Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2632: 1449: Desperation and Astonishment

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
Leo Ray's group interrogated henchmen to locate Sina in a secret chamber, where they found her chained alongside the treacherous Belinda, both surrounded by swarms of ferocious white eyeballs that emerged from the walls. As the eyeballs launched a deadly assault, Leo Ray and his allies unleashed binding barriers and thunderous attacks, empowered by shared Divine Grace, annihilating the horde despite Belinda's mocking threats and Sina's desperate warnings. After freeing Sina and binding the defiant Belinda, the party rushed back through the passage, only to confront the vast hall now overflowing with tens of thousands of the multiplying eyeballs, their killing intent thickening the air.

Once Leo Ray finished speaking, the brilliant Thunder Arc Burst exploded anew, swiftly expanding outward in every direction. Lannis and his allies showcased their skills, establishing a ring-shaped barrier to support Leo Ray in eliminating the powerful foes nearby.

Boosted by the ongoing Power of Divine Grace, our fighters surged ahead with irresistible force. Their claw attacks and sword swings etched brilliant, savage paths through the air, whipping up powerful energy gusts that warped the surrounding space just a bit.

At the same time, the massive horde of pale monstrous eyeballs was fully prepared, abruptly swelling larger while parting to reveal deep black maws, eager to ravenously consume our group.

In that instant, the vision of endless swelling colossal eyeballs gaping wide was utterly horrifying, sending chills down the spines of the warriors and making their skin crawl.

Fortunately, thanks to the Power of Divine Grace granted by Leo Ray, those odd eyeballs halted their advance every time they neared our fighters, obviously terrified of this formidable force.

What appeared to be a chaotic battle had transformed into an open arena for our warriors to display their talents without restraint, swiftly reducing the deadly eyeballs brimming with murderous intent to dust, vanishing into the atmosphere.

Yet, as their vigor peaked, our warriors were stunned to realize that these eerie white eyeballs possessed the ability to multiply on their own, and their growth rate outpaced our destruction efforts by far.

Even after our fighters unleashed everything they had for some time, with Leo Ray deploying the Thunder Arc Burst for widespread devastation, the enemies' ranks didn't shrink at all—instead, they grew thicker. The way they pressed and swarmed sent shivers across everyone's scalps.

In the midst of this, Leo Ray tried multiple times to guide them in forging a path through the carnage, but each effort failed. Though they dreaded the Power of Divine Grace, the weird white eyeballs multiplied so rapidly that they kept crowding in, even shrinking the span of our protective ring.

It's not an overstatement to claim that absent Leo Ray's Power of Divine Grace, every soul there would have been utterly swallowed up already, with nothing but scraps left behind.

“Your Majesty of the Humans, if things keep going like this, we'll soon run out of all our strength.”

Confronted by the endless swarm of encroaching bizarre white eyeballs, beads of sweat dotted Lannis’s brow as he turned to Leo Ray in haste: “What do we do now?”

“I never imagined these frightful creatures would cling so tenaciously, like a never-ending horror.”

Sina, despite getting the finest care thanks to Leo Ray’s aid, appeared frail and drained, yet she pleaded urgently: “Your Majesty of the Humans, your unique ability ought to let you flee safely. Please, don’t concern yourself with our fate.”

“Desert Leader, our lives are intertwined now, so even if I got away, what difference would it make?”

Leo Ray gave a wry smile, then posed the baffling query from before: “Back in the Secret Chamber, why didn't these odd monsters go after you and Belinda?”

“To tell you the truth, Your Majesty of the Humans, it's something I've wondered about too. These dreadful things have never once targeted me directly.”

Confusion flickered in Sina’s gaze as she shook her head: “At first, I figured these weird eyeballs were just messing with me and Belinda on purpose, but it looks like they’re mindless, driven only by raw hunger to swallow everything.”

Suddenly, as though a memory struck her, Sina’s eyes brightened: “I get it now! Your Majesty of the Humans, it seems they view me as one of them!”

“Oh?”

Leo Ray blinked in surprise at her words, clearly puzzled by what she meant.

“No time for a full rundown, Your Majesty of the Humans—let me take the lead!”

Without a second thought, Sina braced herself and dashed ahead.

As expected, despite venturing outside the reach of Leo Ray’s Divine Grace, the bizarre white eyeballs paid her no mind, even parting to form a slim corridor just for her.

“Everyone, stick right behind the Desert Leader!”

Though puzzled, Leo Ray reacted swiftly, directing Lannis and the rest to trail her closely, stepping beyond the corridor's starting point as well.

Guided by Sina at the front, our team managed to break through. Sure enough, once Sina moved past, the gathered white eyeballs tried to close back up right away, but Leo Ray’s Divine Grace provided the edge needed to squeeze through just in time, rendering the escape hair-raisingly tense.

This was especially true amid the thick clusters of unnerving white eyeballs, where their constricting, squirming forms left everyone queasy, raising bumps all over their skin.

Above all, these entities released a strange, chilling presence that froze people in place. Luckily, Leo Ray’s Divine Grace countered it effectively, keeping its effects on us to a minimum.

Within this spooky and dangerous setting, our group at last made it back to the earlier coronation site, where everything stood exactly as before.
