Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2027: Can it create? (2)

The sea witches revealed their secret blood tonic, a vaccine derived from the blood of immune individuals like mermaids, designed to transfer resistance to the harmful ocean waters affecting other races. Though insightful, the process of isolating the immunity and producing the tonic would take considerable time, exacerbating tensions between the mermaids and the returning explorers' kin, who now harbored renewed prejudice. The Merman King pressed for a swift resolution to mend relations, turning expectantly to the protagonist, whose divine power—hinted at by Aestum—emerged as a potential means of creation beyond conventional research.

Following an extended silence, I ceased dwelling on the matter.

Pondering it further wouldn't reveal any solutions, particularly since our predicament had grown so urgent. Therefore, all I could manage was to attempt the idea and determine its feasibility.

That prompted me to summon Queenie.

Queenie appeared startled by the abrupt call before panic set in for her.

After all, I had brought her into a realm submerged entirely in water.

Although an air pocket enveloped me, her sudden emergence beneath the surface remained utterly startling.

Moreover, creatures like her generally fared poorly around water to begin with.

"I’m drowning! I’m drowning!" Queenie cried out, thrashing her arms and legs wildly, resembling a fish stranded on dry land—an irony that wasn't lost.

I gripped her firmly to prevent her from slipping out of the air bubble, assuring her, "Calm down. There’s no water around you and you can breathe properly."

Queenie required some time to settle, yet she eventually composed herself and grasped that no peril threatened her. Still, upon regaining her composure and acknowledging the safety, she fixed me with a resentful gaze.

Evidently, she held me accountable for invoking her into such a perilous spot.

"There was no other choice, it was an emergency. I need your power, give me as much as you can."

The gravity in my tone caught Queenie off guard, but even a slothful being like her refrained from jesting in such a moment. She could sense the gravity of our circumstances plainly.

This led her to unleash her divine energy toward me.

As that divine energy surged forth, I sensed it coursing into my body via the bond linking me to Queenie.

A rush of vitality flooded through me abruptly, yet it remained manageable, not overwhelming my command. Thanks to my link with Queenie, I essentially commanded this influx as its own wielder.

A mere intention from me sufficed to direct that energy precisely as desired.

Yet this marked merely the initial phase.

Having seized command of this force, the next task involved merging it with the divine energy residing within myself.

My internal divine energy lacked great potency, leaving me uncertain if it could achieve the intended outcome. Hence, I drew upon Queenie's divine energy to fuel its execution.

After all, Queenie's divine energy held a unique quality, bearing the propagation attribute.

This ensured an inexhaustible reservoir of strength for my purpose.

Still, I harbored doubts about successfully pulling it off.

Although my own divine energy carried the creation attribute, the feat demanded more than straightforward application.

"Will it be able to create it?" The question echoed in my mind as I gazed down at my palms once more.

Drawing in a deep breath, I began directing the divine energy toward my hand, shaping it as though molding an object. Simultaneously, I funneled a consistent flow of Queenie’s divine energy to sustain the effort.

Before long, a form began to emerge.

I hadn't anticipated success initially, but the accumulation in my grasp proved impossible to overlook. It manifested as a fluid of some sort, tinged with a vivid crimson hue reminiscent of blood.

"Give me a bottle." I instructed the moment the liquid took shape.

Zyra stood ready, extending a bottle into the air sphere for me to take.

Carefully, I guided my hand above the bottle's mouth, positioning the forming liquid directly over it. With that alignment, I intensified the energy infusion into the droplet, causing it to swell.

Soon enough, a steady flow of the substance poured into the container.

The crimson fluid brimmed the bottle full until I abruptly halted the divine energy transfer.

"We’ll have to check it first to see what this liquid is."

Such caution made perfect sense, given my ignorance of the liquid's nature despite crafting it myself. Deep down, though, a conviction stirred that this held the key to resolving our crisis.

After all, this harnessed the might of divine forces, capable of true wonders.

Zyra and the sea witches completed their examination of the liquid swiftly, their expressions turning peculiar upon conclusion. The glances they directed my way already validated my suspicions.

"We’ll need to test it with a person first before we can do anything else. We don’t know if it’ll be able to do what we want it to do, but it seems like there’s a good chance. After all, we can see the components of the blood tonic inside of this liquid."

Their odd stares stemmed from this revelation.

In essence, I had forged the essence of life, as the liquid contained genetic elements granting the needed resistance.

Though I had accomplished it, the feat stretched beyond my own belief.

Or more precisely, the consequences of wielding such power filled me with dread.
