Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1607 - 555: A One-Man Team_3

"Y-Yes... yes there is! Wait, just the final batch left."
"Hand it over to me..."
"Right away, Your Highness." Lunfrell hurried forward, sweat already beading on his brow. He could clearly sense the strange state of Second Prince Everton, yet he found himself powerless against the prince's commands.
"Here they are, five bottles in total, though you must be aware of the severe side effects these potions carry..."
Without waiting for him to complete his words, Everton lunged forward, snatched one bottle, yanked out the cork, and gulped it down fiercely.
"Your Highness! You can't..." Lunfrell trembled violently, his eyes widening in horror as he observed Everton downing the potent, side-effect-ridden potion like it was nothing more than plain liquid.
The second bottle!
The third bottle!
.....
At that instant, Everton's form was twisting through a fierce metamorphosis.
His once ordinary flesh started bulging with scattered Dragon Scales, bulging sores, and lines of crimson, looking ready to rupture at any second—yet moments later, strands of dark vapor seeped out from inside, making the sores and fissures vanish anew.
"Unbelievable... absolutely unbelievable..."
"To halt the breakdown of the body like this, that dark vapor..." Lunfrell's eyes popped wide as he whispered to himself.
As the very Potion Master behind this creation, he knew all too well the immense strength and the dire repercussions of the Super Evolution Potion.
Once Everton finished the fifth bottle, that dark vapor appeared to strike an eerie equilibrium with the potion's influences...
....
At the same time.
After over ten hours in the air atop the Black Dragon Metheus, Rein finally arrived at Resslero Canyon.
"Lord Rein, we barely got word of your approach, and now you're here." From within the cave outpost, Haleem greeted him with genuine warmth.
"It's been a while, Lord Haleem—congrats on reaching Dawn." Rein replied, grinning broadly.
Through his sharp senses, Rein had immediately picked up that Haleem had progressed to Dawn Wizard status.
"Haha, Lord Rein, I owe you big time; without your help, I'd probably still be chasing that breakthrough chance." Haleem let out a booming laugh at Rein's praise.
"Hiss~ So that's the Giant Dragon you've bonded with—impressively massive." Only now did Haleem spot the Black Dragon's extraordinary bulk.
"Tsk tsk, a Black Dragon at the Extremely Old Dragon rank?"
"That's right, oh? What about Lord Terrio?" Rein scanned the area and questioned puzzledly.
"We weren't anticipating your swift arrival. Lord Terrio took some folks out to scout the ruins as usual, while a couple headed to Zetaya for short-term support on military guards."
"Hold on just a bit; I'll reach out to them and have them hurry back!"
...
In the sprawling metropolis of Zetaya along the Federation's western seaboard, an enormous silhouette dashed rapidly across the urban avenues.
"Giant Beast! A Giant Beast is here!"
"Flee for your lives!"
Down below, the crowds plunged into utter disarray, with even the elegant lords and ladies abandoning their poise to scramble like everyday folk.
In the end, against a disaster-class Giant Beast like this, survival trumped everything else.
"Hmm? Have I scared the folks on the ground?" Up in the clouds, the Giant Beast turned out to be Steel Dragon Dorick, dipping its head slightly to peer down, huffing a snort, and grumbling under its breath.
"Never mind; master's right up ahead, so I should push directly there now that I've stirred things up anyway."
"It wouldn't do to leave the master hanging."
Dorick's aerial pace lagged a touch behind the Five-Colored Dragon's, and despite rushing, it trailed Rein by a small margin.
Having already detected its master's presence in the nearby canyon, it opted to soar right over Zetaya.
"Attention all units: a Giant Beast is en route to Resslero Canyon. That's restricted military territory—alert the trailing airship squadron to block it off!"
"And get in touch with the two Crowns without delay."
Aboard the Federation Airship pursuing Dorick from afar, directives flew out in quick succession.
