Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2753: 564: Beyond Level-10, the Netherworld Ancestor Descends! Nora Ark!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Levi continues to strengthen his domain, overseeing the "Three Realms Plan" as the Ancient Banyan King Manna transforms the Fairyland into a divine realm using massive amounts of Starfall Remains. While dispatching Elena and Triss to the Blood Battle Auction with a vast fortune to secure rare resources, Levi remains behind to manage the growing influence of the Tower of Dawn. The organization gains a significant asset as the reincarnated Bode, a master of lich studies, joins to establish a dedicated research team for the School of Death. Meanwhile, Levi plays the role of matchmaker on Aurora Star, introducing the Sword King Dragon Namia to Marvin in hopes of expanding his dragon clan's future lineage.

...

The clock of destiny continued to tick.

Levi’s progress with the Black Emperor Dragon saw a massive surge, fueled by the potent essence of the Sword King Dragon bloodline. By the year 1522 of the Nora Calendar, he had successfully mastered the Triple Invisible Holy Realm, a feat that significantly boosted his speed attribute.

Throughout these years, Levi kept a vigilant eye on the shifting tides of the Blood Battle. The arrival of the Earth Demon Lord had changed the landscape, as swarms of gargoyles began to saturate the front lines. Their presence proved to be a persistent nuisance for various battle groups and independent demon-hunting squads.

However, this era allowed the Body Refining Academy and the Dusk Holy Temple to truly shine. Battalions of body-refining wizards, experts in the Purple Crystal Body Refining Technique, were dispatched to counter the gargoyle hordes. Real-world combat proved their superiority; the Purple Crystal Body Refining Wizards overwhelmed standard gargoyles with ease, with only the most gifted or elite demons able to mount a defense.

Simultaneously, the Eighteen Riders and their thousands of knights finally discovered a battlefield suited to their talents. Since gargoyles yielded significantly higher points than common Flame Demons or Fish Demons, the knights saw their positions on the Demon Slaying List skyrocket.

In the grand scheme, the gargoyle invasion was a double-edged sword. While it presented a crisis, it also offered a ladder. If the knights and body-refining wizards played their cards right, this conflict could be their stepping stone to legendary status!

Furthermore, the Secret Sword Flow proved its enduring strength. Despite being powered by spells, the secret sword style primarily manifested as physical destruction, making it highly effective.

On the front lines, Lord Victor stood as an undisputed True God, his sharp Sword Qi carving through everything in his path. Other figures like Gandaph, the Purgatory Demon Sword, their apprentice the Giant Spirit God Witch, and the Owl Flame Wizard also displayed magnificent power.

Nevertheless, a gap in raw numbers remained. Despite the high quality of the knights and body-refining wizards, they were still outnumbered by the endless gargoyle waves.

The heavy lifting of the war was carried by the Nora Wan Clan and the barbarian warriors. These fighters, naturally endowed with immense physical strength similar to the barbarians from the Heavenly World, had arrived to provide critical support.

Supported by these physical-path professions, the Earth Demon Lord’s grand plan to quickly crush Nora was halted. Every probing offensive launched by the demons ended in a bitter retreat.

...

A span of three years drifted by.

The Nora Calendar reached the year 1525.

It was now the 1413th year of the Blood Battle.

Within the desolate Land of Darkness, the Bottomless Abyss gaped like a colossal funnel. This region was a total dead zone, void of any surrounding civilizations or worlds.

When viewed closely, the Abyss resembled a cosmic-scale worm or a shifting mass of intestines. Its terrifying mouth, the Abyss Well, dragged in wandering life forms, shattered worlds, and cosmic debris to be digested. Its scale was so vast that it could swallow the entirety of the expanded Nora without effort.

In the freezing void, a ripple of Nether River Water appeared, casting the reflection of a stunningly beautiful woman. Dressed in gray robes with long hair flowing down her back, she was the Netherworld Ancestor.

She was flanked by six other powerhouses: Edmund, the Python God Barbarian Chief, the Daydreamer, the Frost Witch, the Nine Death Swordman, the Void Nether Emperor, and the Primordial Demon Lord. Together, they formed a group of seven legendary figures.

Nine Death Swordman broke the silence:

"Our intelligence suggests the Heavenly Will is likely imprisoned on the 659th layer of the Abyss. That domain is ruled by the Dark Spider Queen Rosa. However, she isn't alone. She is joined by Sal the Corrupt King from the 600th layer and Cole the Master of Ten Thousand Poisons from the 502nd layer... there are ten level-10 demons in total.

The chaotic Abyss Will currently blankets the entire realm. While we can use the Underworld Source River to strike directly at the 659th layer, the Abyss will certainly notice our intrusion. Fortunately, the Abyss Will is unique and rarely interferes directly.

The real threat is the Chaotic Servant from the 666th layer. As a level-11 entity, it acts as the proxy for the Abyss Will while the latter is dormant. Only another level-11 can match it, so the Netherworld Ancestor will have to stall it for a duration.

We must also keep an eye on our old rival, the Succubus Queen on the 600th layer; she will likely be alerted by the commotion. The 658th layer is currently vacant and poses no threat.

To summarize, we are looking at a potential confrontation with eleven level-10 entities. However, most of them are only at the early or middle stages of level 10 and shouldn't be too problematic.

The Heavenly Will itself remains a wild card. The demons must expend energy to keep it suppressed, which weakens them. If it manages to break free, we can escort it out via the Mother River.

In the absolute worst-case scenario where the Abyss Will itself wakes up, the Underworld Source River will back us up. But if those two supreme powers start a full-scale war, we must abandon the mission and retreat immediately."

A heavy tension settled over the group as they listened to Nine Death Swordman. This mission had the potential to reshape the entire Multidimensional Plane. Even for level-10 beings, a single mistake could be fatal.

Success, however, would turn the tide of the Blood Battle in Nora’s favor. The Underworld was determined to prevent the Abyss from consuming a power as significant as the Heavenly Will.

"Our side is prepared," Edmund stated firmly. "Let us begin."

The Void Nether Emperor added, "If things go south, I'll utilize the power of the Void to pull everyone out. Unless a level-11 intervenes, nothing can stop my escape."

The Netherworld Ancestor remained silent and stoic, her gaze fixed on the depths of the Abyss. With a sudden shimmer, the Nether River Water vanished. The daring rescue mission had commenced.

...

Abyss, the 659th Layer.

An enormous, shimmering web spanned across the horizon, sealing the entire sky and earth.

At the heart of this web sat a woman in an elegant black palace gown, her lips dark and her beauty lethal. Behind her, the terrifying, world-sized apparition of a monstrous spider loomed—the Dark Spider Queen. Opposite her was a repulsive figure in green robes, leaking a sickening stench and covered in rotting pustules: the Corrupt King.

Eight other positions on the web were occupied by the shadows of level-10 demons, each radiating a pressure that could make the soul tremble.

Using the web as a conduit, they maintained a complex and overwhelming suppression array. Their target, trapped in the center, was the Heavenly Will!

The Heavenly Will possessed no physical body; it existed as an ethereal force, currently manifesting as a gargantuan Thunder Giant Eye that radiated pure, celestial authority.
