Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2563: 1413: Shock and Return (Part 2)
Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
Leo Ray handed the storage rings over with a light smile and a steady gaze.
He was well aware that as an Overlord-level Lord, the other man's foundation was far too shallow; the path ahead of him would be significantly more treacherous than Leo's own. As fellow Lords of the Summer Realm, it was only natural for Leo Ray to extend a helping hand.
“Thank you so much, Liam Sanders!”
Meeting Leo Ray’s firm, indisputable look, Ethan Young gripped the storage rings tightly. His hands shook uncontrollably from the sheer intensity of his emotions.
Beside him, Qunnie Young was also overflowing with gratitude, her words tumbling out in a disorganized, incoherent mess.
Though they remained unaware of the rings' exact contents, they believed that even a few Tier 4 pieces of equipment would be a generous gift worthy of their eternal thanks. To them, the gesture alone was immense!
“Go on, bind them and use your perception to take a look.”
Leo Ray kept a faint smile on his face as he watched the siblings’ frantic excitement.
“Then I shall respectfully comply!”
Ethan Young forced himself to calm down. Once the binding process was finished, he began to probe the contents of the storage rings with his mind.
Barely a second into his inspection, Ethan Young’s eyes snapped wide, filled with pure shock. “This is...?!”
As he cried out, a brand-new long spear shimmering with rich, iridescent colors appeared in his grasp. The spearhead was lethally sharp and pulsed with a faint blue glow. Compared to this, his previous Tier 5 Long Spear looked like nothing more than a piece of rusted scrap metal.
“Such intense iridescence... I have never seen anything like it. Could this be a Tier 6 Divine Weapon?!”
The old Priest nearly jumped out of his skin in surprise, the words blurting out of his mouth.
“It is indeed a Tier 6 Divine Weapon—and there is more than one!”
Gazing at the attribute display, Ethan Young nodded numbly. He flipped his palm again, and a vibrant short magic wand appeared.
A glittering purple gemstone was set into the tip of the wand. The moment it manifested, the faint rumble of thunder echoed through the air. The exquisite craftsmanship made the wand’s design look incredibly fluid; it was a flawless masterpiece of magical art.
“A Tier 6 Wand with Thunder Attribute magic enhancement?!”
Qunnie Young’s eyes sparkled as she stared at the item's attributes, her voice failing her once more. This was the legendary magic artifact she had always fantasized about owning!
“There is more—there are even more things...”
With an expression mirrored by his sister, Ethan Young continued to pull out a Tier 6 Longsword, a Tier 6 Longbow, and several other Tier 6 Divine Weapons, including a Tier 6 Long Wand perfectly suited for the old Priest.
As for the Tier 5 Equipment, Ethan Young simply swept his hand, and they began to pile up into a literal mountain. The powerful warriors under his command stood there, completely dumbfounded.
One had to realize that most of these soldiers were still using Tier 4 Equipment. Tier 6 Divine Weapons were objects of myth to them, and they had never even imagined seeing such a massive hoard of Tier 5 gear in their wildest dreams!
Watching the Young siblings and their followers descend into a state of total shock, Leo Ray maintained his calm smile.
He had simply taken the spoils of 20 sets of Tier 5 gear and used his talent to upgrade them into 10 sets of Tier 6 Equipment and over 1,000 sets of Tier 5 Equipment.
The rings also contained a vast amount of Tier 4 gear, high-tier magic medicines, and Magic Scrolls. These resources were enough to bolster the Young family’s foundation until they easily eclipsed every third-class power in the Outer Region.
“Brother Liam, these are Tier 6 Divine Weapons and so much National Level equipment. Are you certain you want us to have them? Could there be a mistake?”
After fighting to regain her composure, Qunnie Young asked Leo Ray in a hesitant tone.
Ethan Young, meanwhile, was paralyzed with silence, his mind once again lost in the orgy of high-tier items within the storage rings.
