Immortality Through Array Formations Chapter 2025 Chapter 971: Godbreaking (Bonus Chapter for Alliance Hierarch Qchai)
Previously on Immortality Through Array Formations...
The vast hall overflowed with the terrifying energy of total annihilation.
In that fleeting moment, Mo Hua witnessed the Heavenly Dao fracturing into obsidian-colored laws as the telekinesis force shattered. His pupils were stained by the reflection of the "God Extinction" flower—a vision as magnificent as it was lethal.
However, the sight lasted only a heartbeat. Soon, the turbulent and violent backlash of Divine Thought surged through the entire chamber. Then, as quickly as it had erupted, everything dissolved into nothingness, retreating back into the void.
Every trace of aura vanished. Mo Hua calmed his racing heart and paused briefly before cautiously venturing further into the Divine Temple. He discovered that the already crumbling structure had been reduced to complete rubble after the series of brutal confrontations.
Massive sections of the once-imposing walls had been ground into fine ash. A colossal crater now scarred the center of the floor. Aside from these ruins, nothing remained; every existence had been extinguished, and every soul had been wiped out.
The Evil Embryo was gone, and Lord Yellow Mountain had vanished alongside it. The Mountain God of Guhuang Mountain, a powerhouse at the peak of the Third Grade, had perished in a mutual destruction with the Evil Embryo.
"The Mountain Lord has fallen..." Mo Hua whispered, a trace of melancholy touching his soul.
Suddenly, the surrounding air of cause and effect began to vibrate. Startled, Mo Hua expanded his Divine Sense to probe the ruins once more, only to detect a shimmering golden light at the heart of the hall. As he drew closer, his eyes widened in shock.
It was Divine Marrow! Specifically, a strand of incredibly pure, golden Third Grade Divine Marrow!
"Mountain Lord?" Mo Hua murmured as he sensed the essence. He let out a regretful sigh. This was untainted Divine Marrow, devoid of even a flicker of consciousness. The Mountain Lord was truly gone. This radiant, golden substance felt less like a remnant and more like a "parting gift" left specifically for him.
This Third Grade Divine Marrow was of unparalleled purity, far exceeding anything he had encountered before. Mo Hua could feel that within this essence lay the opportunity to break through the threshold of twenty patterns of Divine Sense. While he felt a deep sense of gratitude, he was also plagued by confusion.
"If the Mountain Lord treated me with such kindness, does it mean... he requires something of me?" Mo Hua wondered. He replayed the Mountain Lord’s final request in his mind: "If we truly are friends... take my... and flee Solitary Mountain."
Take what? Was it this Divine Marrow? It seemed plausible, yet Mo Hua felt an underlying intuition that this Divine Marrow was an intentional gift from Lord Yellow Mountain. After all, a deity would never let such a treasure slip away unless by choice. Divine Marrow held a magnetic attraction for gods and quasi-deities alike; the Mountain Lord would have known its worth. Given his conflicted final expression, it was obvious he had a far more vital task to entrust—one so dangerous he didn't even dare to voice it.
"What could it possibly be?" Mo Hua knit his brows, unable to solve the riddle. As he stood there lost in thought, the ceiling began to shed stones that dissolved into fragments of thought, and spiderweb cracks appeared on the ground.
"This is bad..." Mo Hua realized with a jolt. With the death of the Evil Embryo, the nightmare realm was beginning to disintegrate. "Elder Xun..." He scrambled to check on the safety of Elder Xun and the others. But before he could move, a massive repulsive force slammed into him. The fabric of space tore open, creating a swirling vortex of reality and illusion that sucked him in completely.
The Evil Embryo had served as the nightmare's anchor. With its demise, the entire dream world began to collapse, starting from the Divine Temple. Mo Hua was the first to be cast out.
As Mo Hua disappeared, the dream continued its steady dissolution. In an overlooked corner of the hall, unnoticed even by Mo Hua, lay half of a dragon bone. A lingering trace of the Divine Thought disintegration power clung to it, slowly eating away at the bone. The residual dragon energy within the bone fought back against this destructive force.
Suddenly, the dragon bone quivered, revealing a clouded, ancient eye—the eye of the Second Elder. He stared deeply at the spot where Mo Hua had vanished and whispered a single name: "Mo Hua..."
Then, the dragon aura faded, and the bone crumbled into nothingness. However, before it was completely destroyed, the dreamland had already folded. The final fragment of the Second Elder's consciousness, which had been parasitic within the bone, escaped the nightmare and drifted toward an unknown horizon.

