Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1415 A Dream of Treason

Previously on Titan King: Ascension of the Giant...
Outside Azurehold in the Silverwood Realm, the Cetus Giants and aquatic kin clashed fiercely with the Cult of Four's invading forces, while Atlantis marshals Orion, Leonidas, and Kraken observed from afar. The Witch confronted them with veiled threats, demanding their commitment to the battle to prove alliance, but Leonidas and Orion countered with overwhelming Demigod auras, forcing her submission as Kraken played the mediator in their calculated display of power. She yielded supplies from Pontiff Valerius, securing Kraken's pledge to lead the vanguard. Meanwhile, in Blackstone City of the Titanion Realm, following the Bonfire Festival, Demigod Seraphina arrived and was graciously welcomed by Lilith into prepared chambers.

"Come on now. We're all family in this place. No need to stand on such formalities."

Honestly speaking, no matter how hard everyone worked to make things comfortable, the mood stayed fragile and uneasy.

Orion chose to break the ice. He moved ahead, slipping his left arm around Lilith and his right around Seraphina, leading them deeper into the heart of the keep.

Seraphina tried to wriggle free, a spark of rebellion in her gaze, but Orion wouldn't budge. His grip felt like steel, his fingers boldly cupping her breast in a dominant, owning way that left no room for debate. Seeing that fighting back was pointless, Seraphina fired off a scorching look at him, her face turning a deep red, yet she let him keep her close.

And just like that, the haughty Seraphina settled into life in Blackstone City.

The following days melted into a haze of luxurious pleasure for Orion. His evenings were filled with switching between his companions—stunning women who not only turned heads with their beauty but also ruled at the top of the power ladder across the continent. It was the kind of existence that would make anyone green with jealousy.

Blackstone City, Eastern Caverns.

Since the Stoneheart Horde had set up base in Moonshadow Valley, these underground tunnels had belonged to the Cave Spiders, acting as one of their key breeding grounds.

With Orion watching over the city from above and protected by her own offspring, Lorelia rested without her usual wariness. Feeling secure allowed her to sink into profound sleep; and that deep slumber brought on vivid dreams.

"Hello!"

A young, innocent voice rang through Lorelia's thoughts.

The sleeping Broodmother, who had worn a relaxed, satisfied look, jolted awake in a heartbeat.

In the dream world, Lorelia's eyes fluttered open. A fuzzy outline had materialized next to her. The shape was tiny, like a young child barely starting to toddle around.

"Who are you?"

Schwing!

With her words, a wickedly sharp spider limb shot out from her back. Its sickle edge hovered right at the neck of the indistinct small form. Lorelia stayed on high alert; quietly, via their soul connection, she was already reaching out to her master, Orion.

"Hello! I'm Zerin."

"Big Sister, what's your name? Want to play?"

The outline's tone carried pure innocence and simplicity. He appeared to grasp certain ideas, but his knowledge came across as patchy and scattered.

"Big Sister? Zerin? Never heard that name before," Lorelia shot back, her inner voice laced with fake warmth. "I'm Lorelia. So, kid, why are you showing up here?"

As a master of dream-woven mystical arts, Lorelia knew precisely her location. This realm was under her control.

"Why am I here?" The shape hesitated. "I'm not sure. I chased after a glow."

Zerin looked puzzled. Lorelia had her queries, but he had his own too.

"Zerin, tell me... what's your goal?"

Lorelia grinned, pulling back the lethal spider appendage. Her features softened into a captivating, soothing mask meant to lower defenses.

"Growth. Ascension. To grant freedom to all insectoids. To seize greater territory for the Swarm!"

Zerin responded instantly. These commands were etched deep into his core, his essence, his entire being. His life revolved around advancing the insect race.

Lorelia was an insectoid—a mighty Broodmother. Zerin picked up on this right away, so he dropped any barriers toward her. To him, she was an obvious partner. A Broodmother paired with a Larva King—their ascent would be rapid and inevitable.

"Wow! Zerin, that's incredible!" Lorelia burst out, clapping her hands. Then her face twisted into a heartbreaking pout. "I crave freedom for our people as well... but I can't make it happen."

"You better leave, Zerin. This spot is risky."

She jabbed a shaky finger at the dim, glowing contract mark on her brow, marking her bondage.

"Sister Lorelia, join me," Zerin pleaded, his words brimming with real worry. "I'll get you out of this. We can head to the Wormholes. Protective barriers there can break most binding contracts."

Zerin took Lorelia's warning as genuine, much like his own care for her. He yearned to rescue her, to pull her into the Wormholes' shelter where the contract's hold could snap.

"Does such a haven truly exist?"

"Yes! That's my home."

Horde Hall, Master Bedroom.

Orion's eyes flew wide. He carefully unwound from the tangle of Seraphina's and Lilith's arms.

Seraphina shifted, her eyes cracking open to meet Orion's lips in a kiss. She returned it briefly before rolling away and slipping back into slumber. Orion then pressed a kiss to Lilith, who was stirring too.

"Lorelia's dealing with a minor issue. I've got to look in on her."

Lilith gave a nod, getting up at once to assist with his clothes. Dressed and set, she exited the room to handle the Stoneheart Horde's daily operations.

Seraphina, meanwhile, enjoyed her rest without interruption from anyone.

It was a tricky equilibrium.

Reflecting on Seraphina—and the fierce passion of recent nights—even Lilith, born a succubus, sensed a warm rush. It was mind-boggling how a high-and-mighty Demigod like her could act so... ravenously between the sheets.

Luckily, Seraphina's arrogance ensured she lacked for nothing. Whatever the Stoneheart Horde provided, she already owned in abundance. Having it all meant she saw no point in clashing with Lilith over rank—it was below her dignity.

They had always been on the same level from the beginning. If anything, Seraphina's vast strength lent her an aura of aloof godliness, like she didn't partake in mortal sustenance. Lilith harbored a blend of closeness, trepidation, and respect toward her.

The interplay among the women was, to put it mildly, captivating.

Eastern Underground Caverns.

Orion skipped teleporting. He strode into the tunnels with a composed, even pace.

At the primary nest's doorway, Lorelia waited, accompanied by two Alpha-tier spider attendants.

"Master!"

The moment Orion arrived, Lorelia lunged toward him, craving her usual embrace.

"Act properly."

Orion hooked his finger and tapped her forehead with a quick flick.

"Ow! Master doesn't care for Lorelia anymore!"

She pulled back, clutching her brow in theatrical agony. "Lorelia's rejected... Lorelia has no home... Lorelia's so miserable... Sob, sob..."

Orion shook his head with a sigh.

"Fine, cut it out. At least pretend to be a Queen around your followers?"

He extended his hand, softly massaging the spot he'd hit.

"Mmm..." Lorelia pressed into his touch, rubbing her cheek against it like a feline, relishing the comforting sensation from her early days. "Lorelia ignores them. If they bother me, I'll devour them."

"Stop that. Let's get to the point," Orion stated, drawing his hand away. His voice turned firm.

An unidentified presence had slipped into the underground depths, and it occurred directly beneath his watch without alerting his instincts.

He refused to chalk it up to mere chance.
