Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2598: 1431: Dialogue Between Administrators_2

“M, what are you trying to imply with this?”
L’s voice was laced with clear bewilderment, and while K remained silent, his expression was equally perplexed.
“It is like this!”
M gave a confident snort before detailing the mysterious vanishing of Dana and Davis.
“Such an occurrence exists? Based on my understanding of the Forest Fortress Alliance’s leadership, they aren't the type to take such actions.”
Administrator L pondered for a moment, speaking with a thoughtful air.
“Brother L, are you hinting that the Desert Alliance under my jurisdiction is responsible?”
Administrator K folded his arms, his tone sharp with irritation.
“I made no such claim, but it is a fact that powerful figures from the Desert Alliance used personal invitations to disrupt the market during the previous opening. That caused me significant grief and nearly destroyed the Forest Fortress Alliance’s confidence in us!”
Administrator L turned his gaze toward K, retorting aggressively: “I am not mistaken about those events, am I?”
“Those were merely fallen experts who had been cast out of the Desert Alliance; they have had no connection to the Alliance for a long time.”
Administrator K shrugged and countered: “What about you? Didn't you surreptitiously send invitations to my own contacts last time? Such poaching is hardly the behavior of an honorable man.”
“So what? As long as the Bazaar Brotherhood does not explicitly forbid it, I am within my rights.”
Administrator L acted unbothered, stating coolly: “If you hadn't been so careless with your invitations last time, I never would have found the opening.”
“That only happened because my invitation slots were already full; it does not mean I intended to abandon those connections!”
Administrator K’s visor was practically pressed against L’s as they continued their dispute.
“Enough, both of you. This is not the moment for such bickering.”
Seeing the conversation spiral further away from the point, our administrator stepped in to interrupt: “The reason M and I brought these disappearances to your attention is that His Majesty of the Humans has devised a solution for this situation.”
With that, our administrator gave a brief summary of the proposal to organize a high-level market.
“Brother N, did I hear that correctly? Hosting a high-level market necessitates using Tier 6 Equipment as the centerpiece of the trade. Even if the Human Emperor’s wealth has expanded, can he truly provide Tier 6 Equipment?”
Administrator K appeared highly doubtful of the plan's feasibility, adding with a hint of scorn: “Mere Tier 5 Equipment won't be enough to entice the elite of the Desert Alliance.”
“The same applies to the Rainforest Fortress Alliance.”
Administrator L’s voice regained its condescending edge as he agreed: “Brother N, neither of us has the current means to host a high-level market. You shouldn't waste time on such delusions…”
Administrator L’s sentence was cut short as he fell into a stunned silence. Our administrator had just produced two sets of Tier 6 Equipment, leaving both L and K staring in wide-eyed shock.
While they were familiar with Tier 6 Equipment, such treasures had been far beyond their reach ever since their rankings declined. Seeing them now sparked a wave of amazement and deep emotion within them.
“Well? Do you recognize the Human Emperor’s true power now?”
M’s tone turned arrogant once more as he stood beside our administrator.
“Brother L, Brother K, the Human Emperor possesses resources that exceed your wildest dreams. We have gathered you here today specifically to extend the Human Emperor’s goodwill.”
N followed up on the momentum: “If you both collaborate with us to ensure the high-level market is a success, you will naturally receive a generous portion of the profits.”
“Precisely. We are guardians of commerce and merchants by nature; why would we ever turn down a profit?”
M paced slowly in front of L and K, basking in his borrowed influence: “Furthermore, if your efforts impress the Human Emperor, he could use his vast resources to help raise your rankings. With a few good words from us, such a thing is entirely possible!”
Following the coordinated sales pitch from M and our administrator, the confidence of L and K visibly faltered, and they seemed to be wavering.
After a brief pause, K regained his composure and spoke up first: “Ultimately, this is just your side of the story. Owning a few pieces of Tier 6 Equipment doesn't automatically benefit all of us administrators.”
“He is right. And if the Human Emperor actually succeeds in ending the wars and bringing peace, how will we continue to profit without the current chaos?”
L also recovered his wits, nodding his head: “We cannot sacrifice our long-term interests for a quick payout!”
These arguments left M and our administrator momentarily at a loss for words.
M, having only recently joined, didn't truly understand Leo Ray’s full capabilities and was mostly bluffing to earn points.
While our administrator knew Leo Ray better, even he wasn't sure of the total extent of his resources or if he could actually upgrade all four Shadow Markets. He also didn't know if Leo Ray was willing to provide the extra incentives needed to boost so many market ranks.
Just as our administrator was about to attempt another rebuttal, a composed voice echoed from inside the Manager’s Castle: “Administrator, our guests are welcome. Let them all enter.”
It was Leo Ray speaking, having overheard the entire discussion between the administrators.
Leo Ray had stayed hidden specifically to gauge the motivations of the other two administrators. Now that M was loyal and he knew L and K were driven by profit, the path forward was clear.
“?!”
The sudden voice startled M at first, but he quickly realized who it was and looked thrilled.
The Human Emperor had been watching the whole time; surely his performance would be rewarded!
Administrator L and Administrator K traded glances. The Manager’s Castle was a restricted zone, rarely opened even to the leaders of the great powers. This proved the Human Emperor held immense sway here and possessed the complete trust of both M and N.
“As you wish, Human Majesty.”
Our administrator answered immediately, beckoning L and K to follow him inside.
Upon entering the Castle Hall, which was filled with an ancient atmosphere, they found Leo Ray already seated at the head of a meticulously prepared table.
“Everyone, allow me to introduce His Imperial Majesty, the great Emperor of the Humans!”
Our administrator introduced him with a tone of immense pride.
However, despite the administrator’s formal introduction and Leo Ray’s calm outward appearance, he was actually quite alert.
One had to remember that while these four administrators weren't a unified front, they were all Tier 6 Peak Experts. Each one radiated a powerful aura comparable to the Malevolent Deity’s Chosen Son, proving their formidable strength.
If not for the Shadow Market’s neutral status since the Blank Era and the fact that he had already secured our administrators, Leo Ray would not have risked coming here so casually.
Still, Leo Ray held many trump cards, including several Tier 6 Summon Scrolls with Stone Spirits ready to be called forth, giving him plenty of confidence.
After the initial greetings, Administrator K looked Leo Ray over before speaking: “I have long heard of the Human Majesty’s fame; seeing you today confirms your reputation is well-earned. A young dual-Peak Tier 6 Expert is a rarity even among the greatest powers.”
After the pleasantries, K’s voice became serious: “But Your Majesty, what can you actually provide that would make us give up our long-term profits to cooperate with you?”
“Administrator K, I offer you these.”
Leo Ray gave a slight smile and casually waved his hand.
