Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2913: 591: The Grey Mist Monarch Falls!

Levi inquired:
"Has the Sword Saint and Elder Hera thought about aligning with Nora?"
Bringing them into the fold would give Nora a massive boost, surpassing even the barbarian tribes' grand merger, drawing in crowds and potentially adding over a dozen level-10 powerhouses with ease.
Hera replied:
"For now, we prefer not to live under someone else's roof; our power lets us stand on our own in the Pan-Plane, but an alliance to fight back against the Abyss and Nightmare together sounds good."
Levi responded:
"Very well, it's great to have you both here discussing partnership."
Hera turned to the Star Sky Sword Saint and said, "Sir Davis, you can head back. I'll talk privately with the Dusk Palace Master."
Davis added:
"Sir Levi, remember our deal once you hit level 10."
As the Star Sky Sword Saint departed, Hera commented:
"Davis is a born talent in sword arts. The Arm Shura tribe lives three times longer than humans, but he mastered sword skills in under six thousand years and became a level-10 powerhouse in ten thousand, all because he's sword-mad."
Levi remarked: "That's how he turned into a Sword Saint!"
After some light conversation, Hera questioned: "Have you met Sauron, Sir Levi?"
"No, I haven't." Levi shook his head. If the situation had been right, he'd have wondered if Hera was Sauron's lover; that guy sure stirred up trouble.
"Are you Sauron?"
"No."
"Understood."
Hera studied the black-armored swordsman in front of her, as if checking if Levi was telling the truth. At last, she gave a small nod and stated:
"Since you're not Sauron, let's drop it. With smoke billowing across the Pan-Plane, Nora aims to lead the Multidimensional Plane. I respect your boldness... but as Void Holy Tower's head, I can't switch sides lightly."
"I get it."
"Here, take this; it should help your Nora Council."
Hera handed Levi a see-through insect shell.
"What's this?" Levi wondered.
"It's a level-10 insect shell from the Worm Lord; he gave it to me for aiding him in tracking the Vast Sea Survivor with a hidden technique.
I never used it. This will let you pinpoint the Worm Lord's hideout; what happens after is your call," Hera explained.
"I can't just take it without giving something back; I've gained so much from the elder today, it leaves me honored yet uneasy. Please, elder, what do I owe in return?"
Levi took the insect shell, a bit confused.
The Worm Lord was well-hidden; Levi's long searches had turned up nothing on his location. Now, with this shell's link to the original body and his Nightmare Perception skill, tracking him seemed possible.
Hera continued:
"Lately, I turned down the Underworld's offer to become Nether Emperor, since that role would block my path to level 11.
Your successes seem tied to Sauron; with your strength, level 11 is within reach.
Down the line, just assist me when you can. Truth is, I'm right at the brink of level 11, but I hesitate to make the leap.
Levi got it then—another heavyweight eyeing his potential for a future favor. He had to admit... she spots talent sharp!
"If I make it to level 11, I'll surely aid the elder as much as I can, repaying today's kindness," he pondered briefly and promised.
Building ties with a powerhouse like her was beneficial.
Up to now, no clashes had arisen between the Void Holy Tower and Nora; they were worlds apart, and the Pan-Plane's merging barely touched them.
Hera grinned and said: "No pressure, I won't ask for impossibles, so it's settled, young one."
As Hera departed, Levi scanned the battlefield again and spotted a misty gray crystal, grinning in surprise.
"A level-10 Nightmare Crystal, a gem even the elites overlooked."
Making sure he missed nothing, Levi set off for the Giant Kingdom's coordinates.
...
Three years passed.
Nora Calendar 1720, Blood Battle 1608.
The Nightmares officially waged war on the Void Holy Temple.
Meanwhile, the Pan-Plane's 6th top fighter, the Star Sky Sword Saint, Luo Country's 17th Da He Luo, and the 18th-ranked space raider Dark Conqueror Apollus, all declared allegiance to the Void Holy Temple.
This second major power in the Pan-Plane now boasted ten level-10 experts, outstripping the Council of Ten Thousand Clans at its height, trailing only Nora.
Levi knew Hera's ambitions ran deep. This move was a direct challenge to Nora, vying for Pan-Plane's level-10 talents.
Still, the Void Holy Temple was easing Nora's burden against the Nightmare World, a welcome relief. After surviving this assault, they'd clash fairly for Multidimensional Plane supremacy.
Nora's triple wins over the Abyss and huge triumph against the Nightmare had shaken things up; it showed the Giant wasn't unbeatable.
The Pan-Plane held its own; with more than a hundred level-10 powerhouses, unity could make the Giants think twice.
...
Nightmare World.
A assembly of Monarch-level powerhouses wore somber faces.
The Grey Mist Monarch who pursued Levi fell to Hera and the Star Sky Sword Saint; this invasion cost them seven Monarchs—a staggering loss unseen in thirty million years of Near Ancient era.
The Arrogance Demon Lord fumed:
"These puny bugs dare band together against us... small skirmishes won't cut it anymore. I propose calling up the entire Nightmare domain, sending three hundred Nightmare Monarchs to wipe out every level-10 pest!"
"Exactly, the Pan-Plane demands a cleanse!"
The Lost Monarch, steady amid the raging officers, spoke:
"Easy now; three hundred is too much and would invite the other Three Realms to exploit us, costing more than it gains. Keep in mind, our true foe is the astral world; no matter how the Pan-Plane fights back, doom awaits them.
That said, we can't let the Pan-Plane grow wild; crush the sprouts early. From this day, I'll consult the Supreme Will, rallying 100 Nightmare Monarchs domain-wide to smash the Shadow World, Void Holy Temple, and Nora Council!"
The battered Monarchs had run out of tolerance.
This round, they meant business!
...
Land of Oblivion.
A hidden refuge.
Levi tallied the spoils from this ancient tower.
No Sun Refining Artifacts mentioned, but 15 Bright Moon Artifacts, 54 Morning Star Artifacts, and 546 various lower-level artifacts in total.
Rare items over level 6: 2 level-nine treasures, 1 divine weapon.
Countless other resources besides.
As he left, Levi bumped into the Grey Mist Monarch and snagged a free level-10 Nightmare Crystal Core. He cradled it, sensing eerie spatial pulses and insights inside.
"Prime stuff, perfect for delving into Space Sequence Magic."
There was also a level-10 Illusion Device, not quite a divine weapon but usable by Levi as Nightmare Lord. After inspecting it, he learned it was called the Night Barrier Bead.
It offered two key abilities:
First, it hid secrets, blocked divination and foresight. Even Levi's mighty Deep Red Eyes couldn't pierce it, proving its strength.
Second, it generated a Nightmare Field spanning a hundred thousand miles, muddling foes' senses, trapping them in nightmarish visions, and delivering strong crowd control.
This gem shone in support, not direct fights; an auxiliary divine tool to bolster his Nightmare powers before reaching level-10 Nightmare Emperor Dragon.
Finally, Levi pulled out the level-10 insect shell, his Deep Red Eyes cracking open.
"Little pest, time to reveal your hidey-hole?"