The moment the Evil Embryo perished, the suffocating, dark fog of karmic causality lifted. The Old Ancestor of the Shen Family, who had been deep in Cultivation, snapped his eyes open. He gripped his chest as a sudden, inexplicable wave of dread washed over him.
"What has transpired..." The Old Ancestor frowned, performing rapid divinations with his fingers. His face paled instantly. "Someone, come at once!"
A trusted elder of the Shen Family entered and bowed, "Old Ancestor."
"Quickly," the Old Ancestor commanded, his voice trembling. "Go to Solitary Mountain and wipe out the karma..."
The elder hesitated, whispering, "Old Ancestor, such a move will cause a massive stir. It might draw the attention of the other Great Families..."
"It doesn't matter, just go!" the Old Ancestor barked. "Deploy everyone. Use fire techniques, fire talismans, and fire formations. Burn everything to the ground!"
The elder was chilled to the bone; he had never seen the Old Ancestor lose his composure like this. He realized the situation was far more dire than he could imagine. "Understood!" He bowed and hurried away.
Left alone, the Old Ancestor sat like a withered husk, his brow furrowed in anxiety. "How could there be a leak? And where did that ancient evil Qi originate? Who could have possibly... deceived even me?"

At the same moment the Shen Old Ancestor realized the truth, over at the Taixu Gate Elder’s Residence, Elder Master Xun was busy with his compass. Suddenly, his heart gave a violent jolt. He reset his calculations and performed a deduction toward Solitary Mountain. His expression shifted instantly, and he flicked out a sword talisman.
Moments later, Xun Zixian arrived and bowed, "Old Ancestor."
"There is no time to lose," Elder Master Xun said with gravity. "Gather the Sect Elders and head to Solitary Mountain immediately."
"Solitary Mountain?"
"A massive karma has surfaced there," Elder Master Xun explained solemnly. "Furthermore... Mo Hua is currently at that location."
Xun Zixian’s heart skipped a beat. He nodded firmly. "I will go at once!"

It wasn't just the leaders of the Qian Taoist Sect and Taixu Gate who noticed. Across various Great Families and Sects, other ancestors began to sense the disturbance.
"Something strange is happening in the northwest..." "Is that not the Shen Family's territory?" "Dispatch our people..." "Keep it quiet, do not alert the Shen Family..." "Collect every bit of intelligence you can find..." "That old fox Shen finally made a mistake..." "See if we can uncover any incriminating evidence..." "If you always walk by the river, you're bound to get your shoes wet eventually..." "...find a way to claim a share of the spoils."
Orders rippled through the upper echelons of the cultivation world. Groups of cultivators, some in the open and others in the shadows, began converging on Solitary Mountain. The winds of change were blowing, and dangerous undercurrents were rising.

Inside the Divine Temple at Solitary Mountain, Mo Hua drifted back to consciousness. His eyes felt heavy, and a dull ringing in his ears muffled the sounds of someone speaking, punctuated by the wet sound of a blade cutting through flesh.
"Royal descendant of the Great Wilderness..." "...nothing special at all... just a puppet for the Divine Lord, a high-ranking slave..." "Your bloodline is your only worth." "...the royal blood is the very core of the Great Wilderness Karma Dragon." "Now that this Dragon Pattern is complete, it shall greet its true master. As for you... you are unworthy. Let your petty ambitions be buried forever beneath Solitary Mountain..."
The voice was guttural and animalistic, barely sounding human. Mo Hua forced his eyes open, seeing a blurred silhouette that gradually came into focus. He gasped at the sight. A pale, grotesque demon was busy skinning Shen Tuao. It was a gruesome, bloody scene.
Even more terrifying was the presence of a second head hovering above the pale demon. It wasn't made of flesh, but was a crimson, spectral phantom. The face was elegant yet twisted by insanity; its aura was refined but stained with cruelty. Though Mo Hua had never met him, the pull of karma told him exactly who this was: Mr. Tu!
This pale demon was Mr. Tu’s flesh-and-blood puppet. As Mo Hua’s eyes opened, the parasitic "Mr. Tu" realized something was wrong. With a sacrificial blade in one hand and a flap of skin in the other, the entity turned its head with a sinister jerk to lock eyes with Mo Hua. Its expression was one of pure bewilderment.
"You... you're still alive?" "That's impossible... you entered the Divine Lord's nightmare. There is no way you could have survived, let alone escaped..." "The Divine Lord, he..."
Mr. Tu suddenly froze as he sensed something within the connection. His face contorted into a mask of pure horror. "Where is the Divine Lord?!" "My master... why has he vanished?!"
His gaze turned murderous as he glared at Mo Hua, screaming in a raspy voice: "What did you do? Tell me now! Where is my master's Divine Fetus? Why is it gone?!!"
