SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God Chapter 654: Countdown starts

While Damon was busy preparing for war, the rest of the world erupted in chaos.

The first ripple hit the global forums. A weird piece of news started spreading like wildfire.

[Blood Domain], a new guild had appeared out of nowhere. And right beneath it, stamped in bold, unmistakable letters was the Guild Leader’s name [Blood God].

At first, people thought it was a prank. A fan-made troll guild. Some idiot trying to ride the Blood God’s fame wave. After all, no one in their right mind would believe that the Blood God had created a guild overnight, especially one that was accepting literally anyone.

But then the second ripple followed.

Screenshots poured in. People started joining the guild left and right even if it was just to see what the hell was going on.

A thousand. Ten thousand. Hundreds of thousands. The guild roster was filling at a rate never before seen in Earth Online’s history. Every second, dozens of names flashed onto the list, low-levels, mid-levels, even a few high-level adventurers who joined out of curiosity or sheer insanity.

Then came the third ripple. Some of the recently joined guild members posted the latest guild announcements in the forums.

[Ding! Guild Blood Domain has officially declared a Regional Skirmish War!]

[Ding! Guild War Objective: Securing total control of the Nine Rivers Region.]

[Ding! All Blood Domain members will be force-teleported to the combat zone in 10 minutes.]

[Ding! Failure to participate will result in automatic expulsion.]

Forums exploded. Streamers nearly fainted. Guild leaders choked on their drinks. Every major super guild went into emergency meetings. News channels set up live panels. People who had casually joined in the first wave of curiosity now clutched their heads and screamed as their inboxes flooded with interview requests, bribery offers, and assassins-for-hire warnings.

Because now it was real.

The Blood God had formed a guild.

And he had done it in the most unhinged, unpredictable, lawless fashion imaginable.

Who in the right mind would take a newly formed guild to war and that too a guild where anyone could enter and be a part of? What sort of lunacy was this? Wasn’t this just asking to be wrecked?

"He’s coming to Nine Rivers! He is actually coming to Nine Rivers! EVERYONE RUN!"

"Bro declared war with a hobby army."

"I joined Blood Domain for the memes. Now I’m apparently going to die."

"I love this game so much."

"Fuck it. Blood God is going to win this hands down. That’s it. I am switching sides. I am going dark baby!"

"Count me in! I am going dark too!"

"Heh. You guys are not bold enough. I am going to become a fucking vampire!"

"You guys are all idiots. Obviously Blood God is going to lose this bullshit war attempt. Don’t get me wrong, he is a talented player but no one can win under these circumstances. He is simply courting death."

"Fuck you! You are courting death!"

"Where did this little bitch young master come from? Hey, your mother is courting death. She gave me a shoddy blow job yesterday!"

"Fuck you all, assholes! You are all just a bunch of edgy teenagers with vampire fetish. Die and burn!"

"Pfft! Blood God is the ultimate player! We will win bitch! Wait and see!"

All the chats turned rowdy as more and more chaotic players popped out of the woodwork and started acting like rabid dogs on steroids. It was as if the single event had united the entire population of thugs and toxic players who had all been already blocked by several guilds previously. Chaos was running rampant!

Meanwhile... the top guilds who were currently dominating Nine Rivers city were completely dumbfounded, unable to take any action or form any strategic plans with such a short notice. With just 10 mins for the war, they did not know what to do.

A normal guild war would never be sanctioned by the system in such a short interval but this was not a normal guild war. This was a territory conquest and apparently, the system allowed sudden take over when it came to wars like this.

This was practically new information for the entire world, let alone these guilds. Until now because of the abyss expansion, there had been small skirmishes here and there. However, most of them were between NPCs.

The light faction players only received quests related to the abyss and everyone was knee deep in that. Even the dark faction players were busy with the abyss expansion. No one actually expected a player guild to wage war against a city, that too attempting a full blown take over!

So how were the guilds supposed to react when someone did the unexpected in the most impractical manner?

Arcane Dawn – War Room, Emergency Meeting

"Impossible," Guildmaster Roderic snarled, slamming both hands on the table. "He didn’t just create a guild, he directly declared war on our city? Why? What the fuck is there in our city? "

An officer gulped. "What should we do now, sir?"

Roderic stared, stunned. "Does that lunatic understand how guild warfare works?! Does he even have an army?!"

Another officer raised a trembling hand.

"Sir... he has an army of three hundred thousand. Their guild currently has three thousand members and it is increasing every second."

Eternal Sovereignty – Strategy Office

The top strategist, Alesia, stared at the announcement in complete silence.

Then she whispered, "Blood Domain... what a name. He’s not hiding his intentions at all."

A vice commander swallowed. "Should we prepare defenses?"

"For what?" She gave him a cold look. "Do you intend to stop a hurricane by opening an umbrella? We need to be smart about this. Let’s get all our allies. We need all the manpower we can gather."

Titanfall Guild – Training Arena

Their strongest Warrior, Raizor the Titan, cracked his knuckles with a grin. "Hah! Finally! Something interesting! The Blood God is making moves again!"

His second-in-command trembled. "B-But sir... reports say he is using random players as soldiers."

Raizor laughed even louder. "Of course he is! That madman uses players the same way others use consumable potions! Don’t worry about small fry. Blood God is our primary target. As long as we take him down, the guild will collapse. Hmph. Today I will show him who the real Titan is!"
