Nightmare World.
Levi located his three followers and asked about the current state of affairs, while detecting an intense aura of peril coming from the Lost Domain's location.
"I'm afraid more than thirty Nightmare Monarchs have assembled in that spot, with no end in sight. The Nightmare World seems to be plotting a grand scheme. Could they be calling forth a hundred or even more... That would bring disaster."
The whole Pan-Plane contains a bit more than a hundred in total, and Nora possesses merely one-third at present. Facing a three-to-one odds, Nora has slim odds of success... In the end, the real challenge comes from Emmon, who borders on level 11 power.
Meanwhile, in the Giant World, no level 11 has emerged so far.
"Keep hunting for signs of the Twilight Demon."
"Understood!"
After departing from the Nightmare, Levi went back to the actual world and contacted the Supreme Council, passing on the details he'd collected to the Legendary Wizard and calling on all to stay alert.
...
A month later.
Sauron Continent, Supreme Council.
Gathered around the circular table were projections of forty level 10 powerhouses, consisting of 34 from the Nora Civilization—such as Legendary Wizards, Giant Kings, Five Barbarian Lords—and even the Survivor of the Vast Sea from the Earth’s Core, who joined via projection.
The sole empty spot belonged to the former Dragon Flame God’s position.
Among the remaining six level 10 powerhouses, three hailed from the Shadow World and three from the Void Holy Temple, headed by Shadow Emperor Charactus and Void Holy Seat Hera.
Their actual bodies had arrived in Nora, showing they were there for crucial discussions.
With the Nightmare World pressing aggressively, how could Nora fail to ready itself? Edmund had already reached out to the heads of those two major powers.
Sitting across from Edmund was Hera, where a man and a woman both radiated a fearsome presence, resembling the sun and moon hanging side by side.
"I've heard plenty about Lady Hera's fame; it truly lives up to the tales!"
"Mr. Emmon too; meeting you proves rumors don't do justice."
They exchanged praises, but an undercurrent of competition simmered in their exchange.
Charactus declared:
"Time presses, so let's hash out the treaty's specifics."
In the following month, the heads of the three major groups argued relentlessly about partnership and alliance issues, clashing with the intensity of a battlefield duel.
Hera and Charactus were no common players, each nursing grand visions of unmatched achievements and tangled motives.
Still, the trio shared a common foe right now: the Abyss and Nightmare. On that key foundation, they finally agreed on terms.
At last, the "Multidimensional Plane Friendly Mutual Assistance Alliance Treaty" was born, becoming the inaugural pact spanning multiple civilizations and races in the Multidimensional Plane!
Treaty Agreement:
[Starting from the signing date, namely Nora Calendar year 1800, the three sides will collaborate and trade mutually, compete on equal terms, and together confront current and future threats like the Abyss, Nightmare, Astral World, insects, Underworld, while avoiding any attacks or meddling in each other's domestic matters.
If one side suffers an assault from enemies, the other two shall provide full aid without holding back. For quick reinforcement and army movement, Nora’s regional Star Gate Network, Shadow World’s Shadow Network, and Void Holy Temple’s regional Void Network shall open freely to alliance members until the treaty concludes.
...]
The alliance treaty's signing stood as the grandest occurrence since the Near Ancient Era in the Pan-Plane, forging a union beyond Giants that stretched across the Multidimensional Plane.
Nora commanded 34 level 10 powerhouses, the Void Holy Temple had 10, and the Shadow World 11, adding up to 55. Even factoring in hidden or undiscovered level 10s, this alliance gripped half the Demiplane’s domain.
Henceforth.
These three entities and 55 powerhouses would stand or fall as one... until toppling the three colossal giant worlds, until the old world's demise, until new worlds dawn!
Naturally, the "Alliance Treaty" included initial plans for a possible new world setup, like stressing joint efforts to explore the Multidimensional Plane, shunning violence and conflict, and halting needless loss of life.
Yet nothing was carved in absolute stone.
As the proverb states, the river flows east for thirty years, then west for thirty; the Shadow World and Void Holy Temple also nursed grand designs, unwilling to stay subordinate forever.
The era shifts without warning, and they too dreamed of luck turning their way, maybe even birthing a mighty force to challenge Nora and contest for dominance.
The Nora Council viewed it similarly: in civilization ties, no friends last eternally, only interests endure forever.
An ally of today might shift in ten thousand years.
...
Post-treaty signing, Levi sensed some ease. Though sparse in count, the Pan-Plane’s elites were top-tier, having risen from lowly origins to the heights of their civilizations' ladders, outmatching many feeble gods.
Fifty-five, including himself, just reached fifty-six.
Provided this group stays cohesive, it needn't match the insects' tight unity to hold off the Nightmare World temporarily.
He believed that upon advancing to level 10, leveraging the Triangles panel would let him take down even mightier enemies alone.
Think of Hera, boasting at least peak level 10 might, yet almost allowing the Grey Mist Monarch to flee; typical level 10s demand group efforts, skill synergies, and surprise attacks for triumph.
Levi required none of that; being a complete specialist granted total dominance!
...
Two years on.
Nora Calendar 1802, Blood Battle 1690.
Ancient Dragon Continent, Witch’s Family.
Nearly four decades had passed since Triss secluded herself for the ninth-circle breakthrough, with figures now and then peering at the wizard tower, their expressions laced with worry.
