Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 1941: You’re a dog

Although the royal guards halted their advance, they refused to lower their weapons even after my declaration. It was evident they were prepared to strike the moment a weakness appeared. I realized that mere words would not be enough to win their trust.
Turning back to the creature, I asked, "Is there any part of you that can engage in conversation?"
I lacked confidence that the tentacles could actually perceive my voice. These were essentially limbs, and limbs are not typically used for hearing. Then again, I doubted creatures of this nature possessed ears at all.
If my memory served me right, such beings utilized sensory organs to detect fluctuations in water pressure, which functioned as their auditory system. I began contemplating how to transmit vibrations toward the whirlpools to communicate with the main body.
However, my planning was interrupted as the tentacles began to shift once more. The royal guards seemed poised to charge, but they were held back when the Merman King raised his hand, signaling them to stand down.
When the movement ceased, the sight before me left me completely stunned. I was not the only one caught off guard; my companions were equally shocked by the configuration the tentacles had formed.
"Wait a moment."
The words were inscribed in the common tongue, making the message clear to everyone present. It appeared my intervention was unnecessary, as the master of these tentacles had already perceived my words. I couldn't help but wonder how exactly the owner had managed to hear me.
Shortly after, something emerged from the center of the former whirlpool. While not as massive as the subterranean tentacles, it was by no means small. It far exceeded any of us in scale.
As expected, the creature was a colossal squid—or more accurately, a Kraken. Since it was a beast of legend, the title of Kraken was far more fitting.
Upon its arrival, its immediate focus was directed toward me. It clearly recognized that I bore the Mark of God. Given that the mark on my hand was still radiating light, its recognition wasn't particularly surprising.
The Kraken's first action after appearing was to speak.
"Greetings to the Holy Son."
Judging by its greeting, the creature seemed to possess a fairly dignified temperament. Or, at least, that would have been my assumption if it hadn't followed up with a peculiar observation.
"Why do I perceive such a foul stench?"
Confusion rippled through the group, but it was short-lived. The moment the Kraken identified the source of the scent, everyone instinctively resumed a defensive posture. It was clear the Kraken harbored a deep grudge against the Merman King.
"That trident... it reeks of that tyrant Aquaron! You are nothing but one of Aquaron’s hounds!" the Kraken declared, its voice dripping with provocation.
The royal guards weren't the only ones on high alert; the Merman King himself tightened his grip on his trident. In the Merman Empire, Aquaron was a deity held in the highest regard, and the King was a devoted follower. Such a blatant insult to their god naturally provoked a sharp reaction.
I stepped between the two parties once more and questioned the Kraken, "Why are you saying such things?"
"Holy Son, do not be deceived..." The Kraken’s voice trailed off as it scrutinized me.
It seemed to sense that something about me was unusual.
"Holy Son, you must not fall victim to the schemes of that tyrant Aquaron! Do not permit his corruption to taint you!"
Despite its respectful address toward me, the Kraken’s hostility toward Aquaron remained unshakable. It was bizarre for a divine messenger to harbor such animosity, but I didn't have time to dwell on it. A violent confrontation between the merfolk and the Kraken seemed imminent.
"Alright, that is quite enough."
The interruption didn't come from me. Instead, the voice resonated from behind the Kraken.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed a small sphere of blue light drifting toward us. The Kraken appeared visibly intimidated by the arrival of this glowing orb.
"What brings you here, Your Eminence?" the Kraken asked.
Ignoring the beast, the blue light floated directly to me. "I have been expecting you," it stated.
I was taken aback by its words, but that wasn't the most startling part. I could sense a powerful divine Cultivation energy emanating from the sphere. This entity was either a direct relative of a god or perhaps something even more significant.
"Follow me; there is much we must discuss." The blue light turned and began to drift away in the opposite direction.
The Merman King and his guards stood frozen in confusion, unsure of how to proceed. I let out a heavy sigh and said, "Come on, let’s go and see what they want."
After a brief pause, I added, "They won’t harm us."
The Merman King and the guards cast one last wary glance at the Kraken, which was already trailing behind the blue light. Ultimately, they chose to follow me as we pursued the mysterious orb.
