Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1334 Risk of Ascension!

With a firm yet gentle expression, Max gave them a slow nod. "I will be waiting for you as well," he spoke softly, pausing to let out a small sigh before adding, "However, I would prefer if you didn't push yourselves too hard. If you can just wait for me for five or perhaps ten years, I will return to fetch you."
A silent weight settled in his chest as he uttered those words. Based on the explanations Freya had provided, the process of ascension was not something he could manipulate or circumvent. He was forbidden from bringing other humans through the ascension tunnel during the transition. In this particular scenario, Life Space Rings were completely ineffective, and even his Dimension of Spirit was too risky to utilize carelessly.
Should he attempt to ascend while hiding humans inside Life Space Rings, the violent pressure generated by the tunnel would instantly shatter the rings, resulting in the certain death of everyone within.
The logic behind this was brutally straightforward. His current Life Space Rings were of the lowest quality, never designed to withstand the overwhelming forces of an ascension tunnel. Had the tunnel remained fractured, he might have bypassed the protocol entirely, being pulled straight into the anchoring realm connected to his soul.
However, now that the ascension tunnel was fully restored, the laws of the world were non-negotiable. He was bound to traverse the tunnel first before any anchoring effects could take place.
Max had previously interrogated Freya regarding the Dimension of Spirit. He had entertained the hope that the world within him functioned differently and could act as a sanctuary for humans during the journey. Her response, however, had been blunt and certain.
The ascension tunnel acted as a sophisticated filter. It scrutinized the ascending entity and calculated the number of human lifeforms attempting to cross. If it sensed additional humans or humanoid beings concealed within another, the ascension would fail immediately. Even more dangerous was the threat of divine punishment—a risk Freya refused to let him take.
When Max inquired about the other entities living in his Dimension of Spirit, Freya’s tone had been more relaxed. The scanning process of the ascension tunnel specifically targeted humans and humanoid forms. Spirits and similar beings were categorized differently.
Such existences did not even require the use of a tunnel to reach the Divine Realm. Provided they possessed sufficient power, they were free to move between realms without restriction.
Recalling these facts, Max gazed at Alice and Lenavira with a quiet determination. Regardless of his desires, he could not bring them along right now. His only option was to vow to return with greater strength, ensuring that when they finally reached the Divine Realm, it would be done safely and without complications.
His hesitation to let them ascend on their own stemmed from a deep-seated worry. If Alice and Lenavira were to ascend independently, there was no guarantee they would land in the same world within the Divine Realm as he did.
The Divine Realm was an unfathomable expanse, teeming with diverse realms, factions, and entities capable of crushing mortals like insects. If they were to arrive in a hostile or unknown divine world and face peril, Max would be powerless to reach them. He would have no way to protect them or interfere, even if he were aware of their plight. That was a risk he found intolerable.
Consequently, Max preferred they not ascend at all for the time being. He wanted them to cultivate and grow within the safety of Acaris until they hit the absolute peak of the Divine Rank without crossing over. Only with enough personal strength to defend themselves would ascension be truly viable. Even then, he wanted them to stay behind and wait for him.
There was a secondary reason that fueled Max's confidence. He sensed that his class was unique among all others. As the Dimensional Keeper, his authority extended beyond mere control over space.
He suspected that a specific dimension existed within him designed for humans—a protected realm where they could live without being obliterated by divine pressure. When he questioned Tian about this, Tian confirmed his theory. Such a realm did exist within his soul, but it was currently sealed. These deeper dimensions would only begin to manifest once Max’s power exceeded the Divine Rank.
Tian had also provided a stern warning regarding the ascension tunnel. Its ability to filter humans was absolute. It would unfailingly detect any hidden human life and react with either rejection or divine retribution.
Because of this, Tian gave Max strong advice against bringing humans into the Dimension of Spirit during his ascent, no matter how secure it seemed. However, Tian did share a vital piece of information.
The specific dimension meant for humans was unique. Rather than being a simple storage area or hidden pocket, it was a fundamental aspect of Max’s power as a Dimensional Keeper. Once he unlocked it, this space would be capable of bypassing any human filtration or scanning, allowing him to ignore the restrictions of the ascension tunnel.
With this knowledge, Max felt certain of his path. There was no need for haste; he simply required time. Once he reached the higher realm, increased his Cultivation, and accessed those deeper dimensions, he could safely transport Alice and Lenavira to the Divine Realm without endangering their lives against the harsh laws of the world.
"Wait for you?" Alice asked in a soft voice, her eyes searching his for a sign of certainty.
Max gave a confident nod, his eyes steady. "I have a method to bring you both to the Divine Realm safely," he explained. "But I need time to reach the necessary level of power. It will take five years at the minimum, and ten at the most. I cannot force the process."
Alice remained quiet for a moment before a gentle smile graced her face. It held no sign of resentment, only trust and acceptance. "We would likely need that much time anyway," she replied softly. "I doubt either of us could reach the summit of the Divine Rank in less than five years. Even ten years is a reasonable timeframe, so we can wait. But you must promise to come back for us."
Lenavira moved closer, her gaze intense and resolute. "Give us your word," she insisted. "No matter what challenges you face or how vast the Divine Realm is, you must return for us."
Max didn't offer a verbal response at first. Instead, he gathered both women into a tight embrace, holding them as if to etch the feeling into his memory forever. When he finally spoke, his voice was thick with resolve and warmth. "I promise," he declared. "No matter where I find myself or how high I ascend, I will come back for you both."
Neither Alice nor Lenavira felt the need to speak further. The vow had been spoken, and for them, his word was enough.
