Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 484 - VS Solstice [1]

Previously on Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System...
Idalia Marigold crashed into the Dominion of Shadow with a cataclysmic burst of golden-white fire, incinerating countless souls and drawing the wrath of its ruler, the enigmatic Shadow. A playful message from Noah urged her to defend Apollonia by clashing with Shadow, sparking a fierce confrontation that escalated into a devastating punch from Idalia, its shockwaves rippling across dominions and stirring forgotten memories in Justicia and Apollonia. As their battle intensified with clashing powers and realm-shifting techniques, in the Dominion of Love That Was Unloved, Maryam and Selene rebuffed Love's affections but invited her to meet their shared husband and son, teleporting away amid another disruptive surge.

Suddenly, Maryam, Selene, and Love materialized within Light's domain, the shift occurring rapidly because of their connected rings.

The initial sight that greeted them was Light's face right up close to Maryam's, merely an inch away, his single eye staring without a blink.

Tension built up right away between the pair, as Maryam grinned provocatively, while Light kept his usual grave expression like a steadfast mask.

Selene, standing nearby, observed the odd exchange with confusion. Yet, before she could utter a word, Elira and Yuki pulled her aside, each grabbing one of her arms.

"Don't utter a sound," Elira whispered softly, eyeing the unfolding spectacle like a gripping play. She longed for Virgo's presence more than anything. At least then, she'd have plenty of sweets and soda on hand.

"Why not?" Selene questioned, cocking her head. "What's the scheme this time? And where's Noah anyway? What's his next move?"

"Same old chaos, as usual," Yuki replied in her laid-back manner. "You know how he is, right? We're all accustomed to it by now. Still, I have to say, this round feels entirely different."

"Regarding those two over there," Elira chimed in with a chuckle, "it's simple, dear Selene—Light adores Love. But Love is head over heels for Maryam."

"Love seems to fancy me too," Selene remarked casually, not dwelling on the odd phrasing.

Elira and Yuki whipped their heads around to face her, their mouths dropping open in shock.

Selene's mouth quirked slightly, and she quickly pressed on with her explanation.

"Trust me, sisters, this Pink Pig would fall for you as well if she set her sights on you."

"Yeah, pass."

"Agreed. Pigs aren't my type, you know?"

"That's prejudiced, Elira."

"Whatever."

Selene let out a sigh, steering the talk back to what her son was truly up to.

And thus, as her eyes grew wide upon learning that Noah intended to draw the full fury of the Origin Will from the Spirit World onto himself...

...Maryam gazed steadily at Light, whose eye remained locked on Love, whom she clutched like a possession, her legs kicking futilely in the air as though searching for footing.

"My dear Maryam, I relish this firm grip on me—honestly, I do—but could we save it for bedtime?" Love pleaded, her cheeks flushing as if she were bared vulnerable. "Right now, I'm starving!"

Maryam's mouth twitched at her statement. She just managed to hold back from swatting the back of this shameless pig's neck.

She had indeed adapted to Love's endless displays of fondness, yet even that had its boundaries.

Especially now, with her son safely back in her embrace, those boundaries felt even tighter.

But before Maryam could respond, Light spoke up instead.

"Love," Light uttered, drawing the Pink Pig Ruler's focus, "I've allowed you plenty of time to see that this home wrecker doesn't care for you. She doesn't, and she never will. Don't you get it?"

Light gestured toward Maryam with a wing. Love obeyed without thinking, peering at Maryam's expression.

It stayed impassive, perhaps faintly entertained by the drama. "Gaze at her, then at me. Notice the contrast in our looks toward you. Only then will the truth dawn on you, clear and undeniable."

His tone remained soft and even. Yet, the subtle shake hidden within was palpable to all. Without question, Light's affection for Love ran deep and true.

This was common knowledge. Even to Love. But love's harsh reality lay in this...

"Light, dear Light, I know you cherish me. And I appreciate you, truly. But not romantically—as a friend who stood by me in tough times."

"Still, my heart is Mary's. Don't question why; I can't explain it. Her lack of feelings for me stems solely from..."

Love halted, glancing over at Maryam. "What's that rival's name again?"

"Noah," Maryam replied, clearly amused.

Love faced Light once more. "Right! It's all Noah's fault! I know my love Maryam will come around to me! And damn that home wrecker—wait, Light, Maryam isn't the wrecker. Noah is!"

She stopped briefly, then shouted again.

"Where's Noah!?"

Love was set on winning Maryam's affection, even as she brushed off the devotion of one who'd move mountains for her.

Light regarded her with lifeless eyes, seeing her fawn over Maryam, who offered only a grin or two to quiet her down.

'You're chasing someone who'll never reciprocate, while forsaking one whose love endures forever.'

Light mused, his gaze clashing with Maryam's for a moment. She smirked back with her eyes—they arched slyly like a serpent poised to strike.

Her words echoed sharply in his thoughts.

"This payback is for every assault you launched at me back when I was a fresh Ruler."

"Didn't I warn you I wouldn't forget? I never do, Light. And I always hit back."

Light stayed quiet for a beat, then replied in his typical serene, flat tone.

"I suppose I held back too much on you."

Maryam gave a casual shrug.

"I won't make that mistake."

Then, she shifted toward Love, beaming at her with a radiant, pure smile.

Love nearly fainted from the sheer allure.

"I require a favor from you, darling Love."

"Name it!" Love squeaked excitedly. "Whatever you want, I vow! Just say the word!"

Right then, the Principality trembled anew. Seizing the cue, Maryam rushed her request.

"Hand over the Broken Tower to me."

Love froze, processing the demand, then tilted her head sideways.

"Why?"

"To prove your love for me."

...

Meanwhile, Noah soared high over the Dominion of Solstice, eyeing the devastation where sections lay in ruins, vapors rising like a massive smokestack.

Blasts of fire, water, air, and earth tore through the skies with savage force, creating an elemental maelstrom capable of ripping apart nearly any creature effortlessly.

This marked the final stand from the Four Leaders of the Basic Elemental Dragons in the dragon faction. Their might had been formidable, yet now only this tempest remained.

It bordered on pitiful.

Still, that wasn't Noah's focus at the moment. His gaze fixed primarily on the figure standing unfazed amid the raging elements.

He stood tall, about six feet high, with skin pale as frost, covered in twisting tribal markings everywhere. Shirtless, his lower half draped in a plain red telaba that whipped wildly in the gale.

The man's visage consisted solely of staring, ruthless eyes that occasionally mimicked a mouth.

Noah observed Solstice with arms folded across his chest. Abruptly, shadows started surging below him. But,

"No." Noah shook his head gently. "I'll handle him solo. You've fulfilled your role, Ester. Take a break!"

The shadows hesitated briefly before fading away gradually, like ink being wiped clean from a spill.

"Best of luck, Husband."

Noah responded with a grunt, his attention solely on the Soul Ruler ahead.

With Ester fully vanished, Noah cracked his neck to the left, then the right.

"Alright," he declared with a subtle smile, "let's get started, Solstice?"

The Soul Ruler replied with profound, unbroken quiet. But silence wasn't Solstice's style.

"The fight started long ago," Solstice rumbled, his voice echoing like a chorus of thousands overlapping.

Noah's grin stretched broader at those words.

"Naturally, I'm aware."

Only then did Solstice's concealed whispers, buried deep in reality's folds, erupt everywhere with Noah's sharp finger snap. The Prince lifted his gaze, a smirk lighting his handsome features at the unfolding view.

"Fifth Zodiac - The Lion, Sin of Pride."
