Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 664 Rest

Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
Ergen and Ming, leaders of rival groups, fiercely quarreled over an ascension path stone, their conflict rooted in bitterness over a woman who left Ergen for Ming. A colossal mutant bird suddenly crashed nearby, writhing in agony from internal explosions and flames bursting from its body. As the beast succumbed, a blood-drenched figure burst from its corpse, testing devastating blood manipulation skills that annihilated the creature completely, leaving the onlookers frozen in terror.

Vritra gazed at the cluster of individuals, trembling while the mutant corpses detonated around them.

He scanned the surroundings next, struggling to pinpoint his precise whereabouts, so he leaped from the lifeless mutant's form,

approaching the huddled group.

"Approach me." He commanded, causing Ming and Ergen to quiver before timidly stepping forward.

"What is this location?" Vritra inquired.

"T- This area is Riverdel city, though merely the outskirts…" Ergen replied, his tone as heavy as always.

"I understand; did the bird soar directly from over there?" Vritra asked, gesturing backward.

Ming and Ergen nodded swiftly, terrified that this man might truly end their lives.

"Fine, remain in place." Vritra instructed before pivoting, unleashing a surge of bloody energy from his soles to propel himself airborne and vanish.

In a flash, he was out of view, leaving the group collapsing to the earth, desperately heaving for air.

His mere presence had imposed an overwhelming oppression, nearly choking them.

Thanks to his enhanced powers, sustained flight was now possible for him.

'They can't be too distant.' Vritra surveyed the area, noting that all his prior injuries had fully mended.

Swiftly, he traversed the edge of Riverdel city, propelled ahead by successive blasts.

Soon enough, the shrieks of mutants reached his ears.

A battle appeared to be unfolding, and Vritra suspected his relatives were clashing with the mutants.

Accelerating, he drew nearer, only to encounter an odd scene—it was indeed his kin.

The pair of carriages raced in tandem, with the women secured in the rear one, while Shitless and Onest rode in the leading vehicle.

Shitless, resembling a grotesque mutant himself, was bound to the exterior of the carriage.

Dozens of feral mutants howled in panic, scattering from the carriage like it bore a deadly contagion, as if Shitless himself was the affliction.

Were even the mutants so terrified of him?

Yet Shitless clearly fumed at being restrained outdoors, hurling curses at Onest.

Shaking his head, Vritra descended before the rapidly advancing carriages.

The panicked mutants were hurled aside as their forms erupted, causing the wolves to halt, their paws skidding across the snow.

"P- Pitiful one?!!" Shitless exclaimed in shock, then pleaded immediately.

"T- This thief bound me; damn it, if my Bullo were present, he wouldn't have the guts. You must thrash him."

"Okay, okay, I'll ensure he suffers." Vritra severed the bindings, sending Shitless tumbling face-down into the snow.

The rest of the group hurried out as the carriages jerked to a stop.

The women beamed with delight upon seeing him unharmed, rushing to envelop him in embraces.

"Darling, are you okay?" Diana examined him for wounds and exhaled in relief.

"Yes, I'm alright. That player didn't harm you, did he?" Vritra probed, a scowl forming on his features.

Even gravely wounded, the player could harbor lingering schemes.

"No, he escaped amid the turmoil. I'm certain he headed to Riverdel city." Vanessa clarified, elaborating further.

Through her earlier use of manipulation and hypnosis, she had glimpsed his recollections and learned of his destination.

"There's some beast cave or similar there, and he anticipates a major treasure emerging, so he'll surely head that way.

Most of his power derived from his followers, who are all eliminated now; he may seek new puppets." She continued.

"Indeed, he likely bolted to Riverdel already. I don't think he'd linger. Regardless, let's proceed there; we ought to learn more about the area too."

Boarding the carriages once more, they resumed their journey onward.

Morgan, severely wounded by Teresa, had already departed the city, searching for potent subordinates or alliances with fellow players.

Reclining in Yennefer's lap, Vritra listened as she recounted the events following his blackout.

He marveled at Teresa's feat in injuring Morgan so profoundly.

Rising, he stroked her hair, grinning:

"Tess, you performed splendidly. Certain individuals in this realm don't merit our mercy; we simply need to discern them, and by eliminating those vermin, you'll safeguard the blameless."

