The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2386 The limit of the Third Realm

From the heavens above, the purple cannon plummeted like the very essence of cosmic annihilation—only to disappear completely into the left eye of the Scarlet King.
A heavy silence enveloped the shadowy metropolis.
The surviving pair of Curse Eaters remained rooted in place, stunned beyond belief. Reason insisted their assault couldn't just evaporate that way, yet what their vision showed them was undeniable.
Suddenly, a faint pop resounded amid the debris as Cain's left eye burst open in a gush of crimson, with his right following suit mere moments afterward. This abrupt ruin sparked a wave of dark glee in their thoughts.
Yet prior to any chance for celebration, a broad grin stretched over the gore-drenched visage of the Scarlet King.
Victory was his.
Bako's gaze bulged wide when he sensed the might he'd released surging back right before his torso. The rerouted force detonated with savage fury, unleashing a colossal surge of pure destruction that swallowed his body whole and bathed the gloomy urban sprawl in blinding brilliance.
Sozing gaped at the man-made star in sheer dread.
The instant after, a spectral silhouette burst forth from the blast.
It hurtled directly into Sozing's frame.
A torrent of strength flooded his veins. His physique was compelled to harden, a sharp edge materializing on his right forearm while luminous violet veins crawled over his whole form. The Immortal Knight from the Tenth Empyrean World faltered, grief and agony contorting his features.
Yet another fragment of his essence was lost.
For Sozing's misfortune, grief would have to wait.
The binding gravity that held Cain snapped at last, allowing the Scarlet King to ascend gradually from the earth. His eyelids stayed shut, rivulets of blood trickling over his countenance, but the Eye of Gluttony persisted, its consuming stare fixed entirely on Sozing.
The spectacle chilled to the bone.
Disregarding the crimson mask on his skin, Cain advanced steadily, one foot after the other, as the fabricated orb of light raged overhead in the devastated streets.
"So when one of you gives their life," Cain stated evenly, "they offer you a short surge of strength—even right on the brink of oblivion. Good to remember."
No compassion or leniency colored his tone toward the Immortal Knight.
Hostility defined the bond between the Tenth Empyrean World and the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. Cain would strike down without pause any intruder from there, and given the chance, he'd reduce it to cinders entirely.
Sozing drew in a steadying breath and balled his hands. The radiant purple veins throbbed with vigor as he met the gaze of the nearing Scarlet King.
Electric bolts crackled through the obscured urban expanse while their presences clashed repeatedly, intensifying with each passing moment.
In a flash, they disappeared.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
As their knuckles met, the whole metropolis quaked fiercely. Structures crumbled in cascades, crumbling under the colossal might released by the warring duo. Limbs blurred in astonishing velocity, shock pulses and rending flashes detonating everywhere.
A vicious slash ripped open Sozing's torso.
Ignoring the agony, he thrust his hand into Cain's midsection, unleashing a ruinous pulse. Scarlet King's lips sprayed blood as his innards quivered from the impact, yet he held firm, jaw set tight while retaliating with a savage blow targeted at Sozing's visage.
In the final moment, the Curse Eater intercepted the fist with his flat hand.
Its inner force got nullified.
Coldness filled Sozing's stare as he hoisted the Scarlet King skyward and smashed him down with ruthless might. Without pause, he delivered a mighty boot that propelled the Scarlet King smashing past shattered edifices, tearing through multiple ruins until he scraped to a stop.
Cain ground his teeth sensing fractures spiderwebbing inside him.
"Damn it," he mused. "His might and versatility skyrocketed from that recent merge. His force and quickness surpass
my own."
Though Cain had kept a composed front all through the fight, the Curse Eater's prowess was genuinely astounding—matching his mixed lineage's peak in the Crimson World.
No leisure for reflection.
Sozing materialized right overhead, his splayed hand directed below while firing a push wave of inconceivable power. The ground dipped profoundly with Cain in the middle, carving a vast depression that could cradle a plummeting star.
Resolve blazed in Sozing's eyes.
He tilted his edged limb down and plunged into the pit a
moment after, bearing velocity fierce enough to rend a realm apart.
Right when the Immortal Knight poised for the fatal strike, two words rang out.
"Fifteen Gear."
At once, the Scarlet King faded from sight.
Ere Sozing finished his plunge, a strike hammered his rear
with impact so brutal it threatened to snap his backbone. This marked just the start.
Ere he could steady, yet another hit connected, flinging him
aloft. Then, as he approached the barrier's peak, he got hurled
back down.
The violet veins on Sozing's skin throbbed wildly,
driving his changing traits to the edge as they fought to grasp the chaos. He got tossed every which way, failing to find balance.
At length, his vision adjusted.
There stood Cain.
The Scarlet King's frame hummed at a horrifying rate, his shape flickering vaguely like his particles strained against the frenzy. The atmosphere wailed nearby, igniting in flames, warped by velocity and pressure.
"This move strains his form to the utmost boundary of the Third
Realm," Sozing grasped with foreboding. "A strain he can't sustain long."
Sozing grit his teeth and tried to fight back.
Then Cain seized him from the rear.
With cataclysmic velocity and drive, the Scarlet King slammed Sozing headlong into the earth. The Immortal Knight thrashed to escape, but to no avail.
They hurtled earthward with force so vast it appeared set to bore straight through the heart of the shadowed city.
