The Invincible Full-Moon System Chapter 1810: Monstrous Awareness in Anarchy

Previously on The Invincible Full-Moon System...
Rex confronted the White Mask within the Black Rift, offering the Crown Embryo to secure its alliance in destroying the empire. The monarch agreed, temporarily empowering Rex as a Voidal Prince through his Sable Physique, granting enhanced strength and command over savage voidal forces, including a massive serpent. Riding the beast skyward, Rex tore through the royal bubble to provoke the Sky People, shattering the world above and unleashing Black Rain. Emperor Dominar erupted in horror, unleashing his full Primordial Spirit to intercept while freeing the nobles, as chaos engulfed the collapsing palace—Althea freed herself to aid her family amid the fray, and Amanir worked to rescue April. Outside the border, Princess Davina bore witness to the anarchic ascent, her plans disrupted by the escalating cataclysm.

The upper barrier of the royal bubble halted their advance.

Obeying the White Mask's directive, the serpent raised its head high, inverting Rex's position.

A dense orb of power formed in its jaws before it hurled the blast ahead.

Boom—!

That single strike ripped open a gap in the royal bubble. It wasn't huge, but sufficient for the serpent to slip through. The breach began to mend, though the serpent had already escaped into the open. Immediately after, twin surges of voidal energy blasted outward.

A cluster of pale mist assembled to intercept the rays.

However, empowered by the Crown Embryo, the White Mask's voidal force overwhelmed the barrier.

Boom—!

A deafening blast echoed through the air.

With that, the Black Rain descended.

<Notice: the user is under the effect of the Black Rain’s blessing!>

<All stats are increased moderately, and regeneration effects are significantly amplified!>

<Notice: the user’s berserk stat has reached 90%!>

<92%...!>

<98%...!>

<100%!>

<Notice: the user is overwhelmed with bloodlust.>

Rex burst into wild laughter.

Never before had he experienced such exhilaration.

The Blood Moon's blessing acted like vital sustenance for every fiber of his being. The Black Rain awakened a hidden urge within him. And the surging rage warmed his form delightfully, compelling him to release it via unrestrained chuckles.

This rush surpassed any sensation he'd known.

From above the clouds, over a dozen cannon barrels etched with arcane runes surfaced.

Warning alarms blared from every fiber of Rex's instincts.

"Halt this now!!" The emperor's choked cry came from below. "Let's discuss it!" His voice strained from yelling so fiercely—but the sight of those weapons filled him with dread. "Those are Sky Watchers! Their combined fire could cripple a Voidal Monarch! You won't make it out alive!"

"Like always, the defeated ones love to negotiate," Rex bellowed with rough amusement. He flipped off the emperor, "Try to grab me if you're able, bastard!" His eyes shifted to the cannons and the Sky People. A few had spotted the disturbance and approached.

Differing from typical Spirits, these towered larger with elemental sparks dancing over their bodies.

Lightning crackled on some. Molten lava oozed from others. And a few shone brightly like miniature suns.

"I am Rex Silverstar, knight of the Haeltara Empire!" Rex proclaimed with boundless joy. With their focus captured, he could now ignite the empire's downfall. "I've come to reclaim a key figure from the empire, stolen by you wretched folk!"

"Return him now!" His shout boomed as bolts of lightning flashed.

Emperor Dominar's eyes widened in shock at the words.

He couldn't fathom Rex's audacity in defaming the empire so boldly.

In the following instant, the skies reacted.

Not via thunderclaps, but a collective, ground-shaking snap. It resembled the fusion of twelve lightning bolts into one. From the heavenly fleet—streams of devastating blue light raced out. The mere force of it made the atmosphere quiver.

For a brief, suspended moment, the whole heavens blazed in merciless blue radiance.

Within that harsh, unshadowed glow, the outlines of Rex and the serpent aligned exactly where the rays aimed. A dark mask appeared on Rex's face as he clutched the serpent tighter, prepared to seize control.

Rex invoked the Minor Law of Foresight.

With Nivellen safe, he wasted no time activating this ability.

His gaze ignited with a black shimmer.

From the front of every approaching ray, a streak of pure dark shadow extended forward, mapping its destined route through the sky like a scripted doom. Rex perceived them all—the fatal web of his destruction, sketched in darkness prior to the light's arrival.

A grin spread across his face. How thrilling.

Drawing on his lightning-quick reactions, he twisted the serpent into a swift, ferocious maneuver.

The serpent dodged left, then right, executing a rapid zigzag evasion.

The rays hurtled by.

So near that their scorching heat brushed his skin and the sharp ozone bit his breath.

Yet none of that lethal glow grazed them.

Thus, the initial barrage was dodged.

"Is that your best shot?!" Rex flung one arm wide, mocking the heavens. "I'm only warming up!!"

"RAARGH!!"

From beneath, a roar erupted.

Rex peered back—and witnessed Emperor Dominar's body shuddering in a green glow. Below, the city crumbled as he conjured a vast enchanted garden of eternal greenery. This was the true weapon cache of the Spirit Emperor.

Building-sized flora whipped forward. Scores of spiked tendrils surged like shadowy wooden limbs.

Sunflowers unfurled and unleashed pulses of vital force.

After handling the Sky Watchers' assault, Rex lacked the moment to counter.

This dual assault from opposite sides might even surpass his extraordinary agility.

Roar—!

A savage bellow ripped from the White Mask's core.

Its strength swelled, gathering around the massive serpent to create a gleaming, see-through shield of shadow. Then, from that veil of night, countless—perhaps thousands—of Voidal Pawns and Knights burst forth. They didn't strike but stacked atop each other, forming a thick, animated outer layer that shielded their rear.

A barrier of meat and void took shape.

