Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2820: 576: The Collector of the Bizarre, the Author Who Seals All Demons!
Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The Ninth Layer of Hell.
Across the desolate wilderness, a violent struggle erupted between the Death Knight and the Gluttonous Demon King. While their realms were nearly identical, the Gluttonous Demon King held a slight advantage in raw power; however, the Death Knight utilized the Overlord Treasure to seize the upper hand and reverse the momentum of the fight.
Silently, the Gluttonous Demon King cursed the wretched Master of the Dusk Palace. Despite their extensive preparations, they had failed to bring down their target. What more was required to succeed?
This had been their most promising opportunity to date.
With the collapse of the plan, the demon dared not stay a moment longer. The Ninth Layer served as the bastion for Hell’s elite and the threshold to the Underworld. If it remained entangled until more Level 10 Strongman arrived, its life would surely end today.
"Moira, retreat!"
After being forced to take another strike from a blade flash that sent Demon Blood spraying from its wounds, the Gluttonous Demon King acted. It summoned several Demon Mountains to detonate as a distraction, then Shattered the Void and vanished into the rift, abandoning its companion without a second thought.
Betraying one's allies had always been a hallmark of demon strategy.
The Death Knight did not give chase. Capturing a lord from the 380th layer of the Abyss through solo effort was a daunting task. Instead, the knight wheeled the horse around, directing a domineering blade light toward the Poison Smoke Lady. This lord of the 304th layer would not be escaping!
Seeing the operation crumble, the Poison Smoke Lady had intended to flee as well. However, she found herself pinned down by the synchronized assault of Levi and the Legendary Wizard.
A pointed hat hovered beneath the Sky Dome, rotating at high speeds to generate a massive suppressive force that locked down the surrounding territory.
With his white hair flowing, Gargamel gripped an ancient tome.
This was his Soul Artifact, the "Weird Tower." Though it took the form of a hat, it was actually his personal wizard tower. Following his recent breakthrough to the Legendary realm, the hat had been elevated to a Legendary Wizard Tool, even if it remained slightly unpolished.
While it could not yet rival the storied artifacts held by the legendary wizards of the Supreme Council, it was more than enough to restrain this demon!
The expertise of his Legendary Profession, the "Sealing Demon Book Master," lay in sealing, controlling, and suppression, making him the natural nemesis of all demons.
A verdant ocean of vapor surged in an attempt to resist the Weird Tower’s influence. The Poison Smoke Lady felt a sense of dread; dealing with Gargamel alone was manageable, but the presence of the Dusk Palace Master made escape nearly impossible.
Levi pushed the Eternal Star Abyss to its limit, casting starlight over the toxic mist to steadily drain the Poison Smoke Lady’s vitality.
Furthermore, a sea of blood churned within the area, filled with infinite bloody evil spirits that consumed everything they touched. Having gorged on demon flesh, the Blood Battle Spirit now possessed strength nearly equal to Levi at full power.
Though it lacked the means to deal a finishing blow to the Poison Smoke Lady, its immortal nature allowed it to harass and distract her effectively.
The situation turned truly dire for her when the Death Knight entered the fray.
A blade flash of such magnitude that it stunned heaven and earth carved a hundred-thousand-mile rift through the sea of mist, bisecting the Poison Smoke Lady instantly.
To her, the toxic vapors were both her physical form and her wellspring of power. She could survive as long as the mist remained.
However, trapped within the seal, she was being slowly bled dry.
Levi triggered the "Bath Blood" Special Effect, causing his spiritual force to skyrocket past ninety-thousand points. Simultaneously, the Chaos Dragon Witch expanded, growing into a gargantuan dragon spanning a thousand miles.
As he plunged into the mist, his shimmering scales radiated chaotic energy while his innate spells began a brutal barrage. Nine Great Suns ascended above before detonating, their solar fire incinerating sections of the mist and causing the Poison Smoke Lady to shriek in agony.
"Thousand Poison Demon Realm!"
In a desperate burst, twenty Layers of Demon Realm manifested, followed by a swarm of a thousand different venomous snakes and insects that clouded the sky. They swarmed the witch form like a plague of locusts, gnawing through the Chaos Dragon’s powerful defensive barriers.
Fire Dragon Tribulation! Explode!
Following Levi’s command, the innate spells self-destructed around his dragon form, turning vast numbers of insects to ash, though many still managed to infiltrate the witch form to release corrosive green fumes.
Sensing the toxins eating their way in, Levi briefly withdrew the White Dragon from the mist to heal its injuries with spell and elemental power.
Meanwhile.
The Death Knight struck again, another brilliant blade light dividing the mist into four distinct sections, yet the demon continued to struggle, refusing to fall.
Standard physical strikes were not enough to end a demon of this caliber.
Observing the stalemate, the pages of the ancient book above Gargamel flipped rapidly on their own. He unleashed a torrent of seventh, eighth, and ninth-circle spells alongside innate magic that detonated within the vapors. This book was the evolution of his previous wizard form, "Strange Fairy Tales."
Upon his ascension to legend, his wizard form had fused with the "Legendary Artifact Sealing Demon Record," becoming the "Ancient Book of Ten Thousand Demons."
Utilizing his vast reservoir of knowledge, Gargamel triggered a chain of explosions that cleared the most lethal toxins from the field.
Still, the Poison Smoke Lady’s essence was incredibly resilient. Despite the combined firepower of the three combatants, her core remained hidden. Concerned that demon reinforcements might arrive, Gargamel sent a mental message to Levi and the Death Knight:
"Focus everything on weakening and pinning her down. I will invoke a Legendary Spell to trap her, allowing us to refine and destroy her slowly."
With those instructions, the intensity of Levi and the Death Knight’s assault reached a new peak.
The Blood Battle Spirit reconstituted itself endlessly, diving back into the green fog with reckless abandon. The Primordial Spirit Emperor, the Chaos Dragon, and the Starlight Giant Spirit each unleashed their full wizarding potential.
Levi himself descended, flanked by the grand Six Holy Heavens. Wrapped in six variations of Holy Realm Power, his sword light tore through the air with a momentum that rivaled even the Death Knight’s devastating blade.
