Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1552 - 534: Duel Invitation (Part 3)

Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
Moria, Bradley, and Mogaro puzzle over Rein's unexpected establishment of a Mechanical Association with the Isodre School, marveling at his influence over the formidable Stuttgart, before setting off by airship to the Shirendil Plateau. There, Rein meets Elder Ivan and Marshal Alfred aboard an airship, proposing a Mechanical Association to combat the rampant exotic spider swarms and a Sword Bearers Branch to bolster border control, both of which gain swift approval. As the Elder Council departs to address the Evil God threat, Moria's group arrives amid the school's devastation and joins Rein in the underground Mechanical Assembly Hall, where he reveals Ancient Goblin Empire knowledge and swiftly constructs a powerful mechanical land bird, leaving the Isodre wizards in awe of his unmatched expertise.

The power level of this mechanical marvel—the Mechanical Velociraptor—matches that of a Liquidized Wizard in battle prowess, and yet Rein assembled it in under fifteen minutes.

This achievement is nothing short of miraculous!

Right from that instant, Rein fully earned the respect and awe from the pair.

"The Mechanical Association shall implement the Contribution Points system. Loans will allow you to pre-order mechanical creations for clearing out exotic spider swarms, where you gain Contribution Points by wiping out those exotic spider swarms along with members of the Tutkash School and various other cults."

"Regarding the exact verification of Contribution Points and the loan limits, I'll hand over the full details to you."

Rein certainly extended kindness to the Bixiu Mechanization School, permitting their existing Contribution Points to transfer smoothly into the association's own. The precise conversion rate, however, was handed off to Moria and the rest to determine.

Once these issues were sorted out neatly, he started tapping into the Isodre School's stockpile of precious minerals to push forward his Goblin Engineer profession.

This approach served dual purposes: supplying the fresh Mechanical Association with a solid base of mechanical creations, while also boosting his own Profession Level to hit two birds with one stone.

After a brief reflection, Rein resolved to craft several mid-to-high-tier combat mechanical creations tailored for Crystallization Wizards.

After all, the Mechanical Land Bird featured in the demo catered mostly to wizards at the fogging and liquidization stages; for Crystallization Wizards, something on par with the Mechanical Velociraptor would deliver a substantial power boost.

On this occasion, Rein went for enhanced variants surpassing the Mechanical Velociraptor, split into two variants. The initial one was the Scythe Claw Dragon modification, boasting even deadlier upper claws shaped like deadly sickles.

The other was the Sharp Roar Dragon, which primarily added an ultrasonic assault mechanism right into the jaws of a basic Mechanical Velociraptor.

He selected these two upgrades because certain exotic spider swarms consist of tiny yet overwhelming numbers of foes, tough to handle due to their venom sprays and web launches, making ultrasonic wide-area strikes a more precise counter.

In particular, deploying both upgraded Velociraptors in tandem would yield results far exceeding their individual capabilities.

A Crystallization Wizard equipped with a Mechanical Scythe Claw Dragon and a Sharp Roar Dragon could withdraw safely with ease, barring encounters with foes at the Dawn Wizard rank.

Before long, as Rein forged these wonders, the system's alerts rang out one after another:

Across the next few days, Rein's Goblin Engineer (Legendary) Profession Level rose steadily to lv10, granting him 3 attribute points and 3 skill points from the legendary Goblin Engineer class.

At present, his attribute panel displays 10 unspent attribute points and 22 unspent skill points, with Golden Skill Points hitting a record 763.

"Both the Mechanical Scythe Claw Dragon and Mechanical Sharp Roar Dragon count as top-tier Goblin Engineering works, so I've fulfilled the fourth requirement of 'Independently creating any five qualified high-end Goblin Engineering creations' for advancing to Goblin Engineering Expert (Epic)."

Rein mused deeply, lost in thought.

"That leaves just the final piece—condition three 'Master high difficulty Goblin Engineering knowledge'. The moment I grasp it, I'll be ready to advance whenever..."
