Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2796: 572: The Way of Spiritual Treasures, the Fate of Nightmares!

One month had passed.
Levi finally stirred and woke upon the Golden Throne.
Returning to the Emperor’s Palace, he found Elena waiting in his chambers, dressed in a mysterious and alluring black low-cut evening gown. Having just concluded a long slumber, Levi felt a surge of vitality; seeing her in such a state, he couldn't resist the urge to celebrate their reunion immediately.
"Be gentle..."
The days blurred together, continuing for several weeks.
During his "Wise Time," Elena rested languidly against his chest. Meanwhile, Levi’s mind was occupied with the structure of the Ninth-Circle Spell within his dream sequence.
He theorized that as the circle of the spell increased, the layers of the dream must deepen. By stacking dream upon dream, an enemy would be plunged into total madness, stripped of their logic until they could no longer distinguish between illusion and reality.
It was reminiscent of the old movie "Inception." Consequently, he intended to design nine distinct layers for this Ninth-Circle Spell. The architecture of such a spell was incredibly intricate, requiring extensive research and trial even for someone of his caliber.
"By the way, did something slip your mind?"
Snapping back to the present, Elena looked up at him and inquired.
"What is it?"
"Your birthday present—the one I made sure to prepare for you."
"What could it be?"
Elena unfurled her fingers, releasing three beams of light that began to orbit Levi. Upon closer inspection, a look of genuine astonishment crossed his face.
Floating before him were three spheres: one black, one blue, and one gold.
The black bead contained a miniature, winding river that mimicked the Yellow River, thick with silt and surging with a powerful, torrential aura. The blue bead held a frozen vista of a desolate snowfield, where ice stretched for thousands of miles. The golden bead depicted a scene of rusted decay, looking like a barren, crumbling wasteland.
"The Water Disaster Pearl, the Frost Disaster Pearl, and the Golden Disaster Pearl... This is a surprise, isn't it?"
Elena wore a look of triumphant satisfaction.
Levi nodded and admitted: "It truly is. I didn't expect this at all."
"I am well aware of your passion for collecting. Noticing you were missing these three specific beads, I conducted a secret search and managed to track them down. I must give some credit to the Zion Witch from the Fire Dragon Sky Work; she provided the leads regarding Doster Collin."
"You have been very thoughtful."
In truth, Levi had often thought about the missing beads from that particular wizard. He knew that completing the set wouldn't provide him with much practical power, but his obsessive-compulsive nature and love for collecting made the set feel painfully unfinished.
Now, that lingering desire was satisfied.
With a grin, he pulled Elena back into the sheets, looming over her with a mischievous chuckle. "I really must reward you properly for this."
"You... you are truly repaying my kindness with such 'cruelty'!"
A month later, Elena departed from the Emperor’s Palace. She announced her intention to enter seclusion to strive for Eight-Ring Perfection and to elevate her Energy Sect and Knight Cultivation to level eight as quickly as possible. It appeared her recent "exhaustion" necessitated a period of quiet cultivation to recover.
Left alone, Levi gathered all seven beads of varying colors.
"Not bad. If I gather the Seven Dragon Balls, perhaps I can make a wish."
He rolled the Seven Disasters Pearls in his large hand. These were seven unique exotic treasures ranging from level 6 to level 7, each designed to unleash different elemental catastrophes.
On a whim, he funneled his Chaotic Power into the treasures to fully activate them. Suddenly, the Seven Disasters Pearls began to vibrate violently, emitting a low hum.
Levi’s expression shifted.
"Wait, did Doster Collin actually hide a hidden feature similar to the Dragon Balls in these? These Seven Disasters Pearls are more than they seem."
In an instant, the beads began to liquefy, melting into seven distinct streams of colored fluid. They merged into a single entity, hardening into a brilliant Seven-Colored Bead. Faint inscriptions began to manifest on its surface.
"Collin’s Treasure Refining Notes."
A flood of information rushed into Levi’s consciousness. He ignored the text for a moment to inspect the new Seven-Colored Bead, realizing it had transformed into a peak level 8 exotic treasure.
When he channeled his Chaotic Power into it, it unleashed seven distinct forces—floods, fires, lightning, and landslides—mimicking the calamity power used by Ninth-Circle Wizards. These forces swirled together to create a rotating Seven-Colored Domain.
With this power, he would be peerless within the Eight-Circle realm. Levi suspected that even a Ninth-Circle Wizard would find it difficult to endure for more than a brief moment.
And yet, this was merely a peak Level 8 treasure.
"Doster was a disciple of Duke Rumon in his previous life. I recall the Duke mentioning he perished young before reaching the Ninth-Circle, likely falling within the Eight Environments. To craft such an artifact, his genius for treasure refining was truly peerless! Had he reached the Legendary rank, his talent would surely have rivaled Master Bao Long, the greatest craftsman of this era."
The completed Seven Disasters Pearl was formidable indeed.
However, for Levi, its practical use remained limited. With his current level of Cultivation, even standard Nine-Level treasures did little for him; these Level 8 items would likely just sit on a shelf. But as he delved into "Collin’s Treasure Refining Notes," his eyes widened in shock.
"I see... he actually pioneered a unique path for refining exotic treasures. He ignored traditional methods to research something he called 'Spiritual Treasures'."
As is common knowledge in the Wizard world, exotic treasures are products of ancient refinement techniques. They carry the hallmarks of alien civilizations and ancient methods, but they possess two significant flaws:
First, their level is static; once created, they cannot be upgraded. Second, they are prohibitively expensive to manufacture, draining massive amounts of resources.
Because of these issues, exotic treasures are usually discarded as a wizard’s level increases. Combined with the scarcity of materials, the Wizard civilization eventually shifted toward developing Wizard Tools that could evolve, which became a core pillar of the Three Arts of Wizardry.
