Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2539 1401: Taking Action and the True Face of the Opponent

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
Siblings Ethan and Qunnie debate whether to press forward in the Lord Arena, drawing motivation from the legendary reputation of Leo Ray despite the grim rules of the competition. Their advance into the depths of a ship cabin is halted by a series of magical traps, forcing them to choose between a narrow, dark passage and a wide, trap-laden hall. After deciding on the main route, they realize too late that the clearing of traps was a lure to draw them into an ambush. Surrounded by shadows, they are confronted by a sinister rival Lord whose overwhelming power threatens their very survival.

Sweat rolled down Ethan Young’s forehead as he gripped his Long Spear within the shadows of the damp, murderously tense cabin. He stood his ground, glaring at the tall, thin Lord who watched him with a sneering expression.

He was acutely aware of his surroundings; at least thirty distinct presences, each radiating the suffocating aura of a Tier 6 expert, hemmed him in. These powerful surges of Qi lashed out unrestrained, thickening the air until it felt nearly impossible to breathe.

The most terrifying figure, however, was the robust Lord himself. Bare-chested and built like an explosive Berserker, his physique was incredibly solid. The Raw power emanating from him was so intense it visibly warped the space around him, proving his strength far exceeded that of the surrounding Tier 6 subordinates.

Despite having reached the Tier 6 realm himself, Ethan Young felt a deep, instinctive sense of powerlessness. On his own territory, he was hailed as the most talented Lord, yet in the presence of this adversary, he felt utterly insignificant.

"Brother, what should we do?"

Qunnie Young bit her lip hard, her face pale as she realized the sheer magnitude of their opponent's strength.

The experts flanking the Young siblings wore grim expressions. They felt like prey cornered by a monstrous beast they couldn't escape, and they struggled to regulate their breathing, afraid that even a loud gasp might trigger their doom.

"At this point, we can only fight to the death."

Attempting to steady his nerves, Ethan Young nodded to Qunnie and the others. "Capture the ringleader first. We have to take that man down before we do anything else."

Upon hearing Ethan’s command, the gathered experts and Qunnie Young tightened their hold on their weapons. They steeled themselves in silence, though the lower-ranking members of the group couldn't stop their hands from trembling under the pressure of the enemy’s aura.

"Oh? Still refusing to surrender? I was actually considering granting you a quick death."

The robust Lord’s expression grew more sinister. He cracked his knuckles and shook his head with disdain. "Fine then. I’ll give you a chance to understand how truly worthless you are. Die in a state of pure fear and despair!"

With a sharp gesture, the Lord signaled his eager men to stay back. Then, moving with the weight of a crashing mountain, he lunged forward, his presence bearing down on Ethan Young’s group like an unstoppable tide.

"Go!"

Ethan Young gritted his teeth and charged, leveling his Long Spear at the man's vitals. In an instant, the robust Lord swung a massive axe, closing the distance with terrifying speed.

BOOM!

A thunderous collision of energies erupted, causing the entire cabin structure to groan and shake. In that moment of impact, Ethan felt like a mere ant trying to halt a speeding carriage. He was powerless to resist the momentum; his Tier 5 elite Long Spear shattered into fragments under the weight of the blow.

A second later, his Energy Barrier was pulverized, and he was sent spiraling through the air like a discarded toy.

THUD!

Ethan slammed into the cabin wall with a sickening thud before collapsing into a heap. The metallic taste of blood filled his mouth as he coughed it up. Both of his arms were mangled and bloody, rendered completely numb by the shock.

The exchange had happened so fast that by the time Qunnie and the others could move, Ethan was already at death's door, his combat capability stripped away entirely.

A freezing chill ran through the hearts of the survivors, leaving them paralyzed with shock. The old Duke and the elderly Tier 6 archer stared in disbelief.

They remembered how Ethan Young, freshly ascended to Tier 6, had soloed two Tier 6 Alchemical Golems during the Battle against the Corrosion Duke, securing their victory. Now, that same invincible warrior had been broken by a single strike. It was a suffocating realization.

"Brother!!"

Qunnie Young’s eyes turned a frantic, blood-red hue. She swung her Magic Wand toward the robust Lord, summoning a Magic Giant Dragon draped in violet light to strike him down.

However, the Lord simply threw a punch. The imposing dragon shattered upon contact, vanishing into nothingness. Following her lead, the old Duke unleashed a Holy Light Judgment and the archer fired an Arrow Rain, but these too were brushed aside effortlessly. None of the attacks, especially those from the lower-tier warriors, could leave even a scratch on him.

Against such overwhelming power, their efforts were meaningless.

"Is that the best you can do?"

The robust Lord laughed wildly, his face twisted in mockery. "What happened to all that brave talk?"

His green eyes narrowed as his gaze traveled lecherously over Qunnie Young’s slender frame, which her loose Magic Robes failed to fully hide.

"Do not be so arrogant! Even if we fall today, we will never submit to you!"

Disgusted by his predatory stare, Qunnie Young funneled her mana into her Magic Wand, leading the remaining experts in one final, desperate assault.
