Endless Evolution: Last Star Chapter 1475 - Capítulo 1475: Next Plans

Their final activity, a game of bowling, concluded thirty minutes later.
Each of them stared at the electronic scoreboard as Alexia executed the final roll, eager to see the final rankings.
4th Place – Alexia, 120 points. 3rd Place – Adam, 149 points. 2nd Place – Louis, 166 points. 1st Place – Silvana, 171 points.
Silvana beamed with satisfaction the moment the scores flashed. While her performance was merely average by professional standards, she was just a regular person with only a handful of bowling experiences under her belt.
Clap. Clap. Clap.
Adam applauded her efforts. “Well played, Silvana. Damn, you nearly outscored Alexia by fifty percent.”
Tick.
Alexia’s brow twitched. She whipped around, her face twisted in a deep scowl.
“I’ll hit at least 200 next time, just wait! I was plagued by bad luck during the first few rounds, and by then, catching up to your score was impossible!”
Louis gave a small nod of agreement.
“Actually, Silvana, that was impressive. You would have been touching professional levels if you had landed just one or two more strikes.”
Silvana averted her gaze, a faint blush creeping onto her cheeks.
“Yeah, thanks. I have to admit, it was enjoyable. Not just the bowling, but our entire time at the casino.”
Alexia’s eyes suddenly widened as a realization struck her.
“Louis! We’re rich again! Let’s head back to the roulette table!”
A cold shiver ran down Louis’s spine. He shook his head firmly and started walking straight toward the exit.
Alexia dashed after him, clutching his arm in an attempt to sway him.
“Please! Just one more round! My luck is definitely turning! I’ll put it all on black and double our credits!” she cried out, tugging at his sleeve like a stubborn child.
Louis remained completely unresponsive. He understood that ignoring her was his only path to safety. To agree would be to fall into another trap, ensuring they wouldn't leave for hours—and most likely with empty pockets.
“Are you two coming?” He glanced back at Silvana and Adam. “I think it’s time to call it a day with these gamblers. At least for now.”
Adam and Silvana traded smiles and followed closely behind him.
Alexia continued her relentless persuasion all the way to the exit, even as Louis was busy converting their chips back into credits. She even attempted to use her feminine charms to seduce him, but… Louis was immune to such tactics.
After all, beauty wasn't the reason he had chosen Alexia as a partner. While such a strategy might work on most men, it held no power over Louis.
Step. Step. Step.
They soon exited the gambling den. Once they reached the skyscraper’s main lobby, Alexia stepped away and let out a long, heavy sigh.
“Shit…” She turned slowly toward Louis. “I’m craving pancakes! Let’s find somewhere cozy.”
The moment Alexia accepted that the casino trip was over, she conceded and dropped the subject. Truthfully, without Louis’s firm hand, she probably wouldn't have stopped until she had lost every last credit, or at least ten million.
“Sure, I’m getting hungry too, but we have one thing to settle first.”
Louis looked toward Adam and Silvana.
“I’m glad we ran into you. I look forward to potential collaborations in the future.”
Adam nodded. “Definitely. Knowing that a Phantom I once hunted monsters with is still active and keeping pace with me is a great motivator.”
Step.
Alexia leaned in as she stepped forward.
“Speaking of which, when is your next trip to the Dead Lands? I want to see what you can really do. Your performance last time was amazing, but you’ve grown much stronger since then, haven't you?”
She wore a confident smirk.
“I've watched some footage of your recent fights. You’ve become even more reckless. I like that.”
Louis’s expression darkened. “Actually, it’s a problem. You both suffer from the same flaw. Although… based on what I’ve heard about other K4-Phantoms, it seems to be a trend. You simply don't grasp the potential risks.”
“Pffft!” Alexia snorted in derision.
She moved to Louis’s side and gave him a playful nudge with her elbow.
“Come on, don't you enjoy watching me crush powerful monsters? If I spent as much time worrying about safety and strategy as you do, I’d be lucky to have reached K2-Level by now.”
Louis simply crossed his arms in response.
“Whatever. Silvana, you have my contact info. Remember that we can reach out at any time.”
“Understood.” Silvana offered a smile. “I’m not sure how long Adam plans to stay in the Citadel before heading back to the Dead Lands, but if our objectives align, we can certainly coordinate.”
“Excellent.”
Louis turned to Alexia and gestured for her to follow.
“Alright, let’s go hunt down those pancakes.”
“Yay!” Alexia cheered, skipping after him.
Before they got too far, Alexia spun around and stuck her tongue out at Adam.
“Just you wait, Adam! I’ll hit the Second Rank before you do and—!”
Before she could finish her boast, Louis grabbed her by the ear and dragged her away like a misbehaving toddler.
“Hahahahaha!” Silvana burst into laughter, unable to contain herself at the sight of the comical pair. “Can you imagine if we acted like that?”
“Well…” Adam shrugged, watching their retreating figures. “We aren't that different from them, though maybe not quite as extreme.”
“Oh, come on, they’re a wonderful couple.” She gave his shoulder a light poke.
“Hah, I know. I’m only joking. Honestly, they’re the only Phantom & Operator pair who actually became a couple after starting as partners. When we first met them, they were just like us. Simply a Phantom and an Operator, nothing more.”
Silvana sighed, a smile touching her lips as she gazed at the distant moon. Night had fully descended.
“Just a Phantom and Operator? It’s only the beginning, but it’s an incredibly vital step.”
“So…” Adam turned to face her. “What’s our next move? Should we go find something delicious to eat as well?”
Silvana gave a mischievous smile. She had no intention of ending her time with Adam yet. It had been far too long since they had seen each other.
“Maybe.”
