Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2723 1495: Exploration and Sudden Upheaval (Part 2)

As Leo Ray's group entered the mysterious ancient ruins, Moli suddenly sensed an immense wave of space energy, far more terrifying than the witch demon they had recently defeated, rendering her spatial magic useless. Alarmed, the warriors gripped their weapons and attempted to retreat, only to encounter an invisible, impenetrable space barrier that sealed their escape. Leo Ray, maintaining his composure, deduced that a Deity might be orchestrating the trap, reminiscent of the Lord Arena, leaving the group in shock as Moli questioned his prior encounters with divine forces.

"Your Excellency, to be honest, I'm an Otherworldly Lord who's come down to this world, so it's only natural that I have a few special traits."

Leo Ray offered no further words, merely giving a subtle smile.

"...What's an Otherworldly Lord?"

Moli, fresh from slipping through that spatial tear, looked even more baffled, clearly in the dark about such details.

"Basically, it's something out of the ordinary."

Leo Ray skipped the deeper explanation, wiping the smile from his face to speak with gravity, "Okay, even knowing a Deity's pulling the strings here, drawing from what we've faced before, the road forward holds dangers no less fierce than battling demons—full of hazards—so stay completely on guard, everyone."

Once Leo Ray wrapped up, the powerhouses all gave serious nods of assent, then followed his lead deeper into the ancient ruins.

Before much time passed, the team fully entered the long-forgotten underground ancient city.

From Moli's senses, those subtle yet chilling space ripples from before had faded away without a trace, hinting at some hidden threat building.

Deeper in, Leo Ray took sharper notice.

A handful of buildings remained intact in this place, while most lay as shattered remnants and rubble, overgrown with shadowy magic moss, signs of a fierce battle—maybe wiped out back in the Era of Blankness.

On top of that, two key concerns stood out.

For one, as Moli and Broy pointed out, this wasn't a Dwarf Elf settlement, but its gateway featured a Dwarf Elf teleportation array, which had to mean something.

For another, that first magic transmission source—could it be yet another tricky voice luring them into a trap?

While Leo Ray mulled this over, Calvin's weathered tone sounded nearby, "Your Majesty, from what I've seen, these ruins look like they belong to the Ancient Human Tribe!"

"Yes, I see it too."

Grey Elder agreed with a nod and added, "A lot of the building designs match those buried far under Radiant City. Though we lack clear badges or intricate motifs, this has to be Ancient Human Tribe handiwork."

At that, Leo Ray gave a small nod.

From his knowledge, ever since the Era of Blankness, plenty of Ancient Human Tribe sites had turned up across this continent, though nearly all were wrecked beyond repair, left as heaps of crumbled stone and wreckage.

The most solid one standing today was the Pelican Princess's residence, home to the Temple of Light's grand chamber. A somewhat preserved spot was the former Silver Fire King's stronghold under Brilliant City.

After wiping out the Black Abyss Brotherhood, teams of scholars from both sites had poured in for studies, like Grey Elder's crew from the Mercenary Guild and Calvin's from the Coldflame Palace, so their sharp eyes made sense.

"So, these are old sites from the Ancient Human Tribe. If I'm right, the top power back then was probably the Silver Fire Kingdom, wasn't it?"

Moli thought for a moment before voicing it.

With those words out, Moli changed her pitch and eyed Leo Ray, murmuring, "You've snagged a bunch of Ancient Human Tribe goodies as inheritance, haven't you? That's where your aces come from."

"As Your Excellency wishes."

Leo Ray shrugged it off casually and steered away, "In moments like these, Your Excellency, hold off on digging for my hidden edges."

"Hmph, aren't you always poking at my own mysteries?"

Moli rolled her eyes and puffed her cheeks, "Truth is, tagging along with you never brings luck. I just aimed for a quick wander, but now I'm tangled up with a Deity. Even spilling this to those thick-headed clan elders, they'd dismiss it as wild tales."

As Moli's words faded, Grey Elder and Calvin's excited calls hit Leo Ray's ears at once, "Your Majesty, this is surely Silver Fire Kingdom territory—we've got solid proof!"

Glancing toward the sound, Leo Ray spotted a half-ruined structure up ahead, its surviving wall bearing a faded wolf-head crest, the mark of the Silver Fire Kingdom.

Right as Leo Ray took it in, Moli's tone sharpened with alarm, exclaiming, "That insanely scary spatial power surge is back!"

With Moli's alert, the team spotted in shock how the barren space around them suddenly teemed with shadowy forms pulsing with immense presences, while barrages of arrows already streaked their way.

"Fight back!"

Thanks to Little Jie's swift Absolute Defense Barrier activation and the team's sharp readiness, counter-spells and arrows flew right back at the surprise assailants.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

In the roar of fierce magical blasts, clouds of dust billowed high, turning the already murky air into total haze.

As the grit started clearing, the group saw the attackers had all vanished, and oddly, those incoming arrows seemed to melt away before touching the Absolute Defense Barrier.

"What just went down? Some kind of trick of the eye?"

Kara's eyes went wide with shock. Even after hitting Tier 4, she paled next to the towering Tier 6 powerhouses, nearly crushed by their earlier overwhelming vibes.

"No, I picked up zero traces of illusion magic."

Moli clearly had ways to spot and block such deceptions, confirming, "Those shapes were solid, but so was their sudden vanishing act."

"So what gives? Did they pull off teleportation spells?"

Broy rubbed his head in bewilderment, "But that can't fit—how'd the arrows get zapped away too?"

"They did teleport, yet I caught no teleportation vibes at all—what's really happening here?"

Moli sounded just as lost, facing this weird twist for the first time.

"But if they all blinked out like that, why bother? A heads-up to us?"

The rugged blue features of the tree-born figure creased in a scowl as he scanned every corner, muttering, "It's downright baffling."

"Plus, in dead ancient ruins like this, a squad of heavy hitters popping up out of nowhere—doesn't that break all reason?"

Fanny furrowed her brow deep, on full alert, "It's beyond comprehension."

Hearing the confused murmurs, Leo Ray looked deep in thought.

On the foes' origins, he figured they could be overlord-tier rulers from some parallel world.

Still, no guiding voice announced any lord clashes this round, and as the group puzzled, why halt the assault midway? What's their game? Are they truly from beyond?

While Leo Ray reflected, fresh silhouettes brimming with mighty auras materialized, charging the spot with hostile tension.

Now, these strong presences popped up straight in the team's path, nearly brushing the Absolute Defense Barrier.

In astonishment, Leo Ray finally saw their essence—they were just silhouettes, eerily like the Space Magic Puppet Moli once called forth!

"Wait—these are?!"

Moli caught on too, her gaze snapping wide, but before anyone could move, an even wilder sight unfolded.