“Take them. You have earned this.”
Leo Ray nodded slightly, his voice firm.
“But this equipment is like a dream. Brother Liam, you should keep such things for yourself.”
Still unable to believe it, Qunnie Young instinctively looked toward Leo Ray's own subordinates.
She noticed that their gear showed no sign of iridescence at all, making it impossible for her to determine the actual tier of their weapons.
Leo Ray chuckled softly and nodded, gesturing for them to secure the items.
He had previously ordered his subordinates to hide the iridescence of their gear to avoid drawing unwanted attention.
Consequently, even though his entire team was outfitted in Tier 6 Equipment, no one noticed. Tier 6 gear was simply too rare; even if someone recognized the superior craftsmanship, they wouldn't dare assume it was Tier 6 without proof.
“Then we shall rely on your generosity, Brother Liam.”
Qunnie Young took a deep breath, her face full of wonder. “Perhaps Brother Liam is just as powerful as the legendary Leo Ray; it is truly incredible.”
“Perhaps.”
Hearing his own name, Leo Ray merely gave a small shrug.
He looked over at his subordinates who were finishing the cleanup of the battlefield and turned back to the siblings. “Alright, the time has come. We must return to our own territories.”
“Understood, Liam Sanders. We will never forget your kindness!”
Snapping out of his daze, Ethan Young spoke up and prepared to lead Qunnie in a formal, grand salute to Leo Ray.
Leo Ray had done more than just save their lives and help them escape the Lord Arena; he had provided them with a fortune in equipment and resources.
With this support, their shattered territory could recover at lightning speed, and they would be able to expand into the Outer Region without fear!
“Skip the formalities. Like I said, you deserve these things.”
Leo Ray stopped them from bowing and offered a final warning. “Remember the saying: ‘A man with treasure invites jealousy.’ Keep a low profile and do not let other factions see what you have.”
“I understand perfectly, Liam Sanders!”
Ethan Young nodded heavily, his expression serious. “I will not waste your gift. I will put these resources to the best possible use!”
“Good. I hope our paths cross again in the future, and that you don't disappear along the way.”
Leo Ray reached out his hand earnestly. “I look forward to the day we can fight side by side once more.”
“Do not worry, Liam Sanders. The Lords of the Summer Realm do not quit easily. A difficult path only forges us into something stronger.”
Ethan Young gripped Leo Ray’s hand tightly, the two of them sharing a moment of mutual strength.
As the handshake ended and Leo Ray turned to depart, the anxious voices of Ethan and Qunnie called out together from behind him, “Liam Sanders, can we add you as a friend?”
Leo Ray paused and turned back around.
He had considered this before. Because the cross-regional Chat Channel was locked, he hadn't been able to contact Lords in other regions or add them to his list.
However, the Lord Arena had bypassed that restriction, making it possible to stay in touch with the Young siblings.
If we can connect as friends, we might be able to stay in contact. This would give me another valuable source of information from other regions!
With that thought, Leo Ray smiled at them. “Very well. Send the requests.”
Moments later, Leo Ray received two face-to-face friend notifications.
After checking the alerts, Leo Ray headed toward the Teleportation Gate, quickly vanishing into the light along with his warriors.
Only after Leo Ray had completely disappeared did a loud notification ring in the ears of the Young siblings.
[Lord 0013076067 Leo Ray has accepted your friend request!]
The siblings froze in place, staring at each other in a state of absolute, paralyzing shock.
To think that the entire time, they had been traveling with the world-renowned Leo Ray and had received such incredible help from him. It was a staggering honor and a stroke of unbelievable luck!
Meanwhile, Leo Ray had already crossed back to the City of Ten Thousand Ships. Bruno and his men had received word ahead of time and were already waiting with the sails raised.
By the way, I still haven't had a moment to really inspect that treasure.
Leo Ray thought to himself as he walked toward the waiting ship.
