Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2893: 588: Time Dragon! The Supreme Beings’ Trail!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Levi gazed into the Small Stone Pond and glimpsed a vision of the Time Castle, summoning the legendary Time Dragon into manifestation before him. The ancient dragon, the sole guardian of time across past and future, revealed its origins within the Dragon Clan and its ascension by merging timelines, granting it supreme yet impotent power over cosmic events. Coiling in boredom, it described discovering the Age History Book at the River of Time's depths, tasking it with eternally observing and recording the universe's pivotal eras. Levi, cautious of forbidden knowledge, declined insights into primordial mysteries but faced the dragon's probing question about his own fate and Nora's path.

Levi shook his head while speaking:

"I'm not interested in learning about that. It fills me with a feeling of fate and powerlessness, like the conclusion was set in stone from the start... Even if the universe's truth operates that way, I prefer to hold an optimistic view that my actions can alter the path for Nora and me alike. The conclusion isn't fated; I craft it myself!"

A faint smile appeared on the Time Dragon's face, as it had anticipated Levi's response.

This wasn't due to glimpsing the upcoming timeline moment.

Instead, it drew from Levi's history of actions.

"I posed the identical query to Edmund, and his reply echoed yours closely. It appears humans share remarkably alike views on some matters."

Suddenly, the Time Dragon remarked:

"It's incredibly tough for me. I possess knowledge of countless events yet remain unable to voice them. Can you grasp my frustration? I frequently quip that I'm less the Time Dragon and more the Time Prison. Such is the toll for attaining the Supreme."

Levi inquired:

"Does ascending to the Supreme demand specific sacrifices? If you're able to respond to this, I'd appreciate the insight.

If that's not possible, no issue; I'll uncover it independently."

The Time Dragon replied:

"If it's a sacrifice hinges on your viewpoint. Seek it out yourself; the journey proves far more engaging."

"Very well, my thanks."

Levi raised this point because he sensed that neither Sauron nor the Supreme Wills of the Four Great Giants worlds resembled ordinary entities. Maybe attaining Supreme status transforms one into those ancient Primordial beings.

"Fine, time for me to leave. Farewell, young one."

The Time Dragon's form dissolved into the flow of time and disappeared. As the Time Historian, it also authored the "Age History Book."

For quite some time, Levi's emotions refused to settle.

He had just encountered the second Supreme-level being after the Netherworld Ancestor. In certain respects, it could indeed claim the title of the universe's mightiest.

Yet on the flip side, it ranks as the cosmos's frailest.

"Among the Five Legendary Dragon Species, the Rainbow Dragon merged with my bloodline, the Void Dragon resides in the Underworld, the Mind Dragon dwells in the Nightmare, the Time Dragon soars beyond, leaving only the Power Dragon's location unknown... Perhaps in the astral world?" Levi whispered to himself.

He returned to the Chaos Holy Soul, resuming his watch over the scenes unfolding ahead.

There appeared an ever-pulsing scarlet heart, likely the "Eternal Heart" mentioned by Sauron, with its remnant being the "Blood of Multiplication."

Additional Primordial existences came into view, ones Levi had never crossed paths with; almost every one had either extinguished itself or integrated into the universe's laws, bequeathing behind relics.

He even spotted a spectral golden greatsword, which he dubbed the "Primordial Sword," probably embodying the rules of metal elements.

Following its self-destruction, numerous relics emerged. Levi recognized several, including that venerable spear radiating boundless sharpness.

"It resembles the Dusk Spear."

Levi muttered, verifying by close examination; yes, it matched precisely.

This artifact originated in the Primordial Era as a Primordial relic, an Innate Artifact, later refined by sentient beings. Upon their demise, the Creation reverted to its natural state, ultimately discovered by Roger within the Rainbow Sea.

"Oh, now it clicks."

Levi also noticed a subtle golden, withered bamboo-shaped item, another accidental remnant from the greatsword's explosion, consumed by a thunderous Primordial entity and lost forever.

"Why does this seem so recognizable? Is it Golden Electric Sword Grass?"

Levi remembered that slender bamboo stalk; it bore a striking resemblance.

"It has to be... Thus, the wondrous plant I stumbled upon in the ancient tower was once a Primordial Spirit's relic, lying dormant for eons until it sprouted by chance within the tower."

Little surprise the Golden Electric Sword Grass wielded such might, its potential boundless; after all, it stemmed from a superior origin, and Lord Victor truly struck gold with it.

"Should Lord Victor reach Nine Rings Perfect, refine the Dusk Spear, and transform the Golden Electric Sword Grass into a Legendary Artifact, then advance to legendary, he'll emerge exceptionally powerful, harboring real prospects of Supreme attainment down the line!" Levi's thoughts surged.

The Chaos Wizard represented one route, the knight embodied six, and Levi controlled seven Supreme paths personally. Lord Victor's success would mark the eighth. Assigning paths to the Holy Infant and Gandalf each would complete ten.

Ideal!

"My immediate goal: locate certain Primordial Relics."

Primordial Relics endure; they get claimed by various entities or morph into new forms. With diligence, discovering one or two remains feasible.

Back then, amid harsh circumstances, Sauron unearthed plenty. Building upon such foundations, Levi could surpass that feat.

Greater readiness against the Giants proved essential.

Levi pressed on with his examination.

"That presence akin to a mother nest's will, in its womb-shaped guise, faced a near-fatal siege and detonated immediately, dispersing a host of relics.

The deep crimson massive stone ought to be the "Evolution Stone Plate" referenced by Heavenly Will; remarkably, the stone plate traces back to the Nest—quite the revelation.

Regrettably, the Nest didn't perish completely. Through the force of its explosion, it slipped away via fissures into alternate universes and has since reemerged."

Grasping the Nest's exceptional heritage weighed heavily on Levi's mind.

A creature enduring to the finale must possess immense strength.

Furthermore, reconstructing itself post-explosion in a foreign universe.

Even assembling an insect horde for a renewed assault—its resolve stands unparalleled.
