Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1433 - 490: Battle of the Three Dragons (Part 2)

Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
The abnormal Fire Dragon relentlessly pursues the injured Red Dragon Tasa, nearly overpowering Red Queen Menia’s partner due to a massive size advantage. Just as the beast prepares to strike, Rein arrives in a dark silver dragon form of increased size, slamming into the opponent to break the chase. While Reginald sends the Giant Dragon Ted to assist in the unfolding melee, Rein finds himself locked in a brutal struggle against the Fire Dragon’s molten armor and immense strength. Despite Rein's transformation, the two dragons trade devastating blows midair, revealing the opponent possesses the power of a late-stage epic creature.

The bizarre Fire Dragon clamped its talons firmly around Rein’s torso, its massive jaws gaping toward his head. Its neck began to bulge rhythmically, section by section, as if building up a massive head of steam!

"This is bad, it’s the Fiery Breath!"

Rein’s heart went cold in an instant!

Having witnessed the devastating power of the creature’s Dragon’s Breath earlier, he knew a direct hit could leave him mortally wounded or, at the very least, flayed alive.

He might even suffer catastrophic injuries!

"Whoosh!"

With a violent jerk, Rein whipped his head to the side just as a pillar of searing white flame roared past his right ear.

Suddenly, the creature’s Fiery Breath cut off abruptly!

Rein felt the dragon claw he was grappling with grow immensely heavy, as if the beast's weight had doubled in a heartbeat.

Looking up, Rein saw that while he was locked in a struggle with the strange Fire Dragon, the Giant Dragon Ted had seized the opening to dive from the heavens and join the fray.

Ted was currently sinking his teeth deep into the strange Fire Dragon’s right wing!

Reginald was no longer perched upon Ted’s back.

Rein’s mind raced; he understood that in such a chaotic melee, even a Dawn Wizard could be fatally wounded by a stray blow.

Three dragons of different hues and sizes were now tangled together like a massive, thrashing ball of meat as they plummeted toward the earth!

"Boom!!!"

The impact carved a massive crater into the soil, sending a mushroom cloud of dust and debris over a hundred meters into the air.

To the shock of all observers, the three dragons continued their savage brawl even after the bone-shattering fall.

The sheer resilience of their Dragon bodies was on full display.

...

At the rear of the Federation’s aerial fleet, positioned beneath the two primary airships.

"The Ajax’s energy cannon is unable to get a lock on that strange Fire Dragon. We can't fire."

Inside the control room of the Demon Statue, Benito struggled with the targeting systems, but the target remained elusive whether in the sky or on the dirt.

The dragons were moving too fast, their positions shifting constantly. A mistimed shot wouldn't just miss; it threatened to incinerate their own allies.

"Lower the airships immediately! Let us down. The fight has reached the ground, and we must provide support," Rebecca’s sharp voice commanded.

"Understood!"

The two massive airships, carrying the Super Giant Magic Statue ’Ajax’ between them, began their slow descent.

...

Meanwhile, Sword Saint Terrio and Hernandez were already dropping toward the battlefield, yet they faced the same dilemma as Rebecca.

The draconic melee was too chaotic. With forms and positions blurring together, there was no opening to intervene safely.

They were forced to hover nearby, waiting like coiled springs to deliver a killing blow the moment their allies separated from the strange Fire Dragon.

At the epicenter of the conflict.

The three dragons remained locked in a brutal struggle. Every stray claw, wing beat, and tail lash kicked up more suffocating dust.

From the airships above to Zaral’s resistance forces on the ground, no one could see through the haze.

Only the terrifying, blood-curdling roars of the dragons echoed out, chilling the hearts of everyone listening!

"Boom!!"

Following the sickening thud of breaking bone and tearing flesh, a dusty-yellow silhouette was hurled out of the cloud.

It was the Giant Dragon Ted, sent flying by a powerful tail strike from the strange Fire Dragon.

Though battered, Ted had managed to tear away a massive hunk of dark red flesh encased in molten scales.

It appeared to have come from the strange Fire Dragon’s wing membrane.

Inside the shroud of dust.

