Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2541 1402: Shoulder to Shoulder

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
A group of powerhouses from the Summer Realm, including the Young siblings, falls into a desperate struggle against an apparently invincible opponent and his Tier 6 subordinates. Just as they face total annihilation, Leo Ray intervenes, revealing that the entire slaughter was merely a targeted illusion created by a deceitful fat Lord. After dispelling the mental trap and neutralizing the enemy’s hidden minions, Leo Ray executes the scheming Lord before he can recycle his abilities. Though the rescued group is eager to thank their savior, Leo Ray maintains his guard and prepares to push deeper into the cabin.

As Leo Ray, Ethan Young, and Qunnie Young came together, the two groups quickly developed a mutual understanding.

Ethan and Qunnie, in particular, were relentless in their expressions of appreciation. Within the lethal environment of the Lord Arena, encountering a fellow Lord from their own homeland sparked a sense of kinship, especially since Leo Ray had just stepped in to save their lives.

In the face of the siblings' constant gratitude, Leo Ray maintained a polite smile. However, he chose to keep his true identity concealed, introducing himself only as Christopher.

There was a primary reason behind Leo Ray's caution.

The name Leo Ray had already become legendary among a billion Lords. If his true status were revealed, it was certain that other Lords would unite to oppose him, and foreign Lords might even form an alliance specifically to eliminate him.

The logic behind such a reaction was simple to grasp.

Just as he had long foreseen the eventual clash of different plates, other Lords were thinking along the same lines.

Given the current circumstances, anyone capable of reaching this stage was an overlord-level Lord within their own domain, possessing insights that far exceeded those of common Lords.

This meant every Lord present understood that killing a rival now meant removing a dangerous future enemy. Without a doubt, he was the most prominent target, making such a confrontation inevitable.

Under these conditions, whether foreign Lords teamed up against him or conspired to snatch the treasures, both were far worse outcomes than the current free-for-all chaos, which remained the most favorable scenario.

"Chris, your team is certainly quite special."

Qunnie Young clearly took Leo Ray’s alias at face value, sighing with a look of pure amazement.

A diverse group surrounded Leo Ray, including a few powerful humans, Jess himself, Broy, Konet, and other Dwarf Elves, alongside Alchemy Puppets and several Treant elders like Shuert. This strange assembly of ten Tier 6 combat powers was currently securing the perimeter and clearing the field, a complex mix that piqued Qunnie's curiosity.

"It's alright; I was simply lucky to have their help to reach this point," Leo Ray replied with a faint smile.

Meanwhile, Little Jie, Xiao Jing, other Ancient Dark Elves, Flower Fairies, Wood Fairies, and portions of the Dragonborn and Troll forces remained hidden in the shadows, never showing themselves.

By utilizing the stealth techniques of the Ancient Dark Elves and Invisibility Cloaks, combined with the dim lighting and chaotic energy of the area, they were able to stay completely undetected.

This tactical arrangement was designed to maintain a hidden trump card.

"Your Majesty, the battlefield has been cleared."

Yonir bowed as he reported to Leo Ray. Having defeated their enemies, they naturally claimed the right to gather the loot.

"Time is short; let us move out immediately."

Leo Ray gave a nod, signaling the group to take their positions and advance.

"Chris, could you take us with you?" Ethan Young asked urgently, seeing them prepare to leave.

Even though Leo Ray only displayed ten Tier 6 combat powers openly, such a force was overwhelming to Ethan and Qunnie, who possessed only three Tier 6 combat powers between them.

"That's right, Chris, we definitely won't be a burden!" Qunnie added, her pale face filled with hope as she nodded repeatedly.

Hearing their request, a glint of evaluation appeared in Leo Ray's eyes.

He had been observing their strength from the very beginning.

This brother and sister pair consisted of a Tier 6 One-star and a Half-step Tier 6, meaning their Cultivation ranks actually exceeded his own current level.

Of course, given his array of skills and secret techniques, typical Tier 6 experts posed little threat to him, so that wasn't his main concern.

What interested him was their earlier sincere explanation that they both possessed combat-type Talents, which allowed them to reach their current heights.

"In my domain, Quinn Serena is already a standout with her combat-type Talent, yet she only reached the Tier 4 Peak with my assistance. Looking at these siblings, their Talents must be truly extraordinary."

"It is possible that Quinn Serena and the others also have similar potential, a power that shouldn't be overlooked."

"Furthermore, their gear and armor seemed incredibly poor, matching the original standards of the Human Domain, which suggests they weren't lying. As for their other companions, aside from the two Tier 6 fighters, they weren't worth much notice."

"While such a group wouldn't be a massive boost to my strength, they might cause opponents to drop their guard, which could be useful."

"However, those aren't the main points; they also carry the bloodline of the Summer Realm, and that fact alone is enough."

With these thoughts in mind, Leo Ray gave a slight nod. "It is possible, but you must realize there is ultimately only one treasure."

"I understand your meaning, Chris; we aren't looking for riches, we just want to get out of here alive."

Ethan Young caught the implication immediately and nodded solemnly. "Back home, the vulnerable people of the Human Domain are still waiting for us. We have only just cleared the darkness and brought them hope after so long; we cannot fail them now."
