The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2330 Devouring a Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod

As Zanko slammed into the earth, crimson blazes consumed the nearby energy before spiraling into his form. A colossal detonation followed, hammering the Neo-Angel even further into the soil. The Imperium Dream had grown significantly more potent following the evolution of Cain's soul force and True Name, allowing its destructive essence and raw power to manifest in a much more lethal capacity than ever before.
Cain tightened his fingers around Sky Devourer, prepared to maintain his relentless assault.
Abruptly, his gaze sharpened.
He pivoted violently to the flank just as a scarlet solar eruption surged toward him, manifesting as a thick pillar of plasma so fervent it seemed capable of liquefying the firmament itself. Hanzo was the source of the strike, the Neo-Angel pouring his entire being into this lone attack. For a fleeting moment, Cain thought of employing Redirection. However, as the heat drew near, a sense of profound unease struck him. The plasma possessed a lingering consciousness, behaving as if it were a sentient, predatory entity. This was undoubtedly Hanzo's unique ability.
Should Cain permit those blazes to enter his frame, they would shred him from within before he had the chance to transmute them in his stomach.
Drawing a calm breath, Cain gathered scarlet flames along the edge of Sky Devourer.
He met the challenge with nothing but pure, unadulterated strength.
With a single, decisive swing, he cleaved the pillar of red plasma straight down the center.
Hanzo ground his teeth in frustration upon seeing his ultimate technique severed with such ease. Refusing to concede, he pushed even more energy into the fire, trying to drown Cain through raw output. Unfortunately for the Neo-Angel, Cain did not just continue to sunder the pillar; he began to advance. Step by step, he bridged the gap, his aura oppressive and unyielding. When less than ten feet remained between them, Cain's Chaos Wings erupted. Massive surges of power were siphoned from the environment into his body, providing a brief but volatile explosion of velocity and power. In a flash, he blurred forward, appearing right in front of Hanzo.
Hanzo tried to back away—but his reactions were too slow.
With a strike infused with every bit of Cain's power, Sky Devourer lopped off the Neo-Angel's left forearm. The limb tumbled through the air, leaving a trail of gore and fire in its wake.
Agony flooded Hanzo’s senses, yet his concentration remained unbroken. His eyes shimmered with icy determination and burning passion as his severed limb suddenly detonated into dozens of serpents composed of red fire. These beasts struck at Cain from every angle, hissing with murderous intent.
The Scarlet King felt a momentary spark of admiration for the Neo-Angel's tenacity and skill. No matter how much Cain desired to press his frontal attack, he was forced to address the immediate danger.
Sky Devourer clashed with the fire serpents repeatedly, scarlet destruction erasing the red heat that gave them life. Cain obliterated the entities with incredible speed—but it wasn't fast enough.
Zanko surged back into the fight.
The Neo-Angel’s chest was a ruin of shattered bone and charred meat. Despite this, his Salvation Incarnation wings blazed with renewed vigor. Zanko gripped the very fabric of the sky, warping and twisting space around his arm to bolster his power before launching a catastrophic blow toward Cain.
The Scarlet King barely managed to bring his blade up into a defensive posture.
The force and gravity behind Zanko’s fist were staggering. It felt as if the heavens themselves were collapsing and crashing into Cain’s chest. Even with his peerless physique, Cain could not entirely withstand the brunt of it. He was driven into the ground with violent force, the collision rattling the earth and sending tremors across the entire warzone.
Less than a second later, Hanzo aimed his stump toward the crater where Cain had fallen. He ignited his very lifeblood, discharging a deluge of red fire that burned more intensely than a star. The blaze drowned the area, triggering a massive explosion that consumed everything in the vicinity.
Zanko and Hanzo hovered above the ruin, so drained that simply staying in the air required a monumental effort. Nevertheless, their gazes remained fixed with cold resolve and unshakable intent.
It was evident that this pair had not attained their status through fortune. They had tempered their power through sheer willpower and countless life-and-death struggles where they risked everything.
That synchronized strike should have been sufficient to eradicate any standard Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod.
Yet, the two Neo-Angels did not drop their guard for even a moment.
Their eyes stayed sharp as they prepared to descend and confirm the total annihilation of the Scarlet King’s body and soul.
Before they could act, however, slender purple lines materialized in the air around them.
The World Matrix was activated, and in an instant, total darkness engulfed the world.
A wave of terror and dread, unlike anything the Neo-Angels had ever felt, washed over them. Unfortunately, by the time they grasped the situation, the window for escape had closed.
They were imprisoned within Chaos Arts.
Before a counter-move could be made, a voice resonated through the void.
"Chaos of Worldbreak: Ragnarök."
Immediately, a solitary speck of light ignited within the darkness. It expanded at a frantic pace, becoming a massive arc that tore the shadows asunder and raced toward the pair.
Hanzo, the master of flames, was hit only by the peripheral force of the technique. A deep gash ripped across his torso, mangling his organs, but he managed to cling to life.
Zanko was not as lucky.
Ragnarök passed through him completely, cutting through his toughened skin and bisecting his body. His vitals spilled out as his massive frame gave way. Although Neo-Angels possessed incredible durability and special traits, they lacked the gift of instantaneous healing. Being sliced in half was a terminal injury.
Zanko was given no time to feel the pain.
Before he could process his state, Cain grabbed him by the head and flooded his mind with the concentrated power of the Imperium Dream, plunging the Neo-Angel into a profound coma.
A freezing smile touched Cain's lips.
He turned his gaze toward Hanzo as the Scarlet Throne manifested behind him, its presence consuming Zanko's destiny and very existence without a hint of pity.
