Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2776: 568: Edmund’s True Form, Supreme Twenty-Four Seats!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The death of the Earth Demon Lord at Edmund’s hands has sent shockwaves through the Abyss, leaving the demon queens and lords in a state of silent dread as they await higher-level reinforcements. This display of overwhelming power has similarly destabilized the Council of Ten Thousand Clans, where internal fractures deepen as members contemplate desertion to avoid Edmund’s future wrath. Meanwhile, on the Ancient Dragon Continent, Levi returns to find his forces largely intact despite the widespread devastation faced by other wizard organizations. While the region celebrates its survival and the success of its mechanical defenses, the heavy toll of the war is felt through the severe injuries of key knights and the total erasure of numerous allied factions.

The damage, however, did not reach the essence. Given the Sun Chasing Dragon physique, he will mend after a period of rest, making this ordeal a blessing in disguise.

It was a case of like father, like son; the trait was far from unique.

The Giant Spirit God Witch, Abel, had also suffered wounds after plunging too deep into the enemy formation and becoming besieged by demons. Levi had cautioned them regarding this behavior on multiple occasions.

Nevertheless, their temperaments were fixed. Unlike his own historically cautious nature, they would have to learn from their errors following this conflict.

While some elite geniuses and common talents had perished, most fell due to unexpected accidents during external training rather than on the Ancient Dragon Continent itself.

The 18 Twilight Cavalry emerged unscathed. As Levi scanned his surroundings, he noted that none of his inner circle or kin had died, though some bore injuries. Having provided them with various life-saving trump cards, it was truly difficult for them to fall in battle.

At last, Levi commanded:

"Ensure the fallen receive a dignified burial and provide compensation to their kin."

The Green Bird Knight responded, "As you command!"

Upon his return to the Emperor’s Palace, Elena greeted the safely returned Levi with a joyful embrace. Her nose twitched as she remarked:

"The scent of blood Qi is overpowering. Just how many demons did you slay?"

"The count is lost to me; there were simply too many..."

Holding Elena, Levi reflected on the month of ceaseless slaughter. Though the experience had been exhilarating, he hoped Nora would never witness such events again.

"Are you exhausted? You should rest and take a nap."

"I am fine. I have brought an oddity for you."

With those words, Levi produced a vessel. Sealed inside was an oddity that looked like a tiny blue turtle, its shell etched with mysterious Truth Runes.

"What is this?"

"This is the [Tide Master], a rare Glorious Sun-Grade Oddity. Refining it will significantly bolster your defensive capabilities."

"Where did you get this? Please don't tell me you refined it at a great personal cost?"

"No, I discovered it among the spoils of the enemy."

Hundred Flowers accepted it with a skeptical look before happily departing to begin the refinement process. Levi then transitioned to the Ancient Banyan Fairyland, intending to slumber for a month while soaking in the Small Stone Pond.

Naturally, the Radiant Sun-Grade Oddity was not actually a trophy of war.

The slaughtered demons could not possibly possess such a treasure. It was a creation Levi had refined himself, utilizing a Level 9 Late Stage Aquatic Demon known as the [Demon Crocodile Turtle].

This particular oddity was perhaps unique; aside from the standard requirements, it demanded that Levi sacrifice a portion of his own lifespan to complete the process.

Fortunately, the cost was merely a century. Given his current longevity, he was not overly concerned, yet it served as a vital lesson.

In the future, if refining an oddity required his lifespan, he would not proceed for a Sun-Grade item; only a Legendary Artifact would justify such a price.

Consequently, he held high expectations for this [Tide Master], hoping it would grant Hundred Flowers sufficient advantages to make his sacrifice worthwhile.

Regardless of the chaos outside, the Ancient Banyan Fairyland thrived with construction as everyone worked with high spirits.

Levi returned to the Small Stone Pond, drifting into sleep within the spring waters. When he woke a month later, his first task was to calculate the total gains from the campaign.

The piles of demon materials were mountainous.

Abyss cores and parts suitable for Weapon Refinement were distributed to members for purification. The remainder was used to feed Long and the Blood Battle Spirit.

Furthermore, the haul included over 900 rare treasures and more than 50,000 Magic Tools.

The Magic Tools were largely garbage, far inferior to Wizard Tools and crudely constructed despite the quality of their materials. They could be fed to the Sword of Victory or melted down to forge new Wizard Tools or divine weapons.

As for the rare treasures, ninety percent were Level 6. Only three reached Level 9: the [Demon King Hall], the [Demon Shadow Bow], and the [Demon Ape Stick]. These were the rewards for Levi’s slaying of Level 9 Demons.

The Demon King Hall, similar to Aid the Vast Sea, was a ship-type treasure, though its speed was lacking. However, it housed an internal Inner Heaven and Earth world half the size of the Ancient Banyan Fairyland, making it a valuable asset for the organization.

The Demon Ape Stick was a heavy spiked club designed to magnify raw strength, possessing the [Bluntness] and [Solid] attributes. The Bluntness trait allowed it to interfere with the functionality of an opponent's weapon.

This treasure was best suited for those with powerful physiques. Since Gandaph possessed the superior [Plow Star] and the knights had their Bloodline Divine Weapons, Levi decided elsewhere.

After some deliberation, Levi chose to grant the treasure to young Lopez. His talent for combat skills was exceptional, and at Level 8 Middle Stage, he was a perfect fit for the weapon.

After all, Lopez had served him for a long time, constantly sparring with Emperor Mu and Gandaph; his hard work deserved recognition even if his merits were overlooked.

The final item, the [Demon Shadow Bow], was the premier rare treasure for those of the Shadow Faction.

Levi could utilize it as well, as the bow required Shadow Power and immense physical strength to operate. Levi’s Chaotic Power could mimic any Sect's energy, and his strength allowed him to draw the string with ease. Testing it within the Nightmare World proved its efficacy as a potent support weapon.

This treasure also carried a sense of nostalgia, reminding him of [max-level archery skills], the very first skill that altered his fate as a child.

Countless other resources and Truth Oddities were gathered, though they were too minor to detail.

...Four years passed.

Nora Calendar 1550.Blood Battle Year 1438.

Multiple demon-restricted zones had been razed, and several lost New Worlds were successfully reclaimed. The chaos following the third full-scale war had been entirely suppressed.
