powers of the Crimson World.
A smile graced the Demon King's face as he surveyed the three. His eyes first landed on the Enlightened One, glowing briefly with insight before he gave a satisfied nod.
“Excellent. You have centered your Dream upon the Flow. Now that your mastery over it has deepened, your power is surging forward.”
Though the Enlightened One was startled by such a precise and flawless assessment of his Path, he remained silent and offered a solemn nod.
The Demon King then shifted his attention to Meylin. His smile softened into one of paternal pride, looking at her like a father observing a child who had finally come of age.
“It warms my heart to see how far my first disciple has come. While the Path of Original Sin is incredibly complex, its potential is boundless. You have done well, little girl.”
Meylin beamed with pride. Her transformation into a Depravita had been the most pivotal moment of her existence, and she felt a profound debt of gratitude toward the man who had opened that door for her.
Finally, the Demon King’s gaze settled on Cain. His expression turned grave, his eyes shining with a sharp, inquisitive light.
“So, it is true. You have acquired the Power of Chaos.”
Cain offered a slight smile. He had never intended to keep this a secret and had fully expected Zarazel to mention it. He gave a calm nod of confirmation.
“I have. I managed to trigger its awakening within the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe while battling an insurmountable foe. By connecting with my allies—binding my ego and soul to theirs—I was able to channel our collective strength into a final strike.”
As he spoke, Cain’s eyes began to radiate a brilliant scarlet hue.
“It has since evolved into something far greater than a mere combat technique. I can now establish a connection with people, natural phenomena, and the very fabric of the universe.”
The Demon King watched Cain intently, a flicker of nostalgia appearing in his gaze.
“It is just like Adam’s.”
After a moment of silent reflection, the Demon King flicked his wrist, summoning two treasures. The first was a miniature pagoda radiating an aura of harmony and purity; the second was a dark, shimmering sphere that seemed to imprison a multitude of souls twisted by sin.
Both artifacts radiated a power comparable to—or perhaps even exceeding—the dagger Cain had retrieved from Urin.
These treasures drifted toward Meylin and the Enlightened One. The two accepted them with visible awe, sensing the profound energy required to evolve their respective paths.
“Go now and familiarize yourselves with these gifts at a distance.”
The duo understood the underlying message immediately. The Demon King clearly required a private audience with Cain. They nodded in acknowledgment and withdrew from the area.
