Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2803: 573: Supreme Council 25th Seat, God Descends!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The Despair Sovereign, the Snake of the End, conducts ten thousand simulations to determine its fate amidst the looming invasion of Nora. To its shock, the results reveal that joining the Nightmare World or fleeing leads to near-certain death, often at the hands of the Black Dragon Lord. Despite the apparent impossibility of Nora’s victory, the snake’s innate foresight points toward an alliance with the world it once sought to conquer as its only path to survival. Meanwhile, in the Ancient Banyan Fairyland, Levi begins researching the neglected Poisonous Faction, aiming to weaponize plagues and viruses for the coming Great Tribulation.

Throughout the annals of history, many individuals have entertained thoughts similar to his own. Some were led astray by careless contact with the Father of Plagues, falling victim to his deceptions. Consequently, Levi understood that he had to remain incredibly vigilant while investigating the intricacies of poison and plague.

While immersed in his research, Levi took a moment to sip his tea, only to see the dark silhouette of the Tyrant of Horror materialize. The creature spoke with a heavy tone: "Master, someone is searching for you."

"Who could it be?"

"The Despair Monarch."

...

Within the Black Dragon Territory.

Levi arrived, radiating a powerful and commanding aura.

Waiting anxiously in the meeting hall was a handsome Naga figure. The visitor appeared to relax slightly upon witnessing Levi’s arrival, then spoke:

"It has been a long time, Sir Levi."

"Hahaha, is it not a great joy to have a friend visit from such a distance?"

Levi signaled for the Naga to take a seat, offering a smile as he continued:

"One does not visit the three treasure halls without a specific purpose. What brings you here today?"

The Despair Monarch scanned the surroundings before erecting a protective barrier.

Only after securing the area did it whisper: "This is a matter of great importance; I hope you will not take offense."

"Please, speak your mind freely."

"According to my information, several Nightmare Monarchs are currently deliberating on a joint effort to launch a remote invasion of Nora. They reached out to me as well, though I have not given them my consent yet."

"And who are these individuals?"

"That I cannot reveal, as many Nightmare Monarchs possess unique methods of perception. You only need to trust that my words are accurate, and the Nora Council must prepare themselves. It will be a grueling task to defend against simultaneous strikes from both the Abyss and the Nightmare World."

Levi fell into deep thought; it was no wonder he had felt a sense of looming dread recently. These are truly chaotic times, and the disasters facing Nora are becoming far too numerous.

"Roughly how many Nightmare Monarchs are involved?"

"I am uncertain. I suspect that more than ten could assemble in a short period, depending on their mobilization and organization. For now, only a few Monarchs are tempted by the idea. As far as I am aware, the Supreme Will of the Nightmare World remains in a state of slumber. Were it otherwise, the Nightmare World’s sheer scale would make it no less formidable than the Abyss."

Levi nodded in acknowledgment.

Had the Nightmare World been weak, it would have been subjugated by the astral world ages ago.

The Black Dragon Territory and its surrounding expanses represent only a tiny fraction of the Nightmare World—a depth that Levi has yet to truly encounter.

The silver lining, however, is that the Nightmare World is not launching a total war. Instead, it seems a specific faction is merely trying to capitalize on the chaos of the Abyssal demons' Blood Battle. Had the Nightmare World committed to a full-scale invasion, Nora would have crumbled instantly!

Naturally, if such a crisis occurred, the powers within the Land of Darkness would find a way to harness the strength of the astral world to counter the Nightmare. Despite their friction with the Gods, Nora and those divine beings would become indirect allies by necessity.

In short, this situation demanded the highest level of attention.

Still, there was no need for the paralyzing anxiety of a restless overthinker.

Since the plan was still in its infancy, the Despair Monarch possessed limited details and could not provide Levi with more information, leaving no room for further questioning.

Finally, Levi addressed the doubt lingering in his mind.

"Why would Your Excellency share such vital intelligence with me? Does this not constitute a betrayal of the Nightmare World?"

The response from the Despair Monarch left him somewhat stunned.

"To be honest, I intend to depart from the Nightmare World. I am not a level-10 being native to that realm, but rather an external mythical creature. Even though I rose to the rank of Nightmare Monarch, I have means to leave if I am willing to make certain sacrifices... I have no desire to be pulled into this conflict. With my power being at the entry level of level-10, those ancient and arrogant Monarchs will surely look down on me or even treat me as disposable fodder."

The Despair Monarch was well aware that its strengths did not lie in frontal combat. Instead, its talents were in lurking within the shadows and using its powers of simulation and foresight to predict outcomes. Based on its interactions with those self-important "antiques" of the Nightmare World, it knew it would never be truly respected.

It held no ties to the native inhabitants of that realm.

In their eyes, it was merely another outsider begging for a seat at the table!

Furthermore, the Nightmare World is populated by many beings with powerful perception; losing a single Snake of the End like itself would be no great loss to them...

Through its own simulations and research, it concluded that its prospects in Nora would be far better. Fundamentally, Nora is a rising super-civilization with a diverse structure, and the lifespans of Legendary Wizards are notably brief.

Species with shorter lives tend to be more receptive to new ideas. Their mental rigidity and arrogance are far less pronounced than those who have existed for eons.

Given the unique traits of a Snake of the End, it would be highly valued in Nora, provided the Legendary Wizards were rational and wise enough to utilize its talents effectively.

Most importantly, just over a century prior, it had sensed a massive surge in the strength of the Dusk Palace Master, even feeling a faint hint of danger from him.

The speed of this individual's growth was staggering!

To the ancient beings of the Nightmare World, a century is nothing more than the time it takes to yawn; they often sleep for millennia.

According to its analysis, if Nora seizes this window and focuses its civilization's power to shield this figure, those old antiques will wake up from a simple nap only to find... that the world has been transformed.

For the time being, it appeared the Nora Council was indeed protecting this man well. If they weren't, the Abyssal demons would have wiped him out long ago.

The conclusion was simple: he was not an enemy to be made!

If victory is impossible, then joining them is the only path!

Levi questioned: "So, does Your Excellency intend to flee the Nightmare World to find a quiet sanctuary, or are you looking to align with another great power?"

It couldn't possibly be planning to join Nora, could it?

The Despair Monarch answered with deliberate emphasis:
