Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2735: 561: Nightmare Emperor Dragon! Pandora’s Root Returns! The Eighteenth Seat!
Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The elves are born with natural elemental affinities and the vast lifespans of a longevity species. In a logical sense, the congress of human wizards would typically never permit your kind to walk the path of the wizard.
However, the reality is that we have never prohibited the elves from practicing wizard spells or delving into wizardry knowledge since the conclusion of antiquity. In fact, the inhabitants of Pandora have always been invited to make their homes within Nora.
This is because the ancestor of wizards once prophesied that a day would come when the elves and our wizard association would cast aside ancient animosities to form a united front; only through such unity can we hope to survive!
Lola fell silent for a brief moment before replying, "We recognize these truths. What happened in the past remains there, and our most urgent priority now is to triumph over the Blood Battle currently ravaging the Pan-Plane."
Edmund remarked, "To demonstrate our good faith, a new resolution has been ratified by the unanimous vote of the Supreme Council. Starting today, the 'Pandora’s Eternal Covenant' is officially rescinded."
The moment those words were uttered, the minds of every elf present were rocked to the core.
Waves of exhilaration, shock, and intense emotion rippled through the crowd.
The consequences of this act were obvious to all.
The Pandora Matriarch is finally waking up!
Their supreme God of Creation has made her return!
Furthermore.
The elven powerhouses who were once shackled by the covenant now possess the opportunity to break through into the ten-level realm.
Pandora shall rise!
The elves carried a deep sense of pride.
They had always suspected that Sauron feared their potential strength, which is why he utilized the covenant to suppress them. Now, the Supreme Council actually possessed the nerve to remove those very restrictions.
This signaled that Edmund and the wizard civilization he led possessed total confidence in their ability to crush any ambitions the elves might harbor!
It was a logical conclusion.
The times had shifted.
The Supreme Council now commanded seventeen seats.
The tally of legendary wizards in this age far surpassed the numbers seen during Sauron’s era.
Even though the current Grand Council Chairman might not be as terrifyingly powerful as Sauron, he remained a titan capable of dominating an entire era.
Successive generations of Supernova Wizards and knights have shone with dazzling brilliance.
Modern-day Nora has transformed into an unstoppable juggernaut of a vessel.
Only four giant worlds remain as obstacles in its wake!
No other civilizations are even worth mentioning.
Such was the self-assurance birthed from overwhelming might!
Lola, alongside the various elven clan leaders, quickly bowed to express her profound appreciation.
Edmund stepped forward to stand directly before the mother tree of Pandora.
He reached out to touch the gnarled bark, which felt as massive as the surface of a planet.
A flicker of crimson flame ignited at the tips of his fingers.
He began to trace the paths of the runes that Sauron had carved into the tree in ages past.
Wherever his flame brushed, the shimmering golden runes started to dissolve and fade.
Time seemed to lose meaning until the final etched letter vanished completely.
Pandora’s Eternal Covenant had been broken!
Offering a refined, gentlemanly salute, Edmund spoke in a soft tone:
"It is time to wake, my Lady..."
In the following instant, the colossal tree began to hum and vibrate.
The rustling of millions of leaves rubbing together filled the air.
Deep within the earth, massive roots stirred like Earth Dragons waking from a slumber.
The branches swept through the sky, appearing much like a person taking a slow, lazy stretch.
A dream lasting thirty thousand years was finally coming to an end.
A resonant, melodic female voice spoke softly.
"What era is this? And where has Sauron gone?"
A flurry of falling leaves spiraled down, coalescing into a graceful, slender figure who leaned her head against her hand.
Clad in robes of green, her eyes held a depth as mesmerizing as the Deep Sea.
She radiated a divine, maternal presence that was impossible to describe.
She was truly one of a kind!
Edmund held her gaze for a moment before smiling and saying:
"You have slumbered for thirty millennia, and Sauron is no more. I have broken the chains of your eternal covenant. I am Edmund, the presiding Grand Council Chairman of the Nora Council and the successor to the Wizard Council... This is the state of the world today, Lady Pandora."
The Pandora Matriarch studied the middle-aged man standing in front of her.
He was powerful, composed, and shrouded in mystery—reminiscent of how Sauron once was.
The only difference was that Sauron had been more impulsive and full of life.
And, naturally, he had been quite irritating as well!
As the God of Creation for the Pandora elves.
She remained quiet as a deluge of memories and voices from her many children flooded her consciousness.
Slowly, she began to grasp the current state of affairs.
Suddenly, a bittersweet laugh escaped her lips:
"That man Sauron was truly heartless... I once believed he spared my life out of some lingering affection or pity, but it turns out he only wanted to ensure I could be exploited thirty thousand years later, haha!"
Edmund was unaware of the specific history between Sauron and the Pandora Matriarch, but he sensed that the wizard ancestor had likely wounded this lady’s heart in more ways than one.
Reflecting on it, there were quite a few women who held grudges against Sauron.
The Pandora Matriarch, the succubus queen, and the one residing in the Underworld...
Those were merely the ones everyone knew about.
There were likely countless others hidden in the shadows.
Perhaps this was simply a burden shared by all successful men.
Edmund looked inward at his own life.
He hadn't reached the same heights as Sauron.
Was it perhaps because he lacked such complicated romantic entanglements?
It seemed that truly honest men struggled to build legendary empires.
Noticing Edmund's stoic expression, the Pandora Matriarch suddenly said:
"No matter, those old grievances have nothing to do with you. I thank you for releasing me. I am not a person who lacks reason; the Pandora Clan shall participate in the Blood Battle and stand with you against the demons... I only hope you do not discard your allies once the victory is won."
Edmund gave a reassuring smile. "My Lady, have no fear. From this point forward, whether it be the Pandora Clan or any of the All Clans, everyone who joins us will be considered people of Nora—there will be no distinction... I would like to formally invite you to take the eighteenth seat on the Supreme Council."
The Pandora Matriarch looked upon her elven descendants.
They were all her children.
Though her power was immense, exceeding that of a standard ten-level, she knew that in this new age, a single tree could not make a forest.
She could feel the sincerity in Edmund’s offer.
She could also sense the burgeoning, limitless power of the Nora World’s Origin Will beneath her feet!
It was a force that was constantly evolving and ascending.
This environment would also be highly beneficial for her own progression.
As a daughter of the Origin Will herself.
She had lived through countless eons and witnessed the changing of the seas and fields.
She knew instinctively that Sauron had not truly perished.
He was watching her from some unknown vantage point.
Edmund felt a touch of surprise.
He hadn't anticipated that Lady Pandora would accept his proposal so smoothly.
He offered a sincere compliment: "Your vision and grace are truly admirable! You will undoubtedly hold a prominent place in the worlds to come!"
The Pandora Matriarch offered a silent, knowing smile.
Since Sauron had laid out such perfect conditions for her.
She would be a fool not to take advantage of them!
On that day.
The masses of Nora watched as the Pandora World was integrated.
The elven leaders and the Pandora Matriarch all took their places within the Nora Council.
Even the Dragon Flame God kept a seat, despite having undergone reincarnation.
The Supreme Council entered the era of the eighteen seats.
The number of Level 9 Experts had swelled to over 240!
Meanwhile, on the Ancient Dragon Continent.
Elena looked out across the Eastern Sea toward the Pandora Continent.
A sense of genuine joy filled her heart.
"With so many stunningly beautiful elves arriving, the single members of the Ancient Dragon Continent will finally have their loneliness cured... This truly is the greatest of eras!"