Tess inclined her head, nestling against him. Initially, it had troubled her deeply—inflicting harm on someone was the furthest from her desires—but his reassurance eased her tension and lifted her spirits.

'I knew it; if my spouse affirms it, then it's true.' She reflected, resolving to aid him in purging the wicked.

As they conversed, the carriages promptly reached Riverdel city, soon arriving near the massive corpse.

"Whoa, that creature is enormous!" Shitless leaned out and blurted.

Ming and Ergen remained rooted, paralyzed by fear and unable to budge.

Only the mightiest in their faction might slay such a beast, or perhaps not even they; Vritra was no ordinary soul.

"S- Sir, you've returned!" They rushed forward as Vritra alighted from the carriage.

But astonishment struck them as one breathtaking woman after another emerged, each captivating their thoughts utterly.

"Do you belong to an organization, or are you the heads?" Vritra queried, seeing potential in enlisting them for local insights.

"W- We're merely posted here for patrol; we're not the chiefs!" Ming answered hastily, both drenched in perspiration.

Every faction boasted around 12 to 13 members, all quaking in dread.

"I understand. Inform me about your factions: how formidable are the locals and mutants? Mention any notable details you possess." Vritra directed, arms crossed.

Shitless dashed over, prodding the colossal bird repeatedly, hoping for hidden riches.

Regrettably, none existed.

"Y- Yes, I'm Ergen from the Eagles, and this fool—er, Ming—from Glasses. Our outfits rank moderate here; unlike Doven, this city brims with peril.

Fiercer mutants lurk, even deadlier than that fowl, so we stick to the periphery." Ergen explained.

"A- And several dominant factions exist, like the Doctors, the Cinema, and others. O- Oh, yes, our superiors banned certain city zones—trespassers perish—and there are mines too, though we're unaware of much else…"

Eager not to lag behind his rival, Ming interjected rapidly.

"I get it. Who among you knows this territory best?" Vritra pressed.

Exchanging glances, they realized Vritra might intend to escort them inward; neither desired venturing into such hazards, so silence prevailed.

Abruptly, a bald, menacing visage thrust between them, growling ominously: "One accompanies us, the other meets death…"

Uwaaaah!!

They leaped back in alarm, poised to strike the mutant; previously, Shitless had evaded notice amid the women's allure.

"He's my ally; now respond." Vritra halted their assault, reiterating the query.

"I- I'll join you, sir! I know every corner here; I can assist with anything you need!!" Ergen blurted.

"As if you could; nobody honors you—they dub you a cuckold, mocking you covertly. I'm ideal for this, sir; take me!!"

The duo bickered fiercely, prompting Vritra to roll his eyes; this monk thrived on disorder.

While the pair squabbled, he turned to observe his companions, all drained from the recent skirmish.

Though healed, Vritra sensed fatigue himself; the ordeal had been exhausting.

"Enough; settle that afterward. First, guide me to your lodging. We'll recuperate briefly."

Rubbing his neck, he felt the strain in his muscles. At least he'd slain that butcher amid the fray, dooming him to agony.

Pondering it, he realized how accustomed he'd become—ending lives felt as routine as strolling.

"Yes, sir; follow us, our base is nearby." Ming urged.

Vritra's eyes shifted to the nearby tree, spotting the ascension path stone.

The men prayed he'd overlook it, but resignation set in.

With a finger flick, the fruit-like stone soared to him.

He'd already given the Flame Body ascension path to Fiona and the Mind Eye to Vanessa, as it aligned better with her.

Vritra could acquire fitting paths via the sin system with ease; his surge in strength stemmed from Blood Demon's perfect match.

Examining the fresh path stone,

[Metal Body Ascension Path!]

"Oh! Shitless, yours." Vritra declared upon noting its title, flinging it to the monk.

Shitless snatched it, grinning widely.

"Haha, thanks, pitiful one; regarding my prior plea…" he inquired, chafing his hands.

Vritra eyed the oblivious Onest; sighing, he assented—Onest deserved repercussions for mistreating the monk.

"Move out; guide ahead, and abandon any schemes. I'll torment you so excruciatingly you'd beg for death, got it?"

His expression blank, he warned; Ming and Ergen bobbed heads vigorously.

The carriages trailed the duo, who sprinted on foot; as evolvers, the pace posed no burden.

Before long, they reached a structure where both resided, prioritizing security over enmity.
