Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1594 - 550: An Unstoppable Strike!
Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
It perceived that the vertical penetration of energy deep underground, spanning several kilometers, held the real terror, far surpassing the lateral spread!
This... the might of the master's witchcraft proves utterly over the top...
Metheus's instincts proved spot on.
What lay before him was nothing but a mere show of force.
In truth, for a Dawn Peak wizard boasting full crystallization, Rein's complete unleashing of the Dawn Killing Move 'Steel Forest' emphasized depth over any broad horizontal reach.
Beneath the surface, hidden from sight.
The shadowy silver metal layer flowed like a slender current or all-pervading mercury, swiftly infiltrating the maze of intersecting tunnels in all their varied widths.
Numerous defensive and alert witch arrays, only just starting to glow with magical lights, got engulfed by waves of dark silver metal the instant after, vanishing as if they were mere illusions.
Meanwhile, clusters of watchful alien spiders, detecting the ultimate peril, let out shrill cries while fleeing chaotically into the tunnel depths like panicked insects without direction.
Any delay or wrong turn into blind alleys led to those alien spiders getting swiftly ensnared by the oncoming metallic waves, followed right away by piercing metal spikes!
As for the Tutkash school wizards, be they at fogging, liquification, or crystalization stages, those who bolted away managed a few extra breaths; the ones who lingered to fight back all fell to the dark silver metallic surges.
Their vibrant spells, without fail, slammed into the metallic waves like pebbles tossed into a pond, causing brief disturbances in the ripples before everything settled back, failing to halt or impede the advance of those dark silver metallic flows.
All because the spellcaster was Rein, endowed with exceptional metal element affinity, the Steel Heart Advanced Meditation Method, and mastery at the pinnacle of the Dawn Wizard Path!
"Sect Leader! The foe has breached us!" A frantic Tutkash wizard dashed into Graham’s laboratory, blurting out.
Yet the moment he stepped in, he stood rooted to the spot.
For there stood his sect leader Graham upon what was clearly a teleportation array.
Was escape his intention?
But what of the school wizards still out there?
In fact, from the very start of Rein's spellcasting, Graham, as a Dawn Level High Rank Wizard, had already picked up on the crushing waves of metallic energy particles.
Even more chilling was the sheer intensity of those witchcraft surges, which made him feel utterly powerless to stand against!
A feeling of doom loomed large!
Fortunately, after his prior defeat at Rein's hands, he had long prepared his getaway path.
Abruptly, a massive, fluid rush of dark silver metallic waves appeared at the doorway, engulfing the stunned messenger wizard in an instant.
"Sect Leader... help..."
The wizard's face twisted in agony and desperation, his arms stretching toward Graham though frozen in position.
Beholding this, Graham's face remained stoic, even as his mind seethed with burning resentment:
"Just hold on! Rein, when Neyubrekan regains some divine strength and sends down a new avatar, that's when you'll meet your end!"
Just before the metallic waves could reach him, a burst of green light flashed, and Graham disappeared from view.
The floor's transmission array detonated with a sharp 'bang' right after.
....
"Hmm? That fluctuation..."
Rein detected a faint spatial ripple.
At that same instant, his dark silver metallic waves had delved to the lowest depths of the Tutkash school’s underground stronghold.
"Impossible, has Graham gotten away?" Rein showed some astonishment.
Without delay, he vanished from his location.
Rein materialized next inside what had been Graham’s chamber.
His eyes fixed on the floor.
The wrecked transmission array revealed that Graham lacked the courage to face him and had simply run off.
This prompted Rein to offer a wry smile and a headshake:
"I ought to have had the Isodre School wizards move in ahead, and now see, I've driven him off."
...
Before long, Rein's form emerged once more above ground.
"Fine, get folks to clear things out this afternoon; there ought to be plenty of Tutkash school’s precious books and resources down there, Sect Leader, the sorting falls to you." Rein approached Moria, stating.
"What? Rein Crown, it's... finished already?" Moria, still reeling, stared blankly at Rein.
The rest of the High Rank wizards shared the profound shock, their gazes locked on Rein.
Is it truly done?
"Indeed, Graham got away, but I've taken care of every other Tutkash school wizard and all those alien spider packs."
Rein’s declaration left the gathered crowd in stunned quiet for a few heartbeats, then erupted into roaring cheers like a tidal wave...
A few wizards, struggling to accept it, hurried eagerly to the entrance, eager to check if, as Rein Crown claimed, the pesky foes had all truly been wiped out.
