Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2045: It’s just an orb (2)

Previously on Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure...
Shota pondered his lack of specialization amid his diverse powers, rejecting weapons like knives or spears due to his inexperience and opting instead for a flexible relic suited to his jack-of-all-trades nature and creation divine energy. Channeling his energy, he formed an unassuming orb that matched his versatile abilities. Emerging to an expectant crowd including his wives, the prime minister, and children, he reluctantly agreed to demonstrate it on a practice field with normal targets, drawing surprised murmurs when he revealed the simple orb.

This response from them didn't catch me off guard at all, because it lined up precisely with what I'd predicted they'd do.

On the surface, my relic held no standout features whatsoever.

It came across as nothing more than a plain transparent sphere that nestled snugly into my palm.

The orb resembled those commonplace glass balls scattered everywhere.

That's exactly why I felt sure that disappointment would wash over them the moment they laid eyes on it.

In the end, my hunch proved spot on, judging by the disappointment in their voices and the way they eyed the orb I held.

I felt no urgency to reveal its functions, knowing full well that its powers carried no remarkable traits. Another round of letdown was bound to hit once I demonstrated it.

Yet they insisted on witnessing it anyway.

With the children gazing up at me, their eyes huge and pleading for a display of its capabilities, I found it impossible to turn them down.

So I lifted the orb high and aimed it toward the targets positioned ahead of me.

As I did so, a surge of energy burst forth from the orb—something subtle that most folks wouldn't detect. Those with keen senses picked up on it, but it didn't faze them, as it was merely divine energy.

This relic had been forged using my divine energy, making it inevitable that it would radiate the same essence.

However, as that divine energy began to transform, their faces twisted in surprise.

Not only did the sharp-sensed individuals react with altered expressions, but everyone else's features shifted too upon witnessing the emerging creation.

Rather than one lone weapon, a diverse array of arms materialized.

Numerous weapons popped into existence from nowhere, though in truth, the divine energy from the orb had shaped them.

Crafted from creation divine energy, the orb naturally inherited the power to bring things into being.

Once all these weapons took form, they hurtled through the sky toward the waiting targets, fanning out flawlessly to weave a web of blades encircling their marks.

Still, these weren't ordinary dummies.

With such grand expectations, they'd set up the finest enchanted targets, powered by mana stones to grant them mobility.

As the weapons closed in, mana coursed through the targets, propelling them skyward.

Once airborne, the targets darted aside, evading the incoming barrage.

Just when it looked like the weapons might only clash against one another, they halted abruptly, as if guided by an unseen force. Hovering briefly, they then wheeled around to lock onto the fleeing target.

With their aim set, they surged forward in perfect unison toward the target.

"What's happening here?" one onlooker blurted out in confusion at the sight.

"I'm the one directing them. Since I brought them into existence, it's natural I'd have command over them too," I clarified, then turned my focus to pursuing the dodging target.

In that moment, I missed the odd glances they shot my way.

Guiding the weapons after the target, they plunged straight into it without fail.

The target's embedded magic array limited its evasion; once I introduced more intricate maneuvers, nailing it became straightforward.

Handling this proved no challenge for me, as I wielded direct control over the conjured weapons.

After they embedded in the target, I flicked my hand, dissolving the created arms.

Having summoned them, it stood to reason I could banish them just as easily.

With the show wrapped up, I scanned the room's occupants, eager to gauge their responses.

But the reactions that followed weren't quite what I'd foreseen.

Shock etched across every face as they stared at the fallen targets on the floor, disbelief plain in their eyes.

Confusion gripped me, since the feat I'd pulled off seemed utterly ordinary.

In the game's world, this would rank as basic golem magic.

Thus, it truly held no extraordinary value.

"Pretty dull, right?" I ventured cautiously, breaking the heavy silence.

My words drew bewildered stares from the group, as if they doubted my ears were working.

Klein broke the tension, replying, "Dull? How? This power lets you hold your own against an entire army!"

"It's not that impressive—golem magic achieves the same effect," I countered, trying to downplay it.

Yet a researcher shot back instantly, "Golem magic doesn't compare in the slightest. It demands pre-set magic arrays to call forth a golem. It can't conjure items from nothing like you did. How could anyone equate them?"

This expert clearly knew their craft, being a magician hailing from the Sorcery Empire.

His words only amplified the peculiar looks directed my way from the crowd.

All I could do was offer an embarrassed smile in response.
