Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2597: 1431: Conversation Between Administrators

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
To secure the success of his upcoming high-level market, Leo Ray agrees to help the Shadow Market Administrator subdue three rival Administrators from adjacent territories. Using his newfound influence and the promise of Tier 6 equipment, the Administrator successfully intimidates and recruits his peer, Administrator M, who was facing ruin after his own schemes failed. With two of the four market leaders now allied under Leo Ray’s banner, the group prepares to confront the remaining two Administrators to consolidate power over the regional trade networks.

As the shimmering gray radiance dissipated, two sturdy figures accompanied by their retinue materialized, standing before Administrator N and Administrator M.

These newcomers were similarly clad in dark brown heavy armor etched with black patterns, appearing almost identical to our Administrator. However, their gear looked more polished and was evidently better maintained by comparison.

“Brother K, Brother L, decades have passed since the previous market council gathering, hasn't it?”

Stepping forward to greet them first, our Administrator said: “It is truly an honor to have you both accept my invitation; my humble abode is greatly graced by your presence.”

“Not at all, not at all.”

One of the Administrators, possessing a somewhat shrill voice, waved his hand dismissively and spoke with a hint of sarcasm: “Brother N, you are now supported by a rising power. I heard that through your application, the Human Clan has been officially recognized as an invited entity by the Bazaar Brotherhood, is that correct?”

“Haha, Brother L is right. Under the leadership of His Majesty of the Humans, the Human Clan has long since undergone a transformation. Even without my invitation, the elders of the Brotherhood would have taken notice eventually.”

Our Administrator laughed and puffed out his chest with pride, stating, “I am merely favored by His Majesty. He has declared that in the future, all official market exchanges for the Humans will be my responsibility!”

The two visiting Administrators exchanged a look upon hearing the smug tone of our Administrator.

Though they were loath to admit it, the Human Clan's sudden ascent was indeed startling.

Particularly before the Humans had even set foot in the Outer Region, they had managed to eradicate the infamous “Blood Dark Tree” technique and its creator, a legend dating back to the Silver Moon Era.

Following that, the Emperor of the Human Race, who spearheaded their rise, utilized the support of the Dwarf Elf, Flower Fairy, and Treant to drive away the dragon flight that had occupied Mist Dream Peak for ages.

Later, the Emperor not only commanded a mysterious force to crush the Witch Demon Grand Army but also forced the Flower Fairy, Troll, Minotaur, and Dragonborn to submit. Their alliance with the powerhouses of the Light Half-Elf was even more incredible.

Today, while the Humans have not yet formally claimed a leadership role, it is clear to any observer that the tribes near the Gleaming Rift Valley in the Outer Region likely view the Emperor of the Human Race with the highest respect.

Furthermore, one specific detail must be noted.

The rapid progression of the Human Clan and the abundance of Tier 5 Equipment and other resources displayed on the battlefield clearly exceeded the capabilities of even certain Second-tier Powers.

Even the foundations of the allied Dwarf Elf and Flower Fairy grew significantly afterward, a fact confirmed by those observing the battlefields.

All of these factors contributed to Administrator N’s immense confidence.

To be honest, previously, no matter how many invitations our Administrator sent, they would never have associated with a low-ranking entity like us. Now, however, they naturally dared not show any contempt.

Still, the mystery remained: how did the Emperor of the Human Race accomplish such feats?

While they remained puzzled, Administrator L’s piercing voice sounded again, inquiring: “Brother N, did the Emperor of the Human Race stumble upon a Treasure Vault belonging to the Ancient Human Tribe?”

“Indeed, that is the most plausible theory.”

A deeper voice agreed as Administrator K added: “Furthermore, while it is said that the otherworldly Lords arriving among the Human Clan are exceptionally gifted and possess many miraculous powers, it is hard to believe such unfathomable talents could exist, isn't it?”

“Haha, Brother L, Brother K, there is no need for you to fret over such matters. Investigating the source of trade goods is a violation of the Shadow Market’s ironclad rules.”

Raising his fully enclosed battle helmet, our Administrator replied.

“Brother N is absolutely correct. It is enough for us to recognize that His Majesty of the Humans possesses extraordinary wealth, surpassing even some Second-tier Powers.”

Administrator M, who was now on our side, quickly chimed in: “This is a rare chance; as long as we satisfy His Majesty of the Humans, we shall all gain immense rewards!”

Hearing M’s remarks, L and K exchanged another glance, realizing that not only N, but M had also sided with the Human Clan.

“Gentlemen, I suspect the situation is not quite that simple, is it?”

Administrator K looked at M and commented casually: “Currently, both the Desert Alliance I oversee and the Rainforest Fortress Alliance under Brother L are on the verge of war with the Emperor of the Human Race. Once the fighting starts, it is uncertain who will come out on top.”

Though Administrator K did not speak with certainty, his slightly mocking tone indicated he didn't expect us to be the victors.

This was hardly surprising; from a pure strength perspective, a massive gap indeed existed. Even with a surplus of high-tier equipment, without powerful warriors to use them, their true potential cannot be realized.

“Brother L, Brother K, even if your forces hold the advantage, using such underhanded methods is rather disgraceful, don't you think?”

Faced with K’s arrogance, M retorted with a tone of righteous anger.

His fervor was even more intense than that of our Administrator N.
