The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2323 Meylin vs Atena

As the conflict persisted, the Enlightened One’s body became increasingly covered in lacerations. He had abandoned any hope of outrunning his opponent through sheer velocity; the woman possessed superior speed and greater strength, allowing her to intercept his every move with minimal effort.
His solitary prospect for survival lay in finding a momentary lapse in her defense, striking her, and escaping before she could recover. Regrettably, the tide of battle was not in his favor.
He manipulated his staff in erratic, chaotic arcs—stretching, thickening, and bending it with a mere thought—yet the woman’s arm had transformed into solid obsidian. This allowed her to deflect his weapon using nothing but her bare skin. Every time she countered with a strike of her own, he suffered agonizing internal damage.
A heavy palm strike slammed into his ribs, propelling the Enlightened One through a thicket of trees. He hit the earth with a violent thud, spitting out a glob of crimson blood.
“Answer my question, and I will show you mercy,” the woman with violet eyes declared. “I give you my word as Atena.”
She halted her aggressive pursuit to offer those terms, but the Enlightened One struggled to his feet, leaning on his staff to support his trembling frame. He glared at her through blood-shot eyes. His gaze radiated nothing but unwavering resolve, courage, and a thirst for blood.
Atena let out a soft sigh. “Very well.”
She gave a slight nod—a gesture of respect for his spirit—though her admiration did not result in leniency. She blurred forward, her obsidian-clad arm aimed at crushing his vitals with the following strike.
However, just as their powers were about to collide, the killing intent of the Enlightened One seemed to act as a beacon. Starlight fractured the very air, and a young woman with radiant hair manifested. Wielding two blades, the True Depravita released a surge of razor-sharp Qi that swallowed Atena and hurled her backward.
A faint smile touched the Enlightened One’s lips at the sight of Meylin by his side, though he remained fully alert.
Atena was thrown back with immense force. Even though she shielded herself with her obsidian arm, she hadn't recovered her footing before the Enlightened One unleashed his remaining Cultivation. His staff surged forward, glowing with a fierce light as it slammed into Atena’s midsection, driving her through the earth and creating a massive crater in the volcanic soil.
Once the strike landed, the staff retracted to its original form, and the Enlightened One immediately shouted to Meylin.
“She can read thoughts!”
Meylin’s expression tightened. As the True Depravita of Original Sin, she instantly fortified her consciousness, locking away her thoughts and relying solely on conditioned battle instincts.
The pair shared a silent understanding and moved into a coordinated formation. Having fought side-by-side many times during their months in the Fourth Realm, their teamwork was flawless. Their combined prowess far surpassed their individual capabilities, and they would need such synergy now.
Within seconds, Atena climbed out of the pit.
The dual assault—a lethal ambush from Meylin combined with the Enlightened One’s heavy staff blow—had only managed to inflict superficial wounds.
It appeared her race lacked the gift of instant regeneration, but the sheer toughness of her physique served as a formidable substitute.
Atena wiped a smear of blood from her lip and locked her eyes onto Meylin.
“This is your final opportunity,” she cautioned. “Divulge everything you know.”
Despite her composed exterior, the Enlightened One and Meylin could feel the frigid, calculated violence bubbling beneath the surface. Any warrior capable of maintaining such emotional discipline while consumed by internal fury was a terrifying opponent.
Naturally, neither Meylin nor the Enlightened One intended to betray their comrades. Instead, they deepened their combat stances.
“So be it,” Atena whispered.
A subtle grin touched her face as she inhaled deeply. Her pulse accelerated—faster and faster—until it surged like a dying star.
“Asura Form.”
Meylin and the Enlightened One both recoiled in visible alarm. They recognized that aura instantly. Despite their shock, they kept their minds focused on the immediate life-and-death struggle, refusing to let their thoughts wander toward Cain to prevent any information leak.
Atena seemed indifferent to their caution. She vanished, reappearing before them with terrifying speed.
The Enlightened One swung his staff up just in time. Atena’s obsidian-clad kick hit the weapon like a falling meteor. While the staff protected his head, the sheer momentum sent him flying through the air, his muscles vibrating from the impact.
Meylin lunged instantly, capitalizing on the moment Atena’s leg was extended. Her twin swords whistled toward Atena’s throat. But before the steel could bite, Atena opened her hand, manifesting a spear of obsidian Qi similar to the armor covering her skin. She detonated it at point-blank range. The explosion erupted, blasting the True Depravita into the distance.
Atena did not pause for a second. She spun toward the Enlightened One, pointing her index and middle fingers to condense a beam of obsidian Qi—this one narrower, swifter, and far more lethal.
The Enlightened One’s pupils dilated as he tracked the incoming beam. Realizing he couldn't evade it, he maintained his composure. He spun his staff rapidly, creating a rotating shield before him. He then pressed his palms together, pouring every drop of his power—and the Light of the Flow—into the weapon.
The staff transformed into a colossal, shimmering golden gate.
The obsidian beam made contact.
Shockwaves rippled through the environment, tossing volcanic debris and ash into the sky in a chaotic gale. The golden gate groaned and cracked under the intense pressure, fractures spider-webbing across its surface—yet it remained standing long enough to neutralize the beam before dissolving into sparks. The staff returned to the Enlightened One’s grip, charred and smoking.
Atena’s eyes flickered with genuine amazement. She hadn't expected the strike to be fatal, but the fact that he had neutralized it completely was unexpected.
Her astonishment deepened when, in the following heartbeat, she felt a massive surge of power from her flank, accompanied by two frigid words.
“Redemption Incarnation!”
