Princess Davina's expression contorted while observing Lilliana's playful advances toward Rex.
To make matters worse, Rex appeared to enjoy the attention.
It was obvious from the way his gaze wandered over Lilliana's figure, and he even gulped noticeably several times. When Rex started getting rattled by Lilliana's latest remark, Princess Davina lost her patience and blasted the cave wall apart using pure force.
"Did you forget I'm here?" Her tone cut like the keenest edge. "Stop flirting!"
Rex shifted his attention elsewhere, clearing his throat in embarrassment.
Truth be told, he'd momentarily blanked out on Princess Davina's presence.
Meanwhile, Lilliana lifted her hands in defeat, aware that she may have pushed too far.
"Calm down, sister. He's just a guy," she said with a light laugh. "We've always shared everything growing up."
Princess Davina's wolf ears pressed flat against her head as she growled, "He's mine."
"Alright..." Lilliana splashed some water her way. "If you say so, sister."
Recognizing the exact glance Lilliana had shot at Rex before, Princess Davina waded through the pool. Her soaked, lengthy hair flowed behind like a delicate silk curtain while she approached Rex, positioning herself next to him and folding her arms quietly.
Their shoulders were separated by mere inches now.
"What are you doing?" Rex inquired.
"What does it look like?" Princess Davina clicked her tongue irritably. "Perhaps I need to stay near because some guy can't control himself with his fiancée standing right there."
"Mom probably skipped teaching you about this sooner, sister," Lilliana hid her smile behind her hand as she chuckled. "Guys aren't like us. They act more on raw urges, like wild animals. It's normal for his gaze to drift toward those better suited for bearing children."
"So you're calling me too thin?" Princess Davina's gaze sharpened intensely.
Yes, Lilliana boasted far more voluptuous shapes than her, but that seemed unfair.
Lilliana had children already, whereas she did not.
"No," Lilliana denied, shaking her head before jabbing a finger toward Rex. "But you're clueless about his real desires."
"Let's drop it," Rex muttered, throat clearing again. "It's irrelevant."
"No, we should discuss it. I need to understand," Princess Davina nibbled her lip. "Tell me, sister."
Lilliana rested her arms along the rim and rested her cheek on them, grinning as Rex squirmed visibly. It was amusing to recall this was the same warrior who'd demolished the Sky City alone. "Beyond him being a werewolf and worn out from seizing the Sky City, he's buzzing with untamed strength at the moment. A conqueror like him... carries a basic urge to release that surge of power. It's instinctive for him to find a partner who can balance out that overflowing vitality.
"Yes, he's accomplished his goal. Yet his inner self requires... healing." She went on.
Naturally, Princess Davina dismissed it all.
It came off as nonsense her sister invented just to rile her up.
However, glancing over at Rex, she realized Lilliana hit the mark perfectly.
He hid his feelings behind a calm expression, arching his eyebrows. "She's spouting nonsense. Ignore her."
"No, she's spot on..." Princess Davina fully faced him, seizing his chin to tilt his head side to side. "You're truly tense. See how flushed your cheeks are." Her palm then trailed to his torso, sensing the rapid pulse. "You can hide your breathing, but not that racing heart."
"The steam's doing it," Rex fibbed, brushing her hand off. "Not what you think."
"Just assist him, sister," Lilliana snickered, delighted by the scene. "He's on the verge of exploding."
"What—?!" Princess Davina's cheeks burned red. Her poised, distant demeanor vanished completely. "You mean... that? How could I? We're not wed yet, and I want my first to happen in... well, you know," She waved toward their surroundings. "Somewhere fitting, not here. A bed would be ideal, at minimum."
Fluster overwhelmed her.
The most she'd shared with Rex was a single kiss.
Nothing beyond that level of intimacy had occurred.
No wonder, given how chaotic things had been up until recently.
"Hands will do," Lilliana cooed slyly. "Want a demonstration?"
"No!" Princess Davina snapped. "Absolutely not!"
Clenching her jaw, she faced Rex. "Do you actually want this from me?"
"Not at first," Rex replied, voice strained. His eyes locked on Princess Davina, watching her form bob above the water during their argument, exposing nearly all. "But after this chat... yes, definitely."
"How did you handle it before?" She questioned, curiosity genuine. "Just endure it?"
"I released plenty back in the Forsaken Tower," Rex said with a shrug.
He saw no point in hiding it.
"Forsaken Tower?" Her stare turned piercing. "House of Aurelius?"
"Yes," Rex confirmed with a nod. "April took care of my urges."
Her expression shifted in a flash.
With a snap of her fingers, Princess Davina formed a lengthy bench in the water for Rex.
They'd all been upright in the pool, and she figured standing would be awkward for him during this. "Sit," She directed, hesitating briefly while sneaking a peek—down at Rex's groin area. "This is new for me, so keep expectations low."
She scooted nearer to Rex until her shoulder pressed against his torso.
With Rex's arms extended outward, she slipped easily into his personal area.
Averting her gaze, she extended her arm tentatively until her fingertips grazed something firm.
The contact made her jolt, yet she swiftly tried again.
