Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2929: 594: Edmund’s Nora’s Sun!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Grand Council Chairman Edmund delivered a visionary speech from the Tower of Heaven, rallying millions with promises of a reshuffled universe for thriving civilizations. He unleashed the Legendary spell [Edmund’s Nora Sun], a colossal, eternal orb of fire exceeding three million miles in diameter, illuminating Nora's realms as a beacon for travelers and a symbol of undying legacy. In seclusion, Levi emerged after half a century with enhanced breathing techniques, layered sacred domains totaling 33 tiers, and perfected Ninth-circle spells, bolstering his power to fell early Level 10 foes. Amid ongoing guerrilla skirmishes, wizards like Levi poisoned the Nightmare World with Fear Fog and emerging Fear Wind, claiming Overlord lives while Nora innovates against the encroaching darkness, as the Black Water World integrates into the Ancient Banyan Fairyland.

This spell has become hugely popular across Nora, where countless Grand Wizards are desperate to master it, allowing Levi to rake in massive profits effortlessly.

Through nothing but licensing fees alone, he's pocketed tens of billions. Out of all the Ninth-Circle Spells he's invented, this one ranks just behind "Nine Sword" and "Fear Fog" in terms of fame.

Undeterred, Levi pressed on with crafting his seventh spell in the series, after enduring mental assaults twice from pesky foes such as the Poison Smoke Lady and the Grey Mist Monarch.

To counter this, he pushed forward his studies in sealing arts, drawing on a vast array of theories from Gargamel and checking in with him via remote sessions now and then. Elena poked fun at Levi, joking that his video chats with Gargamel happened way more often than those with her.

Levi's blueprint for researching sealing arts splits into two main phases:

In the initial phase, spanning First to Fifth Circle, he blended sealing techniques with the Elementalist School's principles, forging a complex framework of sealing spells, namely:

First-Circle Spell: "Four Symbols Sealing Foundation", encompassing "Earth Sealing", "Sealing of Fierce Flames", "Sky Wind Sealing", "Ten Thousand Waters Sealing"!

On top of that, options include "Three Talents Sealing Basics", "Light and Dark Sealing Basics", "Shadow Sealing Basics", "Blood Seal", "Life and Death Seal", "Highly Poisonous Seal"... plus various other sealing spells tailored to different elemental forces.

Wizards from specific schools can train in the matching spells.

To put it precisely, by grasping diverse elements and energies, users can lock away the enemy's spell power or elemental forces tied to those traits.

Thus, the goal of restricting their ability to cast spells and fight is met.

The spells from Second to Fifth Circle build upon and enhance the First-Circle ones, without any core changes; at best, they weave a sealing barrier from the caster's own spell power to trap the foe.

During this period, a wizard's understanding remains basic, and these elemental-focused sealing arts meet all their routine demands in battles against adversaries. The following phase holds the real importance.

Once reaching the primordial soul stage, wizards gain insight into space and other arcane secrets, so the sealing spells here naturally link to spatial elements, bypassing differences in enemy attributes to suppress everything!

As a result, though labeled as sealing spells, they double as spatial spells too, with this lineup kicking off at Sixth Circle and culminating in Legendary.

In his vision, theoretically, they consist of:

"Six Harmonies Seal", "Seven Luminaries Seal", "Eight Gates Sealing", "Nine Palace Sealing", and "Ten Directions Seal".

With that, a full lineup of sealing spell sequences comes together.

Shifting from elemental-based sealing to space-oriented sealing.

Yet sealing arts delve deep and wide, offering endless knowledge to merge. When up against hordes of immortals—foes tough to wipe out—these two categories alone fall short.

So Levi keeps broadening the horizons of sealing arts. Going solo won't cut it; he relies on help from legends and Grand Wizards such as Gargamel.

Looking ahead, he aims to craft "Mind Seal" for binding will and thoughts, "Soul Seal" to straight-up confine the soul, "Time Seal" that freezes enemies in a stagnant moment from some bygone era, and "Primordial Magnetic Sealing", which ensnares foes in a wild force field of boundless might.

Sealing arts, sealing heaven and earth, sealing all things!

Naturally, these ideas are merely Levi's designs; bringing them to life demands he ascend to Legendary Wizard status, since his present knowledge base lacks the depth.

At last, Levi pulls up the proficiency panel.

Strength Rune at Level 20, Strength boost of 400%;

Chariot Rune at Level 20, Speed boost of 400%;

Lovers Rune at Nineteenth Rank, Luck boost of 350%;

Moon Rune at Eighteenth-Tier, Lifespan boost of 300%;

Fool Rune at Level 15, Trickery and Destiny force boost of 200%;

Magic Rune at Level 15, Casting speed increase of 180%;

Hanging Rune at Level 13, Elemental damage resistance boost of 140;

Justice Rune at Level 11, Damage bonus against dark creatures of 100%.

Except for the Hermit Rune, all eight of his go-to Rune Languages have seen substantial gains.

In Levi's thoughts, the Justice Rune shines with intense light, linking to the Star God far above in the endless expanse, forging an enigmatic bond.

With starlight cascading down, the star soul arrives!

A lean, stretched-out hound, like a slim canine or greyhound, materializes next to Levi. Unlike the massive star souls of others, this one stands merely a few meters high.

"Woof woof woof!"

The moment it shows up, the slender dog sniffs out the nearby scents, then rips open the void, darts inside, and vanishes.

Soon enough, the slender dog comes back, dragging a knocked-out Level 8 Alien Race being to Levi, dumping it on the floor while angling for praise. Levi grabs the alien, which gazes in horror at the black-armored swordsman looming over it.

"What... what are you doing? Wait, are you the Dusk Palace Master?"

Levi flashes a scornful grin and crushes its skull with one strike, unleashing a surge of demonic energy as a Mind Flayer bursts free from it, attempting to flee. Levi squashes it without effort, as Leon deftly draws in the soul and extracts the Memory Disc.

"Master, here you go."

Levi stows the disc away, examining its contents with care.

"Who would've thought a puppet empire backed in secret by Mind Flayers lurked so close, concealed this cleverly—this hound's nose is something else."

Typically, no demons linger within a million miles of Levi, thanks to the Blood Battle Spirit's nonstop purging. The rare exceptions come from demons like Mind Flayers, who possess hosts and mask their demonic presence.

And right now, this hound specializes in hunting dark creatures.

[Star Soul: Hound]

[Star Name: Dor-Tres]

[Justice: Hates Evil With Passion]

[Star Language: Darkness]

[Level: 9]

[Ability: Bring to Justice]

[Bring to Justice: Summon the hound star soul to hunt and scout any dark creature in a hundred thousand mile radius, unless the target's level surpasses the hound's by a full major realm, in which case no hiding trick or stealth method works against the hound.

Any evil shall ultimately be brought to justice!]

...

"Perfect, it pairs seamlessly with my Blood Battle Armor, enabling total, gap-free demon hunts."

Levi shuts the proficiency panel and scans the latest updates. During his years in seclusion, Nora has transformed dramatically.

Supreme 35 seats, more than 400 Level 9 Experts, Star Gates reaching into far-off regions, Triss, Ace, Gandaph—all hitting or nearing spiritual force peaks, poised to boldly enter the Ninth-Circle Realm this century.

A fresh era dawns.
