Previously on I was just making up techniques… how did all of you become Emperors?...
After leading Wendao Academy to victory in the Ten Holy Lands Grand Competition, Chu Feng prepares for a new mission to the Hongyuan Continent to establish a new sect. Equipped with powerful protective artifacts from the Dean, he travels with his disciples to the Saint Academy, the core of the academy’s power across multiple worlds. There, they reunite with Great Worthy Xuanhuo and gain an audience with the formidable God King Zhenshen. Amidst these high-level introductions, Chu Feng also finally reunites with his former master to discuss his upcoming journey into the unknown.

Chapter 601: First Arrival on the Hongyuan Continent

“Master, your ability to read people is truly legendary.”

Chu Feng offered a thumbs-up and a grin of admiration.

“Enough, this isn't the place for a conversation. Come, sit for a while at my modest courtyard.”

With those words, Meng Laotou guided Chu Feng and the other two away from the main hall. Shortly after, the group of four arrived before a tranquil, elegant thatched cottage nestled in a picturesque setting.

Scanning the cottage, Chu Feng immediately spotted a familiar short poem inscribed beside it: The mountain need not be tall…

He chuckled and teased, “Master, I didn't think you’d go as far as to steal even this.”

Meng Laotou’s face shifted as he puffed out his beard and glared. “How can the actions of a scholar be called stealing? Besides, this poem was clearly a filial tribute you offered to this old man.”

Chu Feng didn't bother arguing further with his master. Instead, he produced a tea table and began the process of brewing tea.

It wasn't long before the aroma of the tea permeated the entire cottage.

Meng Laotou smiled as he breathed in the scent. “Xiao Feng, your tea-brewing mastery has leveled up once again.”

Chu Feng gave a shrug. “Master, why are you still hurling insults?”

“Hahaha…”

Meng Laotou let out a boisterous laugh. “It has been many years since we last met. This old man momentarily forgot that back in your hometown, complimenting one’s tea skills is taken as an affront. Drink tea, drink tea.”

The four members of the Miscellaneous Dao Courtyard lineage gathered around the table and began to savor the brew.

Once the pot was finished, Chu Feng spoke up. “By the way, master, there is something I neglected to mention.”

“What is it?” Meng Laotou inquired.

“Madam Qianhuan said that the past should remain in the past, and you shouldn't let it weigh on your heart.” After saying this, Chu Feng watched his master’s reaction calmly.

The corner of Meng Laotou’s mouth gave a slight twitch. “Sigh… that whole situation was my fault. Once I reach the rank of Saint, I will naturally find her to explain everything. On another note, did you visit the Qingqiu Sacred Land?”

Chu Feng answered, “Reporting to master, this disciple followed your lead and brought that young girl Qianqian to my side to oversee her Cultivation. In time, she will surely become a Saint, and perhaps even a Divine King.”

“You handled that matter perfectly.”

Meng Laotou gave Chu Feng a thumbs-up before asking, “Once you reach the Hongyuan Continent, what kind of Sect do you intend to build?”

Chu Feng asked, “Master, is there a specific strategy for this?”

Meng Laotou explained slowly, “Naturally. It is ideal to found a Sect that resonates with the Great Dao you walk. Doing so will facilitate your path to becoming a god.”

Chu Feng smiled. “In that case, it’s simple. I shall establish a Sect that provides teaching without discrimination and only admits Sons of Destiny. In less than a century, I will certainly achieve godhood.”

“…”

Meng Laotou went silent. After a long pause, he asked tentatively, “Boy, be honest with this old man. Exactly which Great Dao are you walking?”

“Dao.”

After stating that single word, Chu Feng elaborated, “As the saying goes: the Dao gives birth to One, One gives birth to Two, Two gives birth to Three, and Three gives birth to all things…”

A heavy silence fell, and the space before the cottage became deathly still.

Meng Laotou stared at his disciple with wide eyes, his face masked in shock. After an indeterminate amount of time, he looked as if his spirit had been drained; he sat down slowly and muttered, “Old, I am truly getting old. The future of this world belongs to you youths. This old man has nothing left to teach you.”

A week later, the Suppressing God King activated the teleportation formation to the Hongyuan Continent. Chu Feng and his two disciples stepped into the array and were transported.

As the glow of the teleportation faded, the trio felt themselves submerged in a massive wave of divine power.

After a while, the pressure lifted, and the three stood atop a towering mountain peak.

Chu Feng used his divine sense to scan the environment and noted that the world did not reject them. Furthermore, the spiritual energy here was even more potent than at the Academy of Seeking the Dao, rivaled only by the Sacred Academy.

Huff…

Cao Youqian inhaled deeply. “Master, the spiritual energy here is incredibly thick. With this environment, my Cultivation speed will be several times greater than it was on the Xuanyuan Continent.”

Chu Feng noted, “That is to be expected. This world was only recently opened; it contains not just innate spiritual energy, but various innate treasures as well. If you find them, you might even develop a second Immortal Body, and your insight into the Great Dao will sharpen.”

Hearing this, the two disciples beamed with excitement, eager to test themselves through Cultivation and worldly experience.

Chu Feng saw right through their enthusiasm. He smiled and said, “Let us establish the Sect first. Once that is done, you can head down the mountain to find disciples.”

Xiao Chen asked, “Master, do we have specific requirements for those we accept?”

Chu Feng replied instantly, “Affinity. As long as they fit our path of Cultivation. However, since we are traveling abroad, we must craft our own identities. The titles we used back on the Xuanyuan Continent won't do; we need new, majestic names.”

Cao Youqian’s eyes sparkled as he asked, “Master, what kind of titles should we adopt?”

“Since I unify all Daos into one, I shall take the title of Dao Ancestor.”

The moment Chu Feng spoke, a violent force plummeted from the heavens toward him. Instinctively, he summoned the power of his Great Dao to block the pressure.

Xiao Chen and Cao Youqian stood frozen by the display. They didn't dare interfere, standing off to the side with the belief that their master would never be cowed by such a small amount of heavenly pressure.

Seconds turned into minutes as Chu Feng held his ground against the heavenly might using his Great Dao, his expression remaining perfectly stoic.

In a flash, seven days passed. The Dao force finally ebbed away, and a beam of golden light merged into Chu Feng’s body.

Feeling a slight increase in his Dao accumulation, his eyes sharpened as he whispered, “Does this signify that I have received the acknowledgement of the Heavenly Dao?”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Chen and Cao Youqian asked quickly, “Master, you gained a benefit just like that?”

“Indeed.”

Chu Feng looked toward the sky and murmured, “It appears this world is quite receptive to bearing fortune. Once the Sect is founded, fortune will naturally congregate there, which will greatly assist our Cultivation.”

The two disciples were overjoyed and shouted together, “Master, let us build the Sect immediately!”

“Mm.”

With a wave of his hand, Chu Feng deployed a formation that blanketed the mountain. As the array took hold, spiritual energy from ten thousand li around began to rush toward the peak.

He pulled a Dao stone from his storage ring and carved the words Seeking Dao Sect into the surface. With a flick, he set the stone at the mountain's base, then rubbed his chin, feeling that something was missing.

Next to the name, he used his Great Dao power to etch: Teaching Without Distinction.

As soon as these four characters were finished, another pillar of light descended, infusing the inscription with layers of Dao profundity.

Such was the beauty of a fresh world. Beyond innate beings, there was no one to compete with him for fortune.

The master and his disciples set to work constructing the buildings. In under three days, a pristine Sect stood upon the summit.

Cao Youqian asked, “Master, the Sect is ready, but the mountain remains nameless. Would you like to name it?”
