Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 579 Seed

While Maeve's evolution began, Diana and Vanessa dedicated themselves to their own training, their power levels surging at a rapid pace.
Fiona, Yasmine, and Teresa opted to delay the absorption of their core for a later time; instead, they exited their residence and traveled toward the northern regions.
The entire landscape was buried under a thick blanket of snow, with the atmosphere choked by falling flakes and drifting spores, forcing most inhabitants to remain barricaded inside their homes.
"Husband, most people—especially the mundane ones—won't be able to survive under these harsh conditions, so…" Teresa remarked while they were in flight.
"So you wish to offer them aid? In what way?" Vritra questioned. He was willing to assist if it brought her peace of mind.
"I would require the assistance of numerous lord ranks, though I can manage the rest myself. However, the food supply…"
Teresa trailed off into silence. A massive amount of food must have been spoiled due to the abrupt shift in weather and the contamination of the spores.
Feeding everyone was neither a simple task nor a plausible one; she could regulate the spores and the temperature, but the lack of sustenance was a different matter.
"That alone should suffice. I am certain they can handle the remaining issues themselves, and since we are personally acquainted with all the empresses, keeping them under control will be simple," Vritra noted. Since the empresses were his wives, maintaining authority over the continent and its surroundings would be effortless.
Suddenly, Vritra came to a halt. The three women followed suit, observing him with looks of confusion.
"Hubby, is something wrong?" Yasmine inquired.
"I detect individuals up ahead. Perhaps they have also come to investigate the situation."
Vritra explained that based on his perception, these people belonged to one of the organizations that had launched an assault against him during the conflict.
"Which faction do they represent?" Fiona asked, her combat instincts always sharp.
"The Divine Kage. There are two of them, and judging by their power levels, they should be ranked around number eighty?"
Vritra surmised this was accurate, assuming the hierarchy of strength within the Divine Kage remained unchanged.
"Let us go and see."
They soared forward, noting that the two men were traveling in the same direction.
It didn't take long for the two strangers to notice the approaching group, causing them to pause and wait.
"Who are you?" Their faces were hidden behind masks, and their speech carried that familiar, mechanical tone.
"Well, well, it looks like I'm about to acquire two new wraiths." Vritra saw no reason to play games or hide his intentions.
He had already slaughtered the dragon council and converted them into wraiths; he intended to do the same to these men.
The number of sentries protecting his new home was growing at a satisfying rate.
"What?" With a simple snap of his fingers, Vritra imprisoned the pair within a barrier, and his physical form reverted to how he looked before the war.
Horns sprouted from his head as a terrifying demonic aura radiated outward, shocking the two combatants.
"V- Vritra Arclis?!! Sending a report to headquarters!" one of them shouted. Both attempted to transmit data, but their efforts were futile.
"Haha, is fear setting in yet?" Vritra stretched his limbs and discarded his coat. Handing the garment to Yasmine, he signaled for the women to step back.
Ending their lives was too simple; he wanted them to experience agony first.
"Communication failure. Commencing combat."
The aura surrounding the duo shifted instantly as they drew their weapons and blurred toward Vritra's flanks.
Their robotic voices chimed in unison as they launched an assault:
"Nullifying the threat!"
"How pathetic…" Vritra muttered, shaking his head. He extended a finger and lightly tapped the air in front of him.
Bursts of pale greenish energy erupted, causing fractures to ripple through space and race toward the two men.
In an instant, their forms were shredded into thousands of fragments in a bizarre fashion, as if they were glass statues that had simply shattered.
They attempted to regenerate but failed once more; the green energy was aggressively dismantling them, even though Vritra was using a mere fraction of his power.
After all, he possessed the core of a level 3 demi god; these Divine Kage members stood no chance.
"Whoa!!" Teresa shouted, genuinely staggered by the display of his might.
Fiona and Yasmine merely smiled; in their eyes, Vritra was unparalleled in every aspect.
"Do you feel the terror now?" Vritra’s cold voice echoed, and the shattered pieces of their bodies began to vibrate.
Their mechanical voices spoke once more: "Failed to eliminate threat. Initiating escape."
Vritra let out a laugh as he watched the two try to flee, their very forms trembling with fright.
"Knight—" Vritra stopped himself, recalling that Knight was currently in the middle of a transformation. He corrected himself:
"Hellmancer, go and toy with our prospective wraiths for a while, then bring them back to me."
"As you wish, master…" Hellmancer bowed and flew toward the retreating body parts.
"Let's move on."
Vritra spoke as they resumed their trek. Previously, the Divine Kage—whose members were more powerful than any of the lords—had been a major obstacle for Vritra.
Now, they were beneath his notice.
As they traveled deeper into the north, the temperature plummeted and the blizzard intensified.
The world was lost beneath the snow.
Vritra even spotted a small demon village that had been completely frozen over.
Other small hamlets appeared as well; the beasts and inhabitants of this territory had all frozen to death.
Circulating warm air through his hands, Vritra stopped as he reached what seemed to be the epicenter of the disturbances.
He could sense the greatest concentration of instability there. Sunken deep within the snow was a translucent white stone.
"Hmm, stay behind me while I examine this," Vritra instructed as he touched down, his feet sinking deep into the drifts.
He stepped forward, and with a burst of energy, he cleared the surrounding snow away.
The white stone was finally fully exposed.
"So, this definitely isn't a natural phenomenon. However, it doesn't appear that the demons or the Twilight are responsible for this."
Vritra mused as he brushed the freezing surface, detecting a rhythmic pulsation coming from within.
Driven by curiosity, he struck it with a punch.
BANG
Despite the impact, the stone remained intact, showing only a few faint hairline fractures.
Vritra summoned his full strength, channeling his mana along with a trace of the green mana, and struck again.
BOOOOOOM!!
A massive sonic boom thundered through the area, blasting the snow away in every direction.
The stone finally gave way, shattering into fragments that scattered across the ground.
Revealed inside was a peculiar, massive black cocoon.
Its exterior looked like textured skin, and it throbbed rhythmically as if it possessed a heartbeat.
"Is this thing alive?" Vritra scowled, unable to gauge much about it.
He fashioned a blade from Goop and attempted to slash the object, but even that potent weapon left no mark.
With the same level of intensity as before, he delivered another punch.
BOOOOOM!!
Yet, aside from a few minor vibrations, the fleshy mass remained unharmed.
"Divine?" Vritra knew only one source could provide the answers he sought.
"This is a seed. It is sown on every world that is destined to undergo trials. And yes, this object is the catalyst for the sudden environmental shifts," Divine replied.
"A seed? What is its purpose? Give me more details," Vritra demanded.
"The seeds vary for every planet and are overseen by the gods. It remains dormant if you succeed in the trial, but should you fail, it will become the instrument of your world's destruction. Regardless, the seed's primary function will only activate once the game truly begins," Divine explained.
