Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1628 - 563: Key of Time

Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
Bo He paused mid-conversation with Qu Qi as the dog barked in alarm, drawing her gaze to the towering Cologne Cathedral where a writhing black mist surged like a living beast, revealing glimpses of claws and a maw. Overwhelmed by primal fear, she summoned Lagaray and Cleya, who shared her dread despite their Quasi-Legendary strength, recognizing the mist's terror rivaled or exceeded a divine descent. Griffin Knights approaching the anomaly were ensnared and turned against their own, prompting urgent calls for evacuation amid the Imperial City's rising panic, as dragon roars heralded the Imperial Dragon Knights' arrival. High above, veteran Guardians like Walkmas identified the horror as an ancient Fiend Demon breaking free from the Goddess Church's suppression, sending shockwaves through their ranks.

Upon taking in the fourth Divine Fragment, Rein turned his attention away from the attribute panel toward the odd shape that had just materialized.

What made it so strange?

To be precise, it consisted of two individuals.

The stately old goblin at the bottom resembled those elite goblins from the Goblin Empire he'd encountered earlier, featuring fissured skin, though the thick black energy surrounding him was the densest Rein had witnessed yet.

What stood out oddly was the goblin girl hovering above in fancy attire, seeming ethereal rather than solid, clutching a peculiar golden armament that pierced right through the stately old goblin's spine.

Since the weapon pointed straight down, the girl in elaborate garb hovered suspended in the air.

Just like an angel hovering over the back of the stately old goblin.

They drew near in this unusual fashion.

Yet another peculiar detail was that, despite the stately old goblin's overwhelming might, his pace remained slow, every stride weighed down by tremendous pressure.

This impression struck Rein that the girl in elaborate garb might be opposing or maybe limiting the stately old goblin's actions.

"The final ruler of the Goblin Empire, Solson Gren?"

"And hovering there, the goblin princess Amora Gren?"

"A clash between father and daughter?"

While Rein watched them closely, they spotted him too, abruptly locking their glossy black eyes onto his form.

Differing from the encounter with the seven Divine Incarnations, this stare triggered urgent warnings deep within Rein's mind.

This prompted Rein to squint his eyes, signaling plainly that the foe's power exceeded his.

Having integrated four Divine Fragments, his Spiritual Fission Value climbed to 37%, pushing past the early Full Moon Wizard phase into the mid stage.

Nevertheless, even with that, confronting the final emperor filled Rein with mounting fear.

In truth, their clash of forces had kicked off right then.

The handful of "gas cylinders" Rein had deployed to contain the Demon Power now quivered without control, clearly influenced by the enemy's overwhelming might.

Naturally, Rein didn't stand by. Ripples of dark silver metal surged outward from his feet in a spreading fan pattern toward those "gas cylinders".

Before long, the structure built from these "gas cylinders" grew far more sturdy and fortified, impossible to escape.

However, this move provoked Solson Gren, the ultimate emperor of the Ancient Goblin Empire. He extended his arm, unleashing a thick mass of black gas strands that rushed at Rein resembling writhing octopus limbs!

"Rise!"

Rein squinted his eyes, quickly lifted his hand, and pounded the floor. In a flash, heavy metal barriers shot up from the metallic surface of the third underground floor.

"Boom! Boom!"

The black gas, first halted by the metal barriers, soon reformed into pointed black borers, savagely boring back into the barriers!

"Damn!"

Watching the almost meter-wide metal barrier get rapidly drilled through by the borer-shaped black gas, Rein felt shocked.

The enemy's power proved even greater than he'd expected, and the other metal barriers wouldn't last much longer.

He needed to strike back without delay!

"High-frequency Cutting!"

By flicking his wrist, Rein called forth five humming dark silver metal circles that materialized from nowhere, tracing elegant curves as they sliced toward Solson Gren from multiple angles beyond the metal barrier.

"Roar!!"

Confronting Rein's assault, Solson let out a bellow, with black gas erupting from his frame to create a heavy black mist, out of which several keen black talons shot forth, targeting the approaching dark silver metal circles.

"Sizzle!!"

The moment they collided, bursts of sparks flew wildly, as the rapidly oscillating metal circles barely penetrated shallowly before the black talons clamped down hard. Then, additional black talons burst from the mist.

Within moments, every metal circle endured a barrage from countless black talons!

"Bang!"

The initial metal circle exploded, with the other four crumbling right after.

This sight intensified the gravity on Rein's face.

Though his Fifth Level witchcraft "High-frequency Cutting" fell short of a Full Moon Killing Move, boosted by his Super Affinity for Metal Elements and the five times enhancement from the Steel Heart Advanced Meditation Method, Rein was confident it matched standard Full Moon Killing Moves.

Still, the foe dismantled it with apparent ease.

"Maybe... Metal Series Witchcraft just doesn't work against this enemy, so... Fire Element?"

"Roar!!!"

The pressing crisis gave Rein no chance to think further.

Rein hurriedly boosted his endurance using extra points, then instantly activated the Seventh Form Transformation. His frame expanded swiftly, scales of a dragon covered his skin, and multiple dragon heads grew from his shoulders.

The instant after, all five dragon heads breathed out in unison ahead!

"Fiery Breath!"

Five tapered fire streams merged in front, crafting a blazing white fire sphere tens of meters across, which whirled intensely before hurtling at Solson, the Goblin Empire's final emperor.

An ultimate lethal technique, the Red Dragon Secret Technique—Molten Core Flame, which demands at minimum three Ancient Red Dragons to perform, and now it involved five!

Its might far exceeded the previous "High-frequency Cutting" Rein had unleashed.

At the same time, the black gas enveloping Solson gathered into hundreds upon thousands of black borers to clash against the massive fireball.