With Ted knocked out of the fight, Rein found himself facing the beast alone, and the pressure increased tenfold.

"With this dust hiding us, there's no reason to hold back!"

Rein ceased his restraint and activated his newly upgraded special ability: "Three Heads."

A jagged rift split the left side of Rein’s dark-silver dragon neck, and a translucent Void Dragon Skull surged out.

Almost simultaneously, a matching rift opened on the right side.

A broad, primitive dragon head with savage features and razor-sharp teeth emerged—the Ancestor Dragon Head.

For this close-quarters slaughter, Rein bypassed the Red Dragon and Corrosive Dragon heads, choosing instead the intangible Void Dragon and the physically devastating Ancestor Dragon.

Possessing three heads at once was a jarring sensation for Rein.

He now possessed multiple fields of vision, effectively erasing his blind spots, though the sudden flood of sensory data made his head spin.

Pushing through the disorientation, Rein launched a ferocious biting attack.

A split second later!

"Crunch!"

The Ancestor Dragon head clamped onto the strange Fire Dragon’s neck, ripping out a massive piece of dark red meat.

"Roar!!"

The creature screamed in pure agony!

For the first time, a flicker of genuine terror appeared in the strange Fire Dragon’s eyes as it beheld Rein’s three-headed form.

Just as Rein prepared to strike with the Void Dragon Skull, a wave of intense heat radiated from beneath him.

He looked down to see the earth transforming into dark red magma. Even his steel-plated armor was beginning to soften.

At the same time, a pulse of crimson light rippled through the strange Fire Dragon’s body as a massive concentration of Fire Element Energy gathered.

"Watch out!"

It was clear the enemy was about to unleash a desperate ultimate technique.

"Virtualization!"

Rein’s pupils contracted as he triggered his ability, shifting his massive three-headed form into a semi-transparent, ghostly state.

Just then, Giant Dragon Ted charged back into the fray. Before Rein could shout a warning, a highly compressed shockwave of fire energy exploded outward from the strange Fire Dragon!

The incoming Ted was hit like a fly struck by a sledgehammer, sent tumbling backward even faster than he had arrived!

Rein felt the crushing impact as well, with searing heat trying to bypass his defenses.

Thanks to Virtualization, the damage was halved, allowing Rein to hold his ground.

But Rein’s expression suddenly darkened!

He realized the fire ring wasn't a single blast—it was a triple-layered explosion.

"Boom! Boom!"

The second ring detonated, forcing Rein’s two biting heads to lose their grip on the enemy.

Then came the third and final blast.

The force finally slammed Rein into the dirt. While he wasn't blown away, it gave the strange Fire Dragon the window it needed to pull back.

"Roar!!!"

Bellowing in pain, the strange Fire Dragon pushed off with its clawed wings, desperately flapping its tattered membranes as it fled toward the volcanic crater.

The appearance of Rein’s three-headed form had broken its spirit; it now sought only to hide within the volcano to lick its wounds.

"You think you can just leave?"

Rein wasn't about to let his prey escape after such a grueling fight.

But just as he prepared to give chase, a massive crimson shadow dropped from the sky directly onto the fleeing beast.

The impact was like a falling star, smashing the strange Fire Dragon back into the earth!

A set of red dragon talons slammed the creature’s head into the dirt with crushing force!

"Roar!!!"

A triumphant cry rang out!

It was the Red Dragon Tasa, who had finally recovered after having her wing torn earlier.

"Tasa!" Rein’s face brightened with relief.

He wouldn't waste this opening.

Rein’s powerful legs shattered the ground as he lunged forward, his massive form closing the distance in an instant.

Tasa was visibly startled by the sight of Rein’s three heads.

She remembered him as a two-headed dragon back in the Ferdinand Forest, but now he had grown a third...

There was no time for questions. She gave Rein a bewildered look with her slitted pupils before turning her fury back to the dragon pinned beneath her claws.

At that moment, the resilient Ted charged back into the circle.

Surrounded on all sides, the strange Fire Dragon was now being torn apart by three different, powerful dragons...
