Quick Transmigration Cannon Fodder's Record of Counterattacks Chapter 3295: Can’t You Go Slower?

The cart moved so rapidly under Ning Shu’s push that Mei Ziqing was tossed around inside. Spitting out a mouthful of blood, she gasped, “Can’t you go slower?”
“Oh!” Ning Shu replied.
After layering another quilt over Mei Ziqing, Ning Shu actually increased her speed further.
Ning Shu was convinced that Mei Ziqing wouldn't perish so easily. Just as Ning Shu possessed her Unsurpassable Martial Arts, the other woman surely had her own secret cultivation method.
Her injuries would undoubtedly mend over time.
Current priorities, however, involved locating moon beasts to nourish Lar. If Lar withered away into a pile of useless scrap iron, Ning Shu would be in deep trouble.
Her mission would be an absolute disaster.
Thinking of their objectives, Ning Shu questioned Mei Ziqing, “Your task is a failure now, right?”
Mei Ziqing gave Ning Shu a sharp roll of her eyes. “It’s failed. The person the entrustor was infatuated with is dead.”
“To be honest, Spear Ban wasn't a decent man regardless. If he’s dead, he’s dead.”
Looks could be deceiving. It was likely his attractive features that had bewitched an innocent girl.
It appeared that Mei Ziqing’s entruster was a fragile, soft-hearted soul. By spoiling her weapon without any boundaries, she had created a monster who felt no concern for her.
He likely viewed her as a pushover and constantly overstepped his bounds.
He felt entitled to crush her emotions without a second thought.
When the moment arrived, she could simply swap her weapon for a new one—perhaps someone even more handsome. That might help the entruster move past her grief.
People obsessed with appearances were generally easy to manage.
Once they moved beyond the influence of the heavens-altering formation, patches of green finally appeared in the landscape.
Ning Shu grabbed the crossbow from Dagger Mu’s grip. Dagger Mu pulled back, refusing to let go. Ning Shu’s expression turned icy. “Can you take him hunting? Are you trying to let him starve to death?”
What was the point of hoarding my companion?
Dagger Mu gave Ning Shu a dark glare. “You’re so annoying.”
“You’re even more annoying than I am.”
Ning Shu sprinted into the woods. Based on her calculations, the moon beasts should be entering their restless phase again.
She spotted several moon beasts and began circulating energy from her Dantian to coat the crossbow, augmenting its lethality.
Ning Shu pulled the trigger, sending an arrow flying. The projectile pierced through the moon beast’s skull with ease, as if a needle were sliding through soft tofu.
Within just a few minutes, Ning Shu had slaughtered several more moon beasts.
Standing over her kills with her hands on her hips in a triumphant pose, Ning Shu thought: Damn, I’m seriously awesome!
Once Lar had consumed sufficient energy, Ning Shu stopped. Lar reverted to his human form, looking completely revitalized.
“Amazing!” Lar remarked, looking at her with a hint of awe. His own combat strength didn't reach such levels.
“That’s because you are excellent. In the future, stop claiming you’re a defective model. Even if you are, you’re still more powerful than most weapons out there.”
Lar gave a nod. “I understand.”
“I know the truth; it isn’t that I am powerful. It is that when any weapon is held by you, it transforms into a godly weapon.”
Ning Shu giggled while covering her mouth, waving her hand in a display of false modesty (smugness). “It’s nothing, really, wahaha…”
With the hunt concluded, Ning Shu and Lar made their way back.
The moment Dagger Mu saw Lar, he rushed over. “Are you okay?”
“Kid, Lar is my weapon. What could I possibly do to him?” Ning Shu shoved Dagger Mu to the side. “Keep your distance from my weapon.”
“You only saved his life once, and now you want to keep him prisoner forever?” Dagger Mu snapped at Ning Shu, fuming.
Ning Shu rolled her eyes. “What business is it of yours? It’s first come, first served—don't you know the rules? You’re the one trying to rob me, yet you act like you’re in the right?”
“That’s enough, stop arguing.” Lar intervened in the dispute between Ning Shu and Mu with a look of helplessness. He then turned to Dagger Mu and said firmly, “I will never leave my master.”
“Lar, you… I hate you!” Dagger Mu yelled out in frustration before turning around and bolting away.
Lar let out a sigh. “My apologies, he’s always been like this.”