The rays pounded the barrier while the serpent bolstered its frame to withstand.

Rex's blood-red eyes lifted toward the cannons.

Each was reloading for the next salvo, sure to obliterate them.

His primal senses urged him to neutralize one threat.

Boom—!

Boom—!

The lower blasts hit first, slamming into the meaty shield.

Dozens of Voidal Pawns—and Knights—perished per hit, but fresh ones emerged from the void, filling the gaps. Sacrificing his spawn's forms was a cruel tactic—from the White Mask—but undeniably potent.

Still, it couldn't endure indefinitely.

Emperor Dominar recognized this and unleashed more blasts.

Meanwhile, the ebony vines chased fiercely, drawing nearer.

Though he sensed Rex couldn't sustain this forever, the unyielding push baffled him. The harm was inflicted—he'd effectively pitted the Sky People against the empire, a divide words could scarcely mend.

Rex ought to have launched a final blow and fled to security.

Yet he pressed upward.

'Could he truly have a path to the Sky People...?’ Emperor Dominar swallowed hard. ’Impossible.’

Swoosh—!

Emperor Dominar blinked and sharpened his focus as Rex rocketed from the meat shield.

By reflex, he directed the ebony vines to seize Rex.

At that instant, Rex thrust his palms out, summoning a enormous red orb.

It resembled a duplicate blood moon.

His Blood Moon Echo pulsed with vitality to call forth this red sphere. The White Mask channeled voidal power into it, charging it with immense force. Even the space around the orb's rim fractured.

Beyond the orb lay what appeared as an ocean of blood.

"Blood Moon Genesis: Ravenous Maw of Magna!!"

ROAR—!

A colossal wolf beast's head burst from the red ocean, jaws stretched wide. From Emperor Dominar's view, it blanketed the sky. And seething from its hide was voidal energy that pressed even upon the emperor.

The scene tinted in blends of red, violet, and green.

Time stretched, prolonging the instant into endless duration.

Emperor Dominar's frame tensed like hammered steel. His elegant features twisted in frenzy as the Soul Artifact on his fingers quivered fiercely. Not from weakness, but overload, as he funneled floods of vital power into his strikes.

Pure might scorched his Spiritual Veins like molten bolts.

A crushing force weighed on him, an unbearable burden from Rex’s Echo Genesis.

He far outmatched Rex. He could crush Rex effortlessly. This defied reason.

This direct clash would end in the emperor's victory.

"USURPER!!"

BOOM!

The world trembled as the ebony vines smashed into Magna.

Light erupted first, a devouring multicolored burst that engulfed the heavens. It submerged all in dazzling floods of hues. Then, a pause in the hush before the noise hit. It crashed like the mightiest thunder, rattling the planet's core.

A blast wave surged in a flawless, widening circle of raw ruin.

The soil fractured like brittle ice. Distant mountain chains pulverized, summits evaporated, bases torn asunder. The terrain split in a network of chasms delving into the depths.

Life faced no mercy either.

Whether voidal beasts or humans. Whether escaping or resisting. All vanished.

For leagues around, only drifting dust lingered, carried on a raging gale of sheer might, and purged by the Black Rain. Emperor Dominar’s stare stayed locked skyward.

Despite the searing glare, he held firm and alert.

A streak of haze shot from the dust cloud like a phantom.

It outpaced the emperor's head turn.

Rex appeared with a wicked smirk—twirling in flight. He was unscathed. Or rather, any injuries from the clash had mended instantly. This sudden dash came from his Voidal Moonflow Acceleration.

The Red Dawn of Kaiser buzzed with energy.

And in an upward punch, Rex’s eyes flared with a crimson, dazzling gleam.

Emperor Dominar steeled for the next strike. Though he'd never witnessed Rex in battle, his vast combat wisdom signaled the threat. He lifted his arms in a solid defense. But instead arrived the piercing white flash that stripped his sight.

His thoughts ached sharply.

A foreign fury boiled within him like a bursting peak.

In that instant of darkness, reality faded.

And upon regaining vision, response came too late.

A scarlet curve had struck— a crushing blow to his left that twisted his body with the crack of shattering plate and snapping bone. He caught Rex's frenzied cackle as he rotated and dropped.

"How long has it been, Dominar?!"

Emperor Dominar heard Rex’s taunt reverberate amid the spin.

He tumbled, borne by the force.

"How long since death and ruin loomed so near?! So what if you've endured ages? You've wasted them ruling. All that reigning... It's dulled your edge!"

Bang—!

Spit flew from Emperor Dominar’s lips as a golden ring bashed his flank.

It hit his kidney squarely, doubling him over.

In that beat, Emperor Dominar realized: Rex’s perception was utterly savage.

In a seamless, ruinous flash, Rex unleashed a three-part barrage.

He first surged from the haze via Voidal Moonflow Acceleration. He also hurled the Aegis of Moon Sentinel at the final moment to snag the emperor’s attention. Before Emperor Dominar could adjust, the psychic hit connected.

He deployed the Weaver of Madness.

A technique that thrives on the gap between his mental strength and the foe's.

In the Spirit Realm, it measured against spiritual reserves.

Under normal conditions, it would fail. But aided by the White Mask, his spiritual reserves ballooned—almost matching the emperor’s. This allowed the surge of mental turmoil to slam into Dominar’s psyche, disrupting his concentration for a vital instant.

That instant sufficed for Inevitable Death.

A slash of packed power formed and pierced, sinking deep.

And to cap it, the tossed Aegis of Moon Sentinel smashed into the emperor.

Four actions. Dual fronts. Single moment.

‘How many fights has he endured to sharpen such cunning?! Who does he battle?!’ Emperor Dominar stared at Rex in total astonishment. ‘What existence has he led to now?!’
