Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2537 1400: Footsteps Toward the Depths

A group of powerful figures moved rapidly through a dark, humid corner of the ship's hold, heading toward the deeper sections in absolute silence. Their swift passage created a sudden draft that stirred the dust coating the floorboards.
Much like Leo Ray, they eschewed the use of luminescent magical spheres, choosing night vision instead. An elderly magician within the ranks occasionally flourished his wand, refreshing night vision spells on his companions to ensure their enhanced sight remained at peak efficiency.
The golden-edged bishop robes he wore made it clear that he was a formidable Holy expert, radiating a powerful and dignified aura.
At the head of the formation was a well-built man who appeared to be in his early thirties. He possessed sharp, sword-like eyebrows and a determined expression. Clad in sturdy lock armor, he faintly exuded the majestic aura of a Tier 6 powerhouse.
If any other Lords were present, they would be shocked to realize that this incredibly potent Tier 6 expert was, in fact, an Otherworldly Lord.
This Lord was Ethan Young, a fellow Lord from the Summer Realm, though he had not been summoned to the same sector as Leo Ray.
By relying on his exceptional combat talent, he had recently undergone a transformation and broke through to the Tier 6 level.
Another notable member of this elite team was also a Lord—Ethan Young’s sister, Qunnie Young.
Unlike Solomon and Sylvia, the Young siblings did not start in the same location. Instead, they both relied on their impressive combat talents to fight through countless hardships until they were finally reunited.
“Brother, a sense of dread keeps bothering me. This so-called Lord Arena appeared far too suddenly.”
As the team moved at high speeds, a young female Lord with pale skin, draped in oversized magic robes, knit her brows and sent a message through magic transmission.
Encased in a thick energy shield and barrier, her voice was virtually silent to the outside world but resonated clearly in Ethan Young’s ears.
Her identity was obvious; she was Qunnie Young.
While Ethan Young possessed a physical-oriented combat talent, Qunnie had awakened a magic-type talent, famous for the devastating power of its thunder attribute.
Bolstered by the destructive nature of thunder magic, Qunnie’s progress had been startling. She was considered unrivaled within the Human Domain. Although she had not yet crossed the Tier 6 threshold, she had already attained the level of a half-step Tier 6 expert.
“I feel the same unease, but we must deal with things as they come. Many other Lords and subjects are waiting for us on the other side of the Barrier Area; we cannot afford to stop now.”
Ethan Young nodded slightly, his stern face filled with gravity.
“However, we only recently entered the Outer Region. In our team of dozens, we have only three Tier 6 experts and two half-step Tier 6 experts. In the cabin we just traversed, there were dozens of corpses belonging to Outer Region experts. This suggests that a Lord has already gained the support of Outer Region forces.”
Anxiety clouded Qunnie’s fair features as her brow furrowed even deeper: “And we are both well aware that our current strength is insignificant when compared to the massive powers of the Outer Region.”
Saying this, Qunnie let out a soft, involuntary sigh.
They had been traveling toward the Siren Territory before being drawn into this mysterious Barrier Area.
The Siren Clan was the Outer Region force closest to the Human Domain in their territory and had once maintained a friendly relationship with humanity. Had their journey proceeded without incident, they surely would have succeeded in opening a portal to the Outer Region.
But fate was fickle. At a critical moment, their vessel lost its bearings. When they finally recovered, they were trapped in a sea-locked barrier containing only a solitary island with no visible exit.
The events that followed were quite similar to Leo Ray’s experience, though the patrols they encountered consisted of a few Tier 6 sea demon beasts while the majority were Tier 5.
“Sister, do not build up the enemy's confidence while tearing down our own.”
Ethan Young gave a helpless shrug and remarked: “We have survived every journey so far, even when we were pushed to the brink of death.”
“But the danger this time far exceeds anything we've faced. We have no path of retreat, and we cannot utilize a massive army to outmaneuver our enemies. If we run into other Lords, they certainly won't show us any mercy.”
Qunnie shrugged back in agreement, her eyes drifting toward the storage ring on her finger. “Remember, every Lord is here for the treasure. They aren't just hunting for the ultimate prize; they are also hunting other Otherworldly Lords.”
Ethan found himself momentarily at a loss for words after hearing Qunnie’s point.
His sister was correct. When they had passed that Lord’s battlefield earlier, the victor had vanished without leaving a single clue behind.
Recalling the gruesome sight of that Lord's mangled remains, Ethan exhaled deeply.
Fortunately, they hadn't brought a full fleet this time. They only had one battleship and one supply ship, both of which were stashed in a hidden location and remained undetected by other Lords.
This meant they didn't have to worry about the Magic Cannon barrages occurring outside and could focus entirely on the threats within the ship.
“Brother, why don’t we find a quiet place to hide? That seems better than fighting it out with those terrifying Lords.”
