The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System Chapter 534 - I missed you too, Little Snow...

Previously on The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System...
Qingyi revealed to Tianjin and Qianyao the presence of demon seeds corrupting the Rose Empire and Enlightened Sky Empire, including the emperors, and his slaying of the Heavenly Demon's avatar. Activating a concealment talisman, they uncovered the demon's plot to unite Mana and Qi into Aether, harnessing the Primordial Creation Seed within Qingyi to shatter the heavens and claim ultimate power as the new Creator. Tianjin implored Qingyi to thwart this scheme, while among the fox people, Hu Lanyin and the Ancient Matriarch lamented their demonic affliction and fading hopes, only to witness the shocking return of a transformed young dragon radiating immense power.

"Senior Lanyin." Under the watchful eyes of the fox women, Qingyi touched down on the earth and promptly cupped his fists in salute.

The stunning woman didn't reply at once. Her dark tail swished gracefully at her back while she fixed her attention on him.

She had already discussed matters with the Matriarch and learned that Qingyi possessed some way to fend off demonic corruption.

Yet, she found it hard to fathom how he had advanced so rapidly to wield the strength needed to eradicate the evil seed this quickly.

Even with her own eyes witnessing it and her Qi detecting it, belief came with great difficulty.

"You are Long Qingyi..." Lanyin at last shattered the quiet. "Son-in-law to the Patriarch of the Cat People and, as I recall, to the Patriarch of the Dragon People too."

"Correct." Qingyi inclined his head.

"But you're not one of our kind, merely a transient guest." She advanced a step, her gaze brimming with doubt. "Why offer us your aid?"

For a brief instant, Qingyi held his tongue. Such doubts were entirely expected.

To the fox people, he remained an outsider, his time among them fleeting and confined to scant interactions with Lingxue.

'The Matriarch hasn't informed her about Xueyao...' Qingyi pondered inwardly.

"Might we speak alone?" He inquired.

Seconds later, Lanyin agreed with a nod and pivoted away from Qingyi.

Her right hand signaled the other fox girls to depart; her left hand clicked her fingers sharply.

In an instant, Qingyi and she vanished from sight.

They materialized within a dim, secluded chamber, beside the cauldron Qingyi had employed previously to enter the realm housing the Matriarch.

"What do you want-"

Lanyin couldn't complete her words. A joyful voice, intimately familiar to her, resounded as a form emerged next to Qingyi.

That was... Xueyao?

What in the world was she doing here? How had this happened? They had dispatched Xueyao to the Mortal Heavens!

Lanyin lacked the moment for contemplation.

Right away, she had to spread her arms to receive that adorable and curvaceous young fox.

"Big sister Lanyin!" Xueyao cried out, her face burying into the beauty's bosom while her eyes gleamed brightly.

"I missed you so much..." She murmured, her tone softening from its thrill as tears welled in her eyes.

Lanyin remained rooted in place, stunned for several long moments. Her eyes shifted to Qingyi then back to the girl she held.

She wavered, trembled, and gulped before at last wrapping Xueyao in a tight hug.

Twenty thousand years stretched out eternally, yet she recalled her Xueyao with crystal clarity and the depth of her longing.

"I missed you too, Little Snow..." Lanyin uttered at last, drawing Xueyao

nearer to her chest.

Her plush black tail flicked behind her with heightened vigor, matching the playful sway of Xueyao's white tail.

"Hehehe~~" Xueyao laughed with delight and stepped away. "Hubby vowed to rescue everyone, and hubby always keeps his word, so no need to fret!"

"Hm-mm..." Lanyin assented, fighting to steady her surging emotions and soothe her thoughts. "Has the Matriarch learned of your presence?"

"Yes," Xueyao confirmed with a bob of her head, sidling back to Qingyi, her ample chest jiggling with every spirited movement. "She even bestowed the Seed of Life upon hubby as a present! Where is she? Can we visit her right now?"

"The Seed of Life?" Lanyin's eyes bulged in astonishment.

Just... how deeply did the Matriarch place her faith in that man?

Qingyi stayed mute, merely reclining against the wall as he examined Lanyin's

statistics.

Thankfully, the demonic energy within her showed no advancement and,

it seemed, remained thoroughly stable.

Yet that held little relevance for Qingyi at present. His priority lay in discovering the method to cleanse her.

[Should this corruption stem directly from the demonic seed, simply eliminate it and prevent the awakening of this energy. Ensure all these women keep their distance from this area during your battle.]

"I understand..." Qingyi acknowledged in his mind, lifting his gaze to the pair of beauties now engaged in lively conversation.

"Is that sufficient?" He questioned Lanyin, drawing closer and running his fingers through Xueyao's

silvery locks.

The beauty paused briefly, but then nodded and stepped aside for Qingyi.

"Uh? Is hubby departing so soon?" Xueyao queried, her joyful expression fading away.

"Yes." The striking youth answered, pressing a gentle kiss to Xueyao's lips. "The faster I move, the greater our odds of resolving everything. So place your faith in your husband, alright?"

The buxom little fox agreed with a nod, and following a parting embrace with the flushing Lanyin, she departed.

"Ah..." Qingyi exhaled, shaking his head before striding to the cauldron's rim.

"Don't die..." Lanyin's voice rang out from behind Qingyi. A flush colored her fair cheeks as she averted her gaze. "I mean this for Xueyao's benefit, not my own."

"I know." Qingyi grinned. "And I have no intention of dying."

In the following instant, he leaped into the cauldron, his form engulfed by a fierce spatial upheaval.

Upon his return, he hovered over that well-known woodland, hurtling downward toward the terrain.

"It's stronger..."

Qingyi required only a fleeting second to detect that dreadful miasma;

the demonic energy there teetered on the brink of eruption.

He ignited his draconic eyes, probing the surrounding Qi.

It raged wildly, fiercer than before.

The creatures stirred restlessly, locked in ceaseless combat. Meanwhile, every strand of

Qi converged on one spot: the roots of the colossal tree at the forest's heart.

"The demonic seed is on the verge of sprouting..." He clenched his jaw.

Rushing his tasks in the Enlightened Sky Empire had proven wise, though truthfully, eagerness eluded him.

Sensing that might, he felt assured: the demon seed among the fox people

surpassed in potency the ones encountered in the imperial capital, by an immeasurable degree.

"Enough to overcome me?" Qingyi mused, but he quickly dismissed the notion, a sneer twisting his lips. "Not in a thousand lifetimes."