The idea that April had satisfied Rex's desires ignited fury in her veins. She'd vowed to outdo whatever April provided, so backing out wasn't an option. The surface concealed everything.
Green and misty vapors rose from the water, effectively obscuring what lay below.
When her palm at last grasped what she believed was Rex's—she caught him inhaling sharply and holding it. Through their contact, she sensed his entire frame tense rigidly at her gentle hold.
'So... this is it...' Her mind raced. She fixed her sight on the liquid, as if attempting to see beneath. 'First time feeling a man's part, but is it possible for it to feel this massive? My fingers can hardly encircle it.'
"Eurghh..." Rex let out a grunt from the abrupt firmness.
"Easy there, sister," Lilliana observed his response—eyes sharp and attentive. "Tone down your strength to his level. Wouldn't want to damage it, right?"
Princess Davina dialed her energy back to Eternal Spirit tier.
At once, the discomfort morphed into bliss, evident as Rex's tension eased.
"Slide upward," Lilliana advised, leading her younger sibling into this unfamiliar realm of maturity. Her focus had always been on governance and power growth, which was evident. "Then downward. Reach the root. Keep it gentle and steady."
As the delight mounted, Rex's limb dropped into the pool.
He clasped Princess Davina's midsection, digits pressing into her lush, smooth flesh.
The grasp startled Princess Davina. A jolt like lightning raced from the point of contact, surging through her beneath the skin intensely. She glanced over to meet Rex's stare—intense, burning focus she'd never witnessed in him.
They were incredibly near now.
Rex moved to capture her mouth, but shyness made her dodge at the final instant.
Undeterred, he eagerly planted kisses along her throat.
Strangely, her innate aroma seemed more alluring than before. Perhaps as a Silverstar, her form now released a fragrance to draw the Alpha's preference. Either way, it proved utterly captivating.
This time, Princess Davina stayed put. She brushed her locks aside, stifling a soft cry while Rex's mouth blazed a trail along her throat's curve. Logic suggested a mattress would suit this better, yet a stronger, pressing drive cautioned against halting him—it'd be a grave error.
She couldn't fathom why her instincts urged this.
A stronger voice within craved for Rex to continue.
Heat radiated from Rex's form.
Not from his power or presence, but a carnal warmth her feminine senses detected clearly.
The intensity curled her toes and clenched her legs.
When Lilliana signaled Princess Davina to quicken the pace, Rex's frame trembled at last.
"Erggh..." A deep rumble echoed from Rex's core—as he relished her flavor. His palm boldly ascended to seize her bosom at the height of his release. Though not as ample as Gistella's, they felt tauter, more richly shaped—a ideal, soft heft molding to his grip perfectly.
Princess Davina's fingers shoved at his weakly, but it meant nothing to him.
He pressed his features into her throat, basking in the lingering bliss.
Unable to fend him off, Princess Davina withdrew her hand from the depths and examined it.
Naturally, the liquid had cleansed Rex's essence, yet the firm, pulsing rhythm against her skin persisted in memory. A ghostly beat, unyielding and strange. This sensation was utterly novel to her. It clung, etched into her like a debut hunt's recall.
She sensed it wouldn't fade quickly.
Despite her clumsy handling of his length, it marked a satisfying beginning. Rex extended his free hand seeking further—but Princess Davina had already shifted back. "Better now? We need shelter if we're staying longer."
Rex nearly objected, but Lilliana interjected first.
"Hurry and exit, or risk pregnancy," She joked.
"What?!" Princess Davina erupted from the water, sending sprays flying, and positioned herself at the edge. "Does it work like that? Can it move through the water? I always assumed conception required full intimacy."
Lilliana erupted in laughter. "How naive are you, sister? Just kidding, obviously."
"You jest excessively," Princess Davina composed herself, irked.
Her elder sibling relished poking at her inexperience here.
Under usual circumstances, Lilliana wouldn't have such a chance.
Rex's presence revealed Princess Davina's vulnerability and purity.
"I'll scout for refuge from the Black Rift," Princess Davina evaporated the moisture with vital force instantly, then dressed once more. "Join me, sister. Let him recover some. He exerted himself greatly yesterday."
"Lead the way," Lilliana dismissed her casually. "My Spiritual Veins feel injured. This bath is essential."
Princess Davina agreed with a nod and departed.
She avoided glancing back at Rex during her swift exit.
Conversely, Rex watched her retreating figure, desire barely contained.
Being solely passive, particularly in such a mild encounter, didn't suit him and soured his mood. He yearned to overwhelm her, but awareness dawned that her lack of know-how made pushing unwise.
Rex tsked, clutching the pool's rim firmly until it crumbled to gravel.
His jaw tightened, sinews flexing, fully aware a single peak fell short for him, particularly post-Blood Moon.
As if orchestrated by destiny, his gaze connected with Lilliana's.
A grin lit her face now. Her sly lashes batted triumphantly as events unfolded ideally.
"Checkmate," She murmured with excitement.
In that moment, the pieces aligned perfectly.
Rex ground his teeth. He hadn't anticipated this snare.
