Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2780: 569: The Origins of the Abyss Across Nine Epochs!

As for those at the late stage of level 10, whose power rivals the mighty Gods, they are an even rarer sight.
Levi’s upcoming objective involves traveling to Hell and various other Blood Battle Battlefields to hunt demons. His goal is to further bolster the strength of the Blood Battle Spirit, pushing its power infinitely close to the level 10 realm. Once that is achieved, the combined strength of himself and the Blood Battle Spirit should be sufficient to confront early-stage level 10 opponents.
The following day.
Upon opening the newspaper, Levi noticed a significant headline.
[Nora Daily: Sources report that the Council of Ten Thousand Clans has recently suffered from intense internal strife. One of the Ancients, the Void Emperor, has reportedly defected and vanished. This serves as proof that any attempt by dark forces to subvert Nora is nothing more than a paper tiger—a farce. There is no need for us to intervene; the enemy is collapsing under its own weight.]
Levi found the situation quite amusing.
He had always viewed the Council of Ten Thousand Clans as a formidable adversary, yet it appeared they were already fracturing before an official conflict could even begin.
The Void Emperor’s departure acted as the catalyst. Already suppressed by Nora, the Council of Ten Thousand Clans was now even less of a threat. It was likely that other level 10 powerhouses, those who are not Plane Sovereigns, would soon follow suit and flee.
The sovereigns tethered to their planes were less fortunate. However, they wouldn't simply resign themselves to fate; they would likely seek alternative methods of salvation. These ancient beings possessed numerous clones and incarnations, making them incredibly difficult to truly destroy.
Regardless, their morale had shattered.
The threat of the ten thousand clans was being resolved with unexpected ease!
...
"Lord, Lord, Lady Namia has given birth! It’s twins!" A young dragon demon, face flushed with excitement, sprinted toward Levi and spoke breathlessly.
"Oh? I'll go take a look," Levi replied.
Arriving at the Breeding Room, Levi discovered two slender, green giant eggs standing upright like blades, their surfaces protected by rigid Bronze Dragon Scales.
As for the parents, the couple had already departed for the Nightmare World to engage in sword training, following an ancient dragon clan custom.
"Not bad, both show signs of life."
Levi reached out and produced two Rebirth Stones.
Even though the Netherworld Market had been shut down, Levi managed to open a private channel to purchase a thousand stones from the Underworld—essentially over a billion blind boxes.
The price for this was his continued support on the Hell Battlefield for a duration; hunting a few level 9 demons made it a profitable arrangement for him.
He was curious to see which souls had reincarnated into these dragon eggs.
Considering the timing, both Gustav and Leviathan were potential candidates. However, after some attempts, the Rebirth Stones failed to react. He decided to consult with the Netherworld King, Mors.
This minotaur maintained a good relationship with Levi and had carved out an impressive reputation in the Underworld. His status had risen steadily, and his strength had improved significantly, nearly reaching the mid-stage of level 9. He had clearly benefited from his position.
Mors let out a booming laugh:
"Hahaha! It seems you weren't aware, sir. Dragon eggs are not eligible for reincarnation immediately after being laid. You must wait a bit longer to see the results."
"I understand. Thank you for the insight."
A month later, Levi conducted the test again. To his immense delight, one of the eggs was indeed the reincarnation of Leviathan. In his previous life, the little fellow was merely a mixed-blood dragon, but in this life, he would be a true high-tier dragon. As for the other egg, it was an alien soul from the fairyland, not Gustav.
Even so, Levi was quite pleased.
In truth, this served mostly as emotional closure for him. After all, once a soul is reincarnated, all ties to its former life are severed.
...
On this particular day.
Inside the Emperor’s Palace, two figures stood before Levi with respectful expressions. These were the Green Ghost and Green Demon brothers, who had now both become councilors. They were thriving; thanks to these two level 9 experts, the Green Scale Clan had risen to become one of the top 20 clans within Nora’s Ten Thousand Clans.
"Master, what are your commands for us?"
Levi remained quiet for a moment before releasing the Black Emperor’s enslavement over the pair. As the oppressive mental shackles vanished, the brothers traded glances and immediately dropped to their knees.
"Master, our loyalty to Nora and to you is absolute!"
They weren't foolish; the Council of Ten Thousand Clans was crumbling. If a total war erupted and demons invaded, destroying the order of the multidimensional planes, there would be nowhere left to hide except for Nora.
"I am aware. I used certain methods on you previously, but it was for your own protection. The Seven-Colored Scale Clan is unique and should have been lost to history. Today, you shall swear an oath upon the sword. I trust you will make the right decision and won't let me down," Levi said, smiling.
Feeling as though they had received a royal pardon, the two took the vow and offered their heartfelt thanks. They then departed for the Sorren Continent, while Levi traveled to the Nightmare World.
Levi's Nightmare Avatar sat atop the Blood Flesh Main Tree in the Black Dragon Territory. Beneath the tree, the Tyrant of Horror—curled up like a small dog sleeping near its master—opened its eyes. It looked confused for a moment before mirroring the expressions of the Green Scale brothers. It quickly spoke:
"Thank you, Lord Dragon King."
"You have served well over these years. Take these resources, consume them, and break through to the mid-stage of level 9 quickly."
The Tyrant of Horror finally let out a sigh of relief.
There is an old saying about discarding the bow once the birds are gone; those once enslaved by the Black Emperor feared that once their master was strong enough, they would be eliminated. Being allowed to "land safely" was the best possible conclusion for them.
As of now, only nine remained under enslavement.
The others had already been granted their freedom.
Levi had not yet revoked the Black Emperor’s bond on the little Spider of the Flora Realm.
It wasn't a lack of trust in the little creature, but rather that he required that specific contract for long-distance communication. Once more advanced methods of communication were established in the future, it too would be set free.
