Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2810: 574: Darling, Kill for Me! Battle at Level-10 Again!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Edmund stands firm against the Holy Mother’s divine incarnation, invoking ancient covenants and the strength of Nora’s level-10 beings to protect the Snake of the End. Though the goddess withdraws in frustration, the Heavenly Father and his allies in the astral world begin plotting to suppress Nora’s rising influence before it can challenge their divinity. Meanwhile, in a remote desert temple, the god Artu recuperates from battle while lying in wait to intercept and eliminate the Dusk Palace Master. Amidst these gathering storms, the forces of the Nightmare World begin a massive relocation into the Daydreamer’s surreal demiplane.

"It is truly marvelous to forge such a spiritual Demiplane, suspended between the realms of illusion and reality through sheer will. Only a Daydreamer could achieve this."

"Wait, what are those iron birds soaring through the firmament?"

"Where? Let me take a look."

"They appear to be some sort of Mechanical Creature, do they not? It is nothing to be shocked about."

"That might not be the case."

Once the group had gathered, Levi arrived to inspect the Legendary Wizard Demiplane. He watched the aircraft gliding above with a pensive expression. Could this Daydreamer be a fellow traveler from another world, a countryman of his?

"During my imprisonment within the Lost Monarch, I obtained the memories of a departed Lost soul. My investigations suggest he was not a being born of the Multidimensional Plane. When I established this Demiplane, I integrated many of those whimsical concepts into its foundation."

The Legendary Wizard manifested with a calm demeanor and explained.

"I understand."

Levi’s thoughts remained composed as usual.

If the "mirage" served as a junction where various universes occasionally intersected, it was hardly shocking that a few "transmigrators" would emerge throughout the vast eons.

...

Ancient Banyan Fairyland.

The Three Realms had just been inaugurated, and the area was already teeming with life.

In the Heavenly Realm, floating islands stood majestic while dragons soared and phoenixes performed their dances. The Stepping Star Pegasus, which Levi had acquired during a previous trek, galloped through the clouds, having already reached a level 6 caliber.

"A true human fairyland," Levi thought, admiring the view.

Within the human realm, the landscape was dotted with the Demon Country, Dragon Palaces, and Cave Heaven Blessed Lands. These overseas territories were reminiscent of the sprawling wilderness described in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

Charming little fairies and elegant pharmacist witches moved between various resource nodes, happily engaged in the cycle of sowing and reaping.

Down in the Earth Realm, the heroic spirits of the Ten Halls maintained the discipline of the Ghost Mansion. They commanded an army of immortals, conducting drills day and night to ensure they were prepared to repel the Nightmare Army at a moment's notice!

Standing beside Levi with her arms crossed, Mana spoke with pride:

"Well? Does this version of the Three Realms live up to your expectations, my Hall Master?"

"It is excellent, truly very good."

"I am glad to hear that. I have finally embraced the sensation of being the World Tree."

Mana retreated to the banyan tree, where the God of Creation resumed her pastime of playing Mahjong.

No Hidden Heaven.

Seated upon the Nightmare Emperor Throne, Levi examined the texts written by the Daydreamer, focusing his senses on the essence of Nightmare and Fear Power.

He intended to replicate the Shadow World of the Shadow Dragon Group, aiming to use spells to forge a portable Dreamscape that could contain Nightmare Creatures.

Suddenly, a blood-red fissure tore open in the center of his forehead. His Deep Red Eyes mirrored a vision of endless golden sands. Within a temple, the phantoms of a humanoid and a bull lay resting, radiating waves of malicious intent.

"A level-10 temple... likely an inhabitant of the astral world. Using a bull as a mount and harboring such a grudge against me—this must be the Dusk Sun God, a descendant of the Heavenly Father and a newly ascended Weak God."

Levi remained tranquil, devoid of any trepidation.

This Artu was likely at the bottom tier of level-10 standards, comparable to the demon lords within the top two hundred layers of the Abyss. He was certainly no more formidable than Isolde.

"Once I pinpoint this location, I shall pay you a visit."

Having sensed the threat, Levi had no intention of being passive. He began making preparations, intending to achieve the feat of slaying a god while still possessing a level 9 body.

...

Two years passed.

Nora Year 1602, the 1490th year of the Blood Battle.

The Nightmare Black Dragon Territory remained peaceful. The invasion force commanded by the Devouring Sky Demon Lord had not yet arrived; it was the eerie stillness that precedes a hurricane.

Nightmare Command Center.

The Lord of the End, along with several Legendary Wizards and Grand Wizards skilled in the art of divination, joined Levi to forecast the movements of the monarchs.

By using his Deep Red Eyes to perceive the growing level-10 animosity, Levi determined that approximately 12 Nightmare Monarchs had entered into a pact. However, because the elites of the Nightmare World were masters of anti-divination, the accuracy of this data could be compromised.

The Daydreamer had already dismantled every spatial node discovered within the Dreamland Steeple. With Levi’s assistance, the Shadow School of Thought established a fortification in the Ashen World to block the Nightmare Army from invading through that corridor.

The mobilization for war continued in a systematic fashion.

...

In a flash,

A decade had slipped away.

Nora Year 1612, the Blood Battle reached its 1500th year!

All of Nora was on a war footing, yet there were still no signs of an incursion from either the Abyss or the Nightmare.

However, the operatives Levi had planted in the Nightmare World reported that massive conscription efforts were occurring across more than ten Big Domains. The gathering tide of Nightmare Creatures was just as overwhelming as the momentum seen in previous Blood Battles.

Simulations run by the Snake of the End suggested that the dreaded Lost Monarch would likely participate in the campaign against Nora this time. Consequently, the Daydreamer no longer needed to hunt for the Lost Monarch; the battle would come to them.

...

Land of Darkness.

While listening to reports from the front lines, Pazuzu couldn't help but remark:

"Does the Nightmare World actually intend to fight, or is this all for show?"

The demons were prepared to watch the chaos unfold, but so far, the Nightmare World had offered nothing but loud posturing and minor skirmishes, lacking any real offensive.

"Should we perhaps suggest an alliance with the Emperor of Slumber?" the Shadow Demon Queen inquired.

"Not yet. The monarchs of the Nightmare World are cunning and full of secrets. There is little profit in an alliance with them. Besides, it is not as if we lack the strength to conquer Nora ourselves."

"Do you suspect, Commander, that the Nightmare World is waiting for us to strike first so they can swoop in later?"

"It is highly probable, but we won't give them the satisfaction. We shall let them lead the charge, and we will move in to reap the rewards afterward... they spend their days dreaming of fishing in troubled waters. If we hadn't been so preoccupied fighting the Underworld and Hell in the past, that one from the Nightmare would never have risen to power."
