"Indeed, I managed to secure two incredibly vital rewards during the recent comprehensive upgrade!"
As Leo Ray turned his hand, a pair of remarkably exquisite and compact scrolls materialized in his palm.
Though these scrolls were smaller than standard skill or magic scrolls, they emitted an undeniable pulse of energy. They were none other than two formulas for Tier 5 magical potions capable of providing permanent strength enhancements!
“These two Tier 5 magical potion formulas were evolved from Tier 4 versions. One was acquired from the Dragonborn, while the other was salvaged as loot from the Lord Arena. They cater specifically to physical-type and magic-type powerhouses, respectively. This perfectly fills our void in manufacturing Tier 5 permanent enhancement medicines.”
“If these medicines can be successfully crafted and then subjected to my talent upgrades, I will certainly possess the means to consistently reach the Tier 6 expert level and cultivate a vast number of Tier 5 powerhouses. This represents an epic level of advancement!”
With these thoughts racing through his mind, a look of genuine delight surfaced on Leo Ray’s face.
Regarding the recipient of these formulas, the choice was obviously the former Alchemist Guild Leader, Yonir. Furthermore, Leo Ray already had multiple sets of the rare heavenly treasures required for these two potions in his possession.
“Since Yonir is currently managing affairs at the Alchemical City-Pool, I should pay him a personal visit. It will also give me a chance to inspect the current state of the Alchemical City-Pool.”
Having made his decision, Leo Ray immediately reached out to Frost, who was waiting in Ice Stone City, and commanded the creature to remain stationed at the Royal Capital's city gate.
Just as Leo Ray prepared to depart after finalizing the arrangements, Ariel Watson bit her crimson lips and asked softly: “Lord, you have been toiling all day; are you heading out once more?”
“My apologies, a matter of great importance just crossed my mind.”
Observing her pale countenance, which was etched with worry and a hint of solitude, Leo Ray smiled warmly: “Would Her Majesty the Queen do me the honor of accompanying me?”
“I am willing! Of course, I am willing!”
Ariel Watson’s beautiful face instantly lit up with a radiant, joyful smile. With a graceful movement of her slender frame, she swapped her formal Queen’s attire for a more practical set of red casual clothes.
Under the glow of the stars, the two flew swiftly out of the Royal Capital. Guided by Ariel Watson’s company, Leo Ray soon reached Ice Stone City and waited by the gates.
Following a flash of azure light, the massive gates of Ice Stone City swung open to reveal an entirely new vista to Leo Ray and Ariel Watson: Royal Thunderlight City, the primary hub of the three Alchemical City-Pools.
The name was a tribute to its founder, Leo Ray, the Emperor of the Human Race and a master of thunder-attribute magic.
“We greet Your Majesty (Lord)!”
Standing at the entrance were Yonir, the three Alchemist Sages, Gals, Joshua Bingaman, Orion Wolfe, and other premier alchemists of the Human Clan. They were joined by several prominent Lord talents and a diverse group of alchemists—including Dwarf Elves, Wood Fairies, Flower Fairies, Dragonborn, Trolls, and Minotaurs—who had traveled to the Human Domain for knowledge exchange. Every one of them saluted with hands pressed to their chests, their expressions full of reverence.
The group then offered their salutations to Ariel Watson. Even though she was the queen of a specific nation, her profound bond with Leo Ray was well-known, even among the alchemists from distant regions.
“There is no need for such ceremony; I simply decided to visit on a whim.”
Leo Ray nodded with a smile and followed Yonir into the city.
Beside him, Ariel Watson remained close, clutching Leo Ray’s arm with the sweet, dependent air of a companion.
Upon reaching the inner gate, Leo Ray observed that the sentries consisted not only of soldiers from the Sanders Family but also numerous heavily armed Alchemy Puppets standing in perfect formation.
Notably, Leo Ray saw no controllers nearby, yet these specialized guards moved autonomously and even offered him a respectful salute.
“Your Majesty, after you entrusted the ancient Dwarf Elf Alchemical Puppet Legion to the Dwarf Elf Sovereign, they promptly dispatched their finest alchemist ministers to collaborate with us. We have been analyzing the various modules of those ancient puppets together.”
Yonir’s aged voice echoed as he nodded toward Leo Ray, explaining: “With the assistance of the Lord scientists, we successfully decoded the mechanisms. After making several refinements and conducting trials, these Alchemical Golem Guards were produced as part of our test run.”
“I see. It appears we will soon command an intelligent Alchemical Puppet Legion comparable to that of the ancient Dwarf Elves. This will surely conserve significant manpower typically used for puppet control and prove invaluable in unique combat environments.”
Leo Ray watched the Alchemical Golem Guards salute in unison at the gate, nodding his head in approval: “You have all worked very hard.”
“Your Majesty, you praise us too highly. This is only possible because of your unwavering support, your unification of the Human Clan, and the peerless abundance of resources you provide.”
Yonir’s lined, elderly face beamed with excitement as he gestured broadly: “It is no exaggeration to claim that within this brief period, the alchemy technology of the Human Clan has scaled heights that previous generations could not reach in three thousand years!”
As Yonir spoke, the surrounding alchemists nodded along, their faces filled with newfound vigor.
