Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2694: 1480: Forward (Part 2)

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
On the vast, shadowed battlefield, Leo Ray's forces pressed their assault on the entrenched undead army, with golem puppets and Gary's cavalry flanking the enemy lines, yet progress stalled against towering, heavily armored beastman undead and their explosive Bone Explosion skill. Time grew critical as parallel battles raged elsewhere under demonic influence, and the undead horde outnumbered even Frank's necromantic reserves. Undeterred, Leo Ray summoned thousands of low-tier flying undead beasts, which the enemy dismissed as harmless distractions, only for the creatures to unleash chaos by dropping invisible alchemy bombs that erupted in flames, shattering the undead formation. The pink-hooded ally watched in astonishment as the tactic turned the tide momentarily.

The pink-hooded man, an expert on alchemy bombs, had of course heard about them before.

Yet he knew full well that higher-tier alchemy bombs ought to grow larger in size to match. For blasts rivaling Tier 5 or even Tier 6 magic, such a bomb needed to be at least the size of a Fairy Clan member or a Dwarf Elf. How could one be this tiny?

Sensing the shift in the pink-hooded man's expression, Leo Ray chose not to elaborate further.

This wasn't your typical alchemy bomb; it stemmed from a fresh invention blending ancient Dwarf Elf tech with Earth Technology, crafted by the Dwarf Elves and skilled lords. Fresh off the production line, it marked the debut use of Earth Technology in action.

Regrettably, my stock was running low—just over a thousand remained, mostly Tier 5, with only a handful at Tier 6. Had I more, the witch demon forces would already lie in ruins.

On top of that, one odd detail stood out: these fresh-tiered alchemy bombs couldn't be upgraded, unlike their predecessors.

I had no clue yet why that happened, though I suspected it tied to their origins outside this world.

“Still, these advanced alchemy bombs will surely swing the battle in our favor!”

As the foe's neat formation crumbled under the magical blasts, Leo Ray gave a nod to his command team.

Right away, the golem puppet forces surged ahead in a fierce assault, ripping open gap after gap in the enemy's front lines.

“Destroy those wretched contraptions!”

In a frenzy, the witch demon chief barked orders for the leftover undead to blot out the skies, but it proved far too feeble and delayed.

While many of our airborne undead mighty beasts got blasted from the air, the alchemy bombs had already plummeted into the enemy ranks.

With nonstop magical detonations, the surviving witch demons wailed in agony as they dropped, hastening the undead horde's downfall and turning the field into chaos.

Thanks to the combined push from our group, it wasn't long before the golem puppet army encircled the leftover witch demons and undead, flipping the fight entirely on its head.

“You puny humans have no clue what's coming; you'll be ground to powder amid terror and hopelessness!”

Facing the worsening odds, the witch demon chief let out a cold laugh and declared, “Should that great master wish it, not just you, but your entire domain will end up as a wasteland of doom!”

“End this madness now.”

Leo Ray brushed off the enemy's taunts without a second thought, directing his troops to press the advance.

“You insignificant humans, I'll drag you to the grave with me even in death!”

Letting out a furious bellow, the witch demon chief charged at Leo Ray alongside his last defenders.

In a flash, the witch demon chief—whose strength hovered right below Tier 6 Peak—unleashed a crushing presence, his murderous vibe swallowing the heavens.

“You won't touch His Majesty!”

Standing by Leo Ray, Frank gave a icy grunt, deploying his unique ability to counter the undead onslaught.

Swept by that unique force, the enemy's momentum weakened sharply, freezing the witch demon guards and undead in place, isolating just the witch demon chief.

“Young human, you've done enough. Leave this lowly beast to me.”

The impatient pink-hooded man advanced, his pale fingers brushing the empty air as a mighty surge erupted upward, shattering the energy shield around the witch demon chief in an instant and pinning him suspended in the sky with ease.

“Witch demon, now you settle the old blood grudge!”

Gripping his enormous blade, Old Gary unleashed two gleaming silver arcs through the air, sending huge crisscross energy waves straight at the witch demon chief, cleaving him in two and reducing him to a stinking black mist.

Once the witch demon chief perished, our troops swiftly wiped out the rest of the witch demons, restoring calm to the battlefield at last.

“Fellows of the Broken Valley Alliance, I've at long last gained vengeance for you all.”

Old Gary's bony frame shook without cease, though lacking skin and muscle, no tears could flow.

“Grandpa, all those years of slumber and isolation weren't wasted!”

Yoyo wept bitterly, her mind flashing back to the nightmare before her rest—corpses strewn everywhere, witch demons cackling wildly.

Seeing this touching moment, Leo Ray and the rest couldn't hold back a heavy sigh.

A short while later, Old Gary and Yoyo snapped back to reality, remembering the fight pressed on, and steadied themselves.

Old Gary approached, offering a warm thanks to Leo Ray, “Gratitude to you, Human Majesty, for your aid! Yet the true foe lurks onward—allow us to keep fighting by your side!”

As Old Gary finished, Yoyo gave a resolute nod, her pale features set with fierce resolve.

“No need for such courtesy, old chief; onward we go.”

Leo Ray inclined his head faintly, rallying the surviving golem puppets as they ventured deeper into the shadowy void.

This realm stretched wider than anyone imagined, and after a brisk dash, the group returned to that prior battleground.

“A spatial loop. That demon aims to keep us caged here until the enchantment fades.”

The pink-hooded man's grave tone echoed through.

“Sir, can we shatter this loop?”

Leo Ray creased his forehead and questioned right away.

Leo Ray knew all too well that his mighty comrades outside faced grave peril. Every moment stuck here amplified their risks.

“Doing it solo would be tough, but a method exists.”

The pink-hooded man thought for a beat, then stated firmly, “Alright, time to tap my stash; you'll foot the bill!”

With a flick of his hand, the pink-hooded man summoned a cluster of gray-shining magic crystals hovering in the air.

At this sight, all onlookers gaped wide, for the potent energy pulses and pristine, flawless clarity marked them as top-tier space magic crystals, each one a priceless gem!

“Get ready; I'm starting now!”

As he spoke, the pink-hooded man prodded the crystals gently with his wand, weaving them together via a magical formation in short order.

Before long, guided by the pink-hooded man's incantation and command, the suspended crystals scattered, sketching the frame of a colossal portal.

With the pink-hooded man's chant intensifying, the area inside the massive door twisted wildly, then settled, unveiling a fresh dimension.

Within the vast door, eerie white candle flames danced, while beyond lay pitch-black void where nothing could be seen.

As Leo Ray and his companions scanned the view, the crystals outlining the door started fracturing, releasing sharp cracking noises.

“Hurry, I won't sustain it much longer!”

The pink-hooded man, now breathing heavily, pressed Leo Ray and the others.

Hearing this, Leo Ray and his team wasted no time, dashing inside at once with the golem puppets in tow.

Once the pink-hooded man and the thousands of golem puppets had all passed through, the enormous door crumbled fully, dissolving into nothingness.

“Could this be the demon's hideout?”

Yoyo scanned the area warily, refusing to drop her guard, and the others mirrored her caution.

Here, much like earlier, the magical orb offered scant illumination, as though the gloom devoured all light.

After rapidly organizing into formation, right as the group prepared to push on, something shifted suddenly.
